It is bad enough that out of four players in an online game there is ALWAYS one that is a bot. More often more than one. Now, with the update, it is even more obvious / difficult to win. The use of bots is so obvious. One bot will completely set up the next bot to play / win. The greediness of the developers is egregious. DELETING.
False charges
I just got 3 false charges to my bank. I do occasionally make purchases in games, but not this month. My budget is way too tight. New to this game and in app purchases require multiple steps including a finger print 😡😡😡
problem
At first, I thought the game was fun. But then I ran out of money to play online, so I had to play offline. But offline, it's impossible to win. These bots are probably programmed to have all the cards they need. But I don't have any cards I need. I've tried to plan my moves and tactics, but it doesn't work. As soon as I think I'm going to win, the bot suddenly has all the cards it needs and clears its deck. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem, and I'm stupid, but it's really annoying.
New changes lost me…
I used to love this game, but they just made some new changes and now it kicked me out of my account and the account logins are all screwed up and it wants me to create a new account so after messing with it for an hour, I’m just gonna delete the game…. Too bad they don’t have better support….

Beware!!!
I loved the game enough to pay the $6.99 upgrade for no ads. My iPhone had to be reset as a new phone and I had to reinstall the app. When I contacted SkipBo to reinstate my upgrade, provided the receipt for my purchase, which matched my email address with Apple. They said they could not find my purchase because I only played offline and even though I downloaded the app from the Apple Store AND provided the Apple receipt, they said that didn’t prove I owned the account and they would not honor the upgrade to the reinstalled app. Greed for $6.99
Probably the worst game
Absolutely horrible. The game is rife with bots, ads, lags, and ridiculous mechanics.

Why do I need points to play a card game
I don’t understand why I would need points and coins just to play a card game. I found out about this game recently and I loved it and decided let me see if they have one online. But now that I’m playing why would I need coins just to play a card game now that I don’t have any I can’t play a single game? And why is it 2000 coins just to play? This ridiculous this is why no one wants to play these games online because of the ridiculous rules and point system. Take more points away than you make and left high and dry when you don’t have anymore. Can’t we just play like a regular card game? Why do I need to purchase coins just to play. Just going to delete it and re start again which is bogus. Might just say f it and never play online again. Straight up ridiculous.

Fun game, but the constant ads are ridiculous. I gave up at one point and purchased a small “ad free” option. It still gave me ad obstacles and had a stupid time limit. This game handcuffs you to gain coins, but then constantly takes them away. Deleting the app. They ruined a fun game & made it a brainless activity.

Fine if you like bring cheated. The cards are not randomly dealt if you play offline. Computer players consistently have 5,6,8, or more cards in sequence.

When playing the computer offline it seems like their cards are always In order. It takes the fun out the game when that happens. Maybe fix the system so the cards come out completely random.

Playing against the bots has to be the worst thing you can do in this game. I’ve literally went several rounds without getting the cards I need, while the bots get to play long turns or get everything they need to turn it around and win. This game cheats.
The algorithm is messed up
Really bad algorithm. It makes the game really annoying. If you win, then EACH comp will have to win. The recognizable pattern of knowing who will win is frustrating. The game will continually deal you the same cards over and over once you win. If you win, you will continually receive doubles, or triples of the same cards after you play, while the computers will run out of a 10 card stack in 1 or 2 rounds, and when it’s “your turn to win” you can do the same. I think the devs were going for “challenging” but the recognizable patterns are bad. DON’T waste $$$ on no ads

Skip -Bo
I know this complaint will not get nothing done, but I’m still going to vent. This game is horrible. You cannot ever play this game except for certain hours of the day. You cannot play this game between 5 AM till 4 PM and be able to win. All this game does is eat all your coins. I just played the same set. Five times and never won that set. So that 1200x5=6,000 coins. This is ridiculous. And the stupid little other games that they add to this to try to win coins is absolutely stupid.

