SkillCat: EPA 608, HVAC & more

I am using this app to complete a EPA certificate however while I am reviewing the material I am constantly being shown a POP UP that requires me to “choose a plan” when I already have a membership. This wouldn’t be a problem if the pop up didn’t kick me out of whatever I was studying and forces me to start again and this is every 5 minutes so it’s largely impossible to get any meaningful progress is a short amount of time.

This app was great, but now just loads and reloads but the name of the courses never show up, is frustrating. This needs to be addressed and fixed please.

Only half of the courses load. It litteraly sits there and try’s to load indefinitely. This app sucks

When I try and restart it keeps loading. I tried deleting and re-installing. Same problem. Says something about not connecting to the server. I think it’s a server issue. Very unhappy and frustrated.

If you’re not exceedingly diligent to make sure the screen doesn’t turn off and lock, it will mark the chapter completed and you have to go back in and find where you left off. Super annoying mechanic.

Bugs all the time. Currently cannot even see anything in the certifications tabs.

I can understand the appeal of this app due to the price, but the shortcomings of the platform have to be discussed. The app is a buggy mess, requiring frequent restarts to function properly. Recent updates have done nothing to address performance concerns. This would be acceptable if the material was good, but it's not. I used SkillCat for EPA 608, the main draw of the platform. The language of the course DOES NOT match the language of the assessment. You'll spend 10 hours preparing for questions that are never asked and you'll be asked questions you've never heard. This is a quiet bit of fraud and a real failure to properly educate students. There is no practice exam and you'll only get 4 attempts. I'm beyond disappointed and I hope SkillCat fixes these issues. Unfortunately, I don't think this will happen because of the captive user base of non tech tradies. Such a shame!

If I go away for a second, it starts spinning and then sometimes takes to final exam. Then spins when I try to go back to keep learning. Then I have to shut off the phone to reboot it.
