SCAM APP
Thought this was the official app for connecting my HP printer because the name is incredibly similar and says it’s for HP. Definitely tricked me. Tried to connect my printer after PAYING the $59.99 per year cost (since it was cheaper than the $9.99 PER WEEK choice) thinking that’s what I needed to do to use my printer on my phone just to not have it connect to my printer at all. It couldn’t even find my printer. I asked the app for a refund since it wouldn’t even find my printer and I got an automated reply saying they don’t give refunds, take it up with the App Store. It’s an IN-APP PURCHASE. I tried replying and they sent the same automated reply. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

I buy the printer, and am then forced to buy a subscription for ink. And now a subscription to this as well? I will never own another HP product again. Disgusting cash grab. I don’t even know how to turn this subscription off. They hide it in the app.

Downloaded this app because the sticker on my printer said “download the hp smart app” so I assumed this was the official app. I’m not sure if it even is - regardless, the FIRST thing it does is ask “may we share your data across companies?” then hits you with a paywall saying $9.99 per week. per WEEK. lol. That’s a hard No and No from me, don’t bother wasting your time with this app I immediately deleted it

Why do I have to pay anything at all when I’ve already purchased a Wi-Fi capable product and only want to use an app to print from anywhere occasionally? It’s stupidity. I’ll pick a different company next time.
A very disappointing company called Hp
Hp printers are the worst. The Ink cartridges come 80% empty so one is forced to use the app with a $40 subscription a month to print in a foolish format!!! I will throw out the stupid printer in the morning and delete this non-user friendly app!!

This is the worse printer ever. You have this stupid app that needs to be downloaded and it’s the most frustrating thing to use. All I want to do is scan multiple pages and print them out using the feeder and can’t figure it out. I’ve downloaded multiple HP apps and nothing seems to work for me. Although HP has on each app that you can pay $59.99 a year to upgrade the app. HOW ABOUT JUST MAKING A PRINTER THAT DOESNT NEED A SO CALLED SMART APP AND JUST LETS YOU MAKE MULTIPLE COPIES STRAIGHT FROM THE PRINTER INSTEAD OF USING YOUR PHONE.

I used to have this when it was free but it deleted itself and I had to reinstall just to find out I have to pay a month subscription just to print from my phone! Even with it being a free trial it’s still ridiculous and not worth it!!
