Frustrating Design & Execution
Frustrated by the app, it took me 6 months to be able to successfully join my family’s calendar after endless invites and attempts to join, every time I open the app it goes to the ADD DEVICE prompt, will it ever stop? Why can’t this be a sub menu under settings in a HB navigation or menu? Can the screen fonts be smaller or adjusted as desired ? Because everything is so gigantic making the experience gimmicky and unpleasant
This App Sucks
The calendar works great but this app sucks. When the app actually wants to work it’s amazing! But I’ve had to deleted the app 3 separate times because it wouldn’t allow me to log in or modify anything on my calendar. After deleting and redownloading the problems go away but come back again a month or so later. Very inconvenient and aggravating.
Unable to use app on iOS device after latest update
Logged out after the latest update and no way to log back in. Would like to add recipes for the week from my device, but can’t now. Makes the yearly subscription pointless.
Won’t log me in
The app was great till they discontinued the old app version and made me update it. Now I never stay logged in and when I enter my username and password it says logging in and never does!! So frustrating since I use the app so much! They need to fix this issue. I deleted and reinstalled it and it worked a couple times and now is doing the same thing!!
Can’t login
Can’t login in on app anymore. It’s been days
New update stinks
After last update it doesn’t let me log in even after providing correct credentials and just pulls up login screen again, I wouldn’t had updated but it sai version doesn’t work anymore, hate that when you pull up an app to use and it forces you to update and make new login
ALWAYS A BUG AND SOMETHING WRONG
this app literally sucks, as i’m changing the times for my event, if i do something it doesn’t like or completely change the start time to something else, it automatically changes the whole time to a random freaking time and even changes the am to pm or vice versa. and just TODAY it started a NEW bug. i press the day of the week/date just as i normally do, and every single time it automatically starts creating the event for the date right after. for example i press tues 4/28, and it goes straight to creating an event for 4/29. it just started today that, but has had SO many bugs for the past few months and i got this app so me and my family could know each other’s schedules. we’re deleting it and trying a different one because this is ridiculous
Lifesaver
I have poor health and have to keep track of several doctor appointments, all along trying not to schedule my appointments on the same day as my parents appointments. Skylight has made it possible for my family and I to keep all of our appointments coordinated and clashing with each other.
App no longer allowing uploads
I don't know what changed. The app was working for adding photos. Now it just freezes, I can't add anything. I've tried from multiple devices. I've tried uninstalling. Ridiculous.
App is so buggy
We love our skylight calendar but we’ve had it for 4 months and the actual app on the iPhone is terrible. The app freezes and crashes constantly and won’t allow us to send any photos to our calendar. Fairly expensive piece of home equipment to have without a functioning support app.
Nice Photoframe
The physical item seems well constructed. Does not connect at all correctly to your iCloud calendar information and duplicates information where it doesn’t belong. Customer Service has been nice enough to NOT respond to any attempts to contact to fix the issue. If you’re looking for a nice and expensive photo frame to hang this is your item. Highly suggest looking else where if you are looking for a quality family hub.

Really want to love it but…
Not everyone in our family needs to see everyone’s events or appointments. We really wish we could use this for all our calendars so that we only have to login to one. We can see work events and family events but not everyone needs to see work events or doctors appointments or things that might not be necessary for others. So, this desperately needs a private to profile option so that I can choose what others in my family see and for others to have some sense of privacy as well. We used FamilyWall for many years and loved it for that future and it looks like we’ll have to go back.

They $100 a year so I can see my photos on their screen. Do yourself a favor and buy an iPad to keep in your kitchen. Ridiculous…
App worked great until update
I loved using this app to send photos of my family to grandparents across the country. The app worked flawlessly uploading pictures within seconds until the most recent update seems to not accurately or quickly upload photos and videos to the frame. Please fix this.
Buggy and difficult
The app consistently crashes, e.g. failing to upload photos. It’s also annoying that when you add a start date to an event, the end date doesn’t auto-update to that same date. And it’s bizarre you have to type in the start time for events rather choosing from a list.
Great idea, poor execution
Terrible user experience. I resorted to using AI to fill in events. Even then, 1/3 of the time it has to try again because skylight tries to put it on the wrong date. So, it isn’t just me.