If you don’t spend money or points this game becomes rigged for the avatar to win. It doesn’t even come close to a real Skip-Bo card game - the avatar having frequent successions of cards, sometimes winning in just a couple turns. If I want a fighting chance I have to go play and use up a lot of points and then the game turns miraculously in my favor. It’s BS.

I really just wanted to play good old traditional Skip-Bo like I played with my daughter when she was young.

Free…at a cost
You can call this “free” all you want, but it’s very disingenuous. It’s designed to be an objectively poor experience so that you have incentive to spend money on coins to make it tolerable. There used to be an official Skipbo game on the App Store that let you do a 1-time purchase to play ad free. It was pure Skipbo, designed purely for enjoyment. I bought it…it was great. Then It was removed and replaced with this, and I will never spend a single cent to support this anti-consumer approach
Not impressed
I love this game. It’s a fun way to kill time. But the amount of tokens to play the game keeps going up higher and higher but the tokens they give you doesn’t. Without spending your own money. Which I ended up wasting on the game and didn’t even get more money to play more rounds. Very disappointed

Fun game but too much monetization
Great game but in game monetizing ruins the experience. A lot of ads, most specifically pushing in game items/currency. Higher levels are winnable unless you buy into their stuff and I’ve had to retry levels wasting the coins I earned. Fun game but the hardcore pay to win setup ruined it for me.

Not a fan of the bots, they make it where they constantly win even if ur ahead, its very easy to get frustrated. Skip-Bo irl is way better

Disappointed
I’m a old pro at Skip Bow and let me tell you when you you want to reverse you should be able to reverse when you’re able to, but this game did not allow me to reverse. It insisted I play the number. It wanted me to play instead of going backwards and you should be able to do that I deleted it immediately. I’ve been playing Skibo since I was 13 years old. I’m now 58. And this was a very, very big disappointment.
JUSTICE FOR ONLINE PLAYING
Make the event rewards for winning online!!!!! The adventure levels aren’t even skip Bo. Let us play skip Bo!! And we should be able to get rewards for playing online instead of never having enough coins. So many people would pay to have the extra rewards pass if it counted on your online games!! So frustrating. If not that then make the adventure levels not cost coins. Do energy like phase 10.

I really enjoyed playing Skip-Bo at first. The gameplay is fun, relaxing, and a great digital version of the classic card game. Because I was playing it so much, I decided to purchase the ad-free version to support the game and improve my experience.
However, since upgrading to ad-free, the game feels noticeably different. I seem to lose much more often than before, which makes it feel less balanced and more frustrating. In addition, the option to earn free coins by watching ads, which used to be offered fairly regularly, is now only available very rarely.
It’s disappointing because I genuinely enjoy Skip-Bo and was happy to pay for a better experience. I just wish the gameplay balance and coin rewards felt as fair after upgrading as they did before. I hope the developers can look into this.

It’s not Skip-Bo
The apps name is “Skip-Bo…but you can’t even play actual skip-Bo without playing some other childish number matching game and earning coins to be able to spend on matches. The animations are great, the art work is great, the themes are cute…I want to play skip-Bo without having to earn coins or buy them. Change your name if you want the primary focus to be that weird counting game.
At this point there’s no reason for me to even keep the app because I play a match and then have to wait forever for the free coins to reset…which is only ever enough to play 1 more match.

Not fun
Love the skip-bo card game but this isn’t that at all. It has things in this title that is off brand so much that it has me wondering why. They have restaurant game instead of a card game. They do have a small area where you can play skip-bo with real people but it cost real money to do so. Like pay hundreds of dollars each week to play a card game for fun? There is a free to play area vs the computer but you never win ever. The computer cheats so bad. This is really not fun at all. And very disappointing in the skip-bo brand for making this title.
TOO MANY ADS!
I love this game but the amount and length of ads have gotten out of control! I spend more time waiting for ads to end then I do actually playing the game. It has totally ruined the game for me.
