Won’t refund for subscription cancellation
Stay away from this app!!! Once you subscribe, they will store your payment method and automatically renew next time without noticing you. There is no way you can get your money back even though I have contacted them so many times through Email. They just ignore your emails. This is the true story happened to me. Stay away from it!!!!

Sometimes you can’t afford $60… really obnoxious not to offer a monthly option.
Scam
I have canceled my subscription and not renewed it and they will not stop trying to pull money from my account. DO NOT GET. I had to get a new card because they wouldn’t stop charging me. They still try to charge me almost every single day
Horrible experience
Worst app I’ve ever used to assist in piano practice. I don’t think a further explanation is needed, simply use the app and you’ll understand.
Literally useless
Wow literally got a new piano for Xmas and excited that it had a 3 month free trial, but as I enter the code to begin my trial I learn that it just gives you a discount for 3 months and not for free. Also to add just giving people one small beginner lesson for free then having the rest behind a pay wall is stupid. People are better off just going off a YouTube video.

i downloaded the app and i can hardly play anything without having the subscription, which i cannot buy since my parents will not let me, and im beginner level 2 and all i can play is happy birthday and left hand of yellow. please add more songs that do not need the subscription.

Buggy mess with pushy sales tactics
I recently bought a piano and it came with an offer for three free months of this service.
Signed up and downloaded the app. Immediately started running into bugs.
First, I started a lesson and watched it. When it came time to advance to the next steps, the app started showing a retry button for some error. Retried multiple times and even reinstalled and started the class over. Same nonsense. What makes it worse is that when I back out of the error view and try to continue the class, it shows me the wrong class. This also happened repeatedly.
I’m a software architect in Silicon Valley tech running this on an iPad Pro M4 13”. This is not me or my device. This is 100% multiple, reproducible bugs in this mess of an app.
While trying to find a workaround, I accidentally tapped on some live lesson section and then couldn’t get out of it. Conveniently enough, the book a class and watch video buttons worked fine, but the X to close this sales view didn’t work, with finger or Apple Pencil.
I had to once again reinstall to get out of this view
They may have some good lessons, but I can’t abide UI breaking bugs and detest aggressive sales.
I will not be using any of the three months and will cancel to make sure these people don’t bill me.

Lying about prices
Absolutely despicable - charging absurd prices every few months after advertising one price at sign up.
Can’t even use it.
I just got signed in and haven’t even started a lesson. It showed me a quick video, and when it was over I pressed next, but it kicked me out and put me back on the home screen of my iPad. I had to rewatch the video and try again, but the same thing happened. So I tried one more time and it wouldn’t load. I don’t recommend for iPads, but their YouTube videos are good.
Do NOT PURCHASE
The app STOPPED WORKING after 2 lessons. I followed the instructions given to me to ask for a refund and there is NO REFUND AVAILABLE. As a single mother with limited funds the financial strain on us is real. My son is profoundly gifted and since I cannot afford piano classes I choose this. I also made this choice over the note poplar simply piano just to give an underdog a chance.
I regret it wholeheartedly.

Unknown recurring annual subscription
$150 bucks for a recurring annual subscription - no notification of the impending charge from Skoove, no emails to remain relevant. We haven’t use their service for the last 2 years. I only found out about the rip-off by discussing with my credit card contact. I placed a stop payment for any future charges and want to talk with someone at Skoove who can give me a domestic contact number.
I hate this app
I was looking for piano lessons to do but it made me get premium to do so and I was looking for them to be free just go on YouTube at this point
Be forewarned before signing up for the trial…
I signed up for the trial for a week, understanding that I needed to cancel in time or else be charged $150. However, the subscription was not listed in iOS under settings for an easy cancelation. No problem, I go online to cancel. When I press the button to cancel I get an “Oops! We’re sorry, but something when wrong” message. I’d bet money there won’t be any errors for their payment system when they try to charge for that $150 in a few days. Also worth noting, the program doesn’t even work with my out-of-tune piano, so kinda a double failure.

Stay FAR away if you’re a new leaner
This is the worst possible way to learn piano. As a music teacher of 25 years, I’m SHOCKED at the horrible habits this app teaches you. You might memorize a few songs with this, but this will never teach you how to play piano. Look for apps like Simply Piano that actually utilized musicians and teachers in development.

Crashes
Well I want to use this on my PC and my web browser however that's no longer an option. Well I don't have an ipad, So I'm left playing piano using the tiny screen on my phone. Not only that, I have the newest iphone pro and it crashes within 3-5mins every single time I use the app. I have 3 months free., Well that's completely useless now
Never download this app
Never ever ever download this app because you have to buy premium just to even play it anymore so don’t even try to. I was trying to learn piano and I kinda did every single one that I that I downloaded like. Just you had to buy premium. It’s just so stupid if you’re an adult yeah you can buy it but I’m a kid. I’m not allowed to buy premium until I’m in don’t adult and also I don’t really know, but I’m just using record, but just never ever ever buy this app.
Why pay?
I don’t want none of that “I’m sorry for your bad experiences with the app” you have to pay! Not to mention that it’s expensive! $149.99 for 1 year. Why can’t it be like $9.99 a month instead of $29.99 people are greedy now! I want to play my piano, with help, for free. I understand you need money, but don’t make it expensive! Maybe $9.99 a month! Or $4.99 a month! And for a year, times 12x $4.99 or $9.99 and that’s how much you pay! This is an horrible app! It said I had to pay premium….
I added this because I wanted to play piano so after the first lesson it was good and I liked it and then to continue it said I had to do premium! And premium cost a stupidly big amount just to play piano! so I thought that’s is so stupid so I tried to do a lesson with a real person but it said that it had to refresh iso I turned off on on restarting my Wi-Fi and it still said it couldn’t work so I decided to take my anger out by playing the entertainer and writing a mean review.
Charged without consent
I tried the app once with the free trial, attempted to cancel long before the trial was over. The process to do so was unclear, but I thought I was successful. Today I was charged the full cost of a subscription. I’ll be happy to update if I receive a full refund.
They are a scam
My daughter have been using the app since April and a few days ago she got kicked out of the app and I can’t login anymore. I paid premium subscription 149.99 for a year and now it is not working and their customer service is useless. They don’t give a solution.

Extremely unbalanced
When I first went into it, it was immediately throwing sheet music at me without me having to look it over and I already learned moonlight sonata and I couldn’t change the song. Also it only hears like half the notes and makes me redo things when because I was half a beat off.

The lessons and songs are broken down in a decent way that makes sense. Going through different parts by hand and then together.
The AI video lessons are really bad and they repeat about the same 5 throughout the app. So you don’t get any meaning I’ll instruction through the app.

Concept vs Execution
It has a good concept but the Execution is pretty butt it couldn’t keep up with my piano for some reason so I had to keep pressing notes aswell as the fact that it doesn’t make it easy to memorize the notes im playing either

This app is great for learning piano songs but,almost every song and lesson requires you to get the premium subscription like why should you have to pay to learn piano songs but if it didn’t have that issue it would be a amazing app for learning piano
Poor sound feedback
The app cannot follow along with the notes I am playing. And you cannot skip a lesson so if the app cannot hear you playing, then you’re stuck in the same lesson. Super disappointed in paying for an app that gets me nowhere.
I couldn’t even get in
I downloaded the app because i’m trying to learn the piano and there are supposedly no ads in this app. I downloaded and it wouldn’t stop showing the loading screen at the sign up page after i clicked sign up with google. I’m deleting. Will download again if someone knows how to fix this.
