This app used to be amazing, then somewhere along the line everything is guarded by a paywall. If someone else hasn’t used the sound, you cannot create a cover unless you pay $8 USD per week. In this economy??

I was on the app and my phone was acting up so I signed out now it keeps saying that yall are having issues with your server and to check my internet connection and I know my internet is working so I fix it
It deleted all of my recordings
I’m not pro. Had recordings from a long time ago. They’re all gone now. Just re-deleted the app. It’s gross to delete people’s stuff. No reason for it. Definitely didn’t motivate me to pay for this again.

Playback Timing and Speed with Bluetooth is awful
With the growing lack of wired headphones and such, you would think they’d improve the Bluetooth capabilities by now. This app seems to be going backwards with advancements. Not sure if I’ll resubscribe.

1. $10/weekly subscriptions- why would an app bill you weekly?
2. App says contact Apple for refunds when they are fully aware Apple will not entertain refunds
3. No processes in place to measure actual usage in an account and offer refunds for unused subscriptions- Is this app living in 2026?

Recorded sound is broken, distorted
Since iPhone 15 Pro Max and now iPhone 17 Pro Max… any recording I attempt on Smule is broken and distorted… I’m not able to record any songs in Smule… tried everything as prescribed by the Smule and AI suggested methods and even YouTube tips… nothing is working… the recordings are broken and distorted… brand new phone(s) too… using the same JBL headphones I’ve always used prior to iPhone 15 Pro Max and now iPhone 17 Pro Max… voice memos are perfectly fine! … calls are also fine… only on Smule recordings my voice is broken and distorted, even while singing and in test mode before attempting to sing… please FIX THIS!

Smule is dumb. If you want to sing a song that isn’t popular you need to pay for a vip membership, and If you want to sing by yourself not in a duet with a random person you need to pay for the vip membership.
Makes you pay for most songs
You can’t sing for free unless you sing in a duet and I don’t want to do that for more then %90 of the song you need to pay for

This app is terrible, as i just downloaded this app i already have to pay just to sing by myself. If they want money just have adds so u could get money from them while people are about to sing don’t make people pay just to sing this is why this app have no one using it. I am disappointed and i will not be ever be using this app ever again i suggest u just stick to an app that can actually let u sing with not having to pay just to sing one songs.

your free trial took money straight out of my bank account instantly. no i didn’t forget to cancel it, no i didn’t owe any money. straight up robbed me in a time of need when all i wanted was to have fun. didn’t even end up using it because that’s how i found out the app isn’t for me. hm almost like that’s what the “FREE” trial should’ve been for.

All trended recommendations and duet of the week are all bogus;has to be an ambassador or have to have massive followers;and foremost some are free vip user from Smule;I was hoping this will get the attention of whoever works on that department.Time to show the paying user that this app is fair and for everyone maybe this will boost the Smule revenue.Shameful because most are working hard also for the fun and acknowledgement.

I like it back in a dish when you can save the video to your phone now you cannot do that. Why would you guys do that?
