Missing Features- Bring them back!
I've been using Soda for a while, but after the latest update, I noticed that some of the features I loved are now missing. The ‘Natural,’ ‘Soft,’ and ‘HD’ options are no longer available in the enhanced filters, which is really disappointing. These features were a big part of what made the app stand out. Honestly, if these features aren’t brought back, there's no need to renew my subscription. Please restore the app to its former, better version!

Don’t bother downloading this app . It’s a bust . It will allow you to apply effects and then you go all the way and film a video and then won’t allow you to save it to your gallery without paying for “VIP” effects . What a rip off it allows you to film your video but then demands a 39 dollar payment before you can save your video . So don’t get ripped off by this Chinese b s . It’s garbage !

Don’t bother. If you’re looking for something without a paywall, this isn’t it. Absolutely ridiculous app. Basically every single thing is behind a paywall, only 2 options or so are free. Ironically though they let you preview the “premium” ones, but then when you try to use them it comes up with a pop-up demanding your money. And additionally, the ai is just…bad. It smooths things to a stupid degree to where it is obvious you have a filter on and you look smooth like a fish.
And one last suspicious thing is that the app “Snow” has the same exact layout and filters which is sketchy. $39.99 a year to look like a fish? No thanks 🙃

Don’t waste your time. You have to purchase everything! There’s no preview or anything it’s just another money hungry app that uses nothing but Ai when you can find it for free elsewhere!

Too many glitches and trial ends in 2 days ! CANT use this app so far - not to where I’d want to share or upload for sharing ! 👎🏻🫣🥺😢앱이 제대로 작동하지 않고 짧은 영상 중간에 메이크업이 완전히 사라져요. 1년 구독하기 전에 체험판을 사용하려고 하는데, 만족스럽지 않아요! 게다가 몸에는 피부 매끈하게 하는 효과가 전혀 없고 얼굴만 매끈하게 해 주고, 피부 전체를 매끈하게 하는 기능도 없어요. 무료 체험 기간이 끝나기 전에 이 문제를 해결해 주세요. 안 그러면 이런 버그가 없는 다른 소프트웨어나 앱으로 옮겨가서 그동안 고생해서 만든 결과물을 다 날려버려야 할 것 같아요. 감사합니다!

Remotes no longer work
This was my favorite app. I used it just to adjust lighting while taking photos so I didn’t need to edit anything.
But recently, my remotes no longer work with the app. Using a remote will trigger the volume buttons on my phone instead now. I have 3 different remotes and have tried them all and none work. But they work with other apps just fine.
It’s very frustrating. Please fix this or give me a fix for it. Otherwise I can no longer use this app.

You have to pay now in order to store the pics you take, making it no longer a free app (downloading and installing it are for free, but everything else is subscription-based that costs either a monthly or annual fee).

So they're selling scans of your face to facial recognition software companies. Just fyi in case you're not comfortable with that.

I recently subscribed to the 7-day free trial of this app. However, I was unexpectedly charged $31.86 for the annual subscription without any prior notification, such as an email or alert. I believe this charge was unintentional as I was not aware that the trial would auto-renew into a paid subscription. I also think that they should at least notify us for taking the subscription fee with further notice.
Another rental
3 years ago a reviewer delighted that this entire app was free. I could dig through my records and see what I paid, or didn't pay but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a rental then because that was a rare thing. Now every developer thinks they have the perfect app for whatever it is

This app used to be great, but hasn’t functioned properly in WEEKS. I paid for an annual pro version of the app, and haven’t been able to record video AT ALL in an inexcusably long amount of time. No one cares about new hair editing features if you can’t even use the built-in camera. PLEASE fix this bug ASAP, I can’t afford to continually lose content like this.

I love this app n have used it for years. However it used to be totally free until recently. Now I’m not a cheapskate and have no problem paying for a subscription. However I was charged $32.00 for a year subscription when I never consented to pay for one. I was signed up for a free subscription and so when it renewed it automatically renewed me for a paid yearly plan??? Really???
I don’t feel $32 is a bad price even but you can’t just charge people without their consent. I’ve emailed them n haven’t received a reply yet and there is no phone number to call so I’ll probably have to go through apple to get a refund. 🤷♀️

Weird blur effect after taking a photo?
This breaks my heart because I love this app..but after I take a picture (especially when it’s darker lighting) the final result turns into an “ai generated” looking selfie. My hair looks like a painting if that makes sense, and there is this weird blur effect. I left snow because of this, but it is the same way on this app. Is there a way to turn it off?? If not, please fix. I’ve been a vip member for both apps, I’d hate to have to leave :(

Fix the Face Tracking Glitch!!!
This was my favorite app to edit my face on videos I have & it would always work without a problem & now whenever i try to edit it does this weird glitch where the edit will come off & on & off & on again , so I cant use it ): Please fix it! No horizontal video mode
I like all the natural looking Soda filters, Milky, Light, No Filter, those are my favorites. However, there is no horizontal shooting mode supported. Basically if I take a video in horizontal view, both sides would just get cropped, which is super annoying. I noticed it is likely an iOS-only issue, since my other android phone doesn’t have this issue when using Soda taking a horizontal video
