Are we being scammed
Honestly I don’t know if people are actually getting awarded these bigger skip grants (5k,10k). They don’t provide updates or any information to let you know what happened with your submission. After being around for a certain time you would think they would start to send emails or give an update in the app like other platforms letting you know if it’s yay or nay. I don’t know just seems suspicious. And another thing is they say the application is open to all but then you can’t submit without paying for a $179 membership- that’s false advertising.

I was charged $99.99 for a Skip Plus membership I didn’t knowingly authorize. I hadn’t used the app in almost a year and never received any notice about renewal. When I requested a refund, they ignored me for over a week-then promised a refund if I withdrew a bank dispute. I followed their instructions, but they still haven’t refunded me. It’s been nothing but delays and excuses. Very disappointing experience. Be careful-they don’t stand by their word.
Fraud/Scam - DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM BUSINESS OWNERS
I signed up for a free trial 3 months ago, cancelled the trial and I’ve still been $14.99 and $29.99 7 times since. They don’t have customer service support to contact and refund the charges. I’m going to call a lawyer of this continues. They don’t provide special services that help your business, they simply consolidate grants in one platform. RUN
Keep trying to process payment even though I canceled
I canceled this subscription and it’s like locked in on my phone tryna force another payment. I can’t update nothing on my phone I even deleted the app nothing helps. I can’t afford this app and haven’t won any grants so I had to eliminate this expense bc everything cost now on this platform.

Skip is not good
First of all I would like to say that Skip is a scam! They took $179.99 out of my account without any notice or authorization twice! As I dispute the transactions with the bank did no good it has been two in a half months of non stop emails about my refund and lies I still have not received any of my money back ! If you are thinking about signing up for skip make sure you read all of the fine print because they will get you!
SAVE YOUR TIME & Watch your Money
Awful app it steals your money before 7 day trial. Then why would should pay you to just to apply for a grant that is technically free money…. This app is a SCAM because it should never be a fee for something that’s not even a sure thing.

I got the app because i needed to get a driving test so I got the app and they didn’t get me an appointment but when i looked after I already paid 100+ dollars for the app I found appointments that could’ve been booked. They steal your money and don’t provide any service don’t trust this app it’s a scam!!!
They cancel appointments if you don’t renew
Make sure you renew your subscription if your DMV appointment is beyond the Skip renewal date. Seems vindictive and unprofessional, but that’s what happened to me. Certainly because they didn’t let me know they were going to do this.
Bait
If the option to continue without an account is an option, don’t bait me and dishonestly require make me give you my info. I won’t do it before you prove to me there is actual value in your app.
Garbage Sloppy App
Not easy to navigate filled with information you can just find on Google. Their team is unresponsive and unhelpful, I paid for the premium option and never received any one on one help for anything. Very disappointed that anyone would set up a company, take payments, under the guise of helping people and not follow through.
Avoid
It has been three days waiting for them to make an appointment for DMV, for driver license replacement. I visited yesterday in person and finished in hour and a half.
Waste of time an money. Government sites should not allow such apps to run their services.

Skip cancelled my service but not able to refund
Skip cancelled my day of service because they didn’t have an employee to provide the service but they were not able to provide my refund.
Will upgrade your plan without consent
I closed my business down several months ago and with that canceled all my memberships. Tell me why after all the time I get an email saying that I have now upgraded to Skip Plus (I didn’t) and then automatically started charging me for an upgrade I didn’t do. This service was the least useful service I used as a business owner hence why I canceled the plan months ago. It’s predatory and unacceptable.
I think their AI is glitching
This is a grant company yet they keep asking me for money!! I haven’t won a single grant yet after applying for at leasstttt 60 instant grants. I also apply for regular grants, no luck yet. For their instant grants, I believe their AI rotates the same names. I finally gave in and was finally able to update my account to skip plus (which of course i had to pay) and again I’ve yet to win a grant. I could’ve taken this money to republish my website if that’s the case. I paid for skip plus, for them to charge for grants lock, for them to charge for a business website which they now made the purpose of their instant grants. I don’t have a website so I can no longer apply. Smh
Ripoff
I have found Skip to be a ripoff company. I am trying to stop them from taking funds from my account and they still do. Maybe others are benefiting from them, I see no hope. I just want them to cancel my account and refund my money taken out for June ‘24. Maybe I may have to report the matter to the FTC to get some form of assistance.
