$40 charge yearly to use a speaker you already paid for
This is just ridiculous. These subscription traps are getting out of hand. The customer should be made aware before even buying the speaker that they will have to continue to pay more money in order for the product to remain functional. SMH

I downloaded this App thinking it works with my Sonos speakers. It did not, and I DID NOT need this app. I immediately (writhing 5 minutes) requested a refund and was denied. Wasted money. Do not download this app!!!
Accidental download, no refunds
I thought this was the official updated Sonos app and downloaded it; moving too fast I also accidentally paid $40 (!!) to do so, and have tried every avenue to obtain a refund, including emailing the developer. This has not worked, hence the 1 star review for the deceptive marketing and payment methods.
Warning SCAM stay away
This app will immediately charge you. Make sure you have App Store settings set to require approval for every charge and not just “every 15 minutes”

I accidentally tapped on this app and was immediately charged. Do not be duped tapping on this app! This is not how you adjust your sound free app. I feel like this site is taking advantage of new Sonos owners
3rd Party Scam App
Listed as a free app and charges you a$40 yearly fee DURING ACCOUNT CREATION!! And it didn’t even work with the Sonos.
Terrible and unethical
You have to log into the Sonos account in order to use the Roam 2. But the device doesn’t show up on many devices. Sonos, have you not made enough money without confining your products to the one person named on the Sonos account and then not even allowing a smooth way to maintain access across iOS updates, phone resets etc? This device and app demand far too much investment of time and bother for my taste at least. I recommend you purchase another portable speaker slash ecosystem.

I downloaded this app thinking it was the actual Sonos app as it was the first app that appear in the store, paid the $35 fee just to find out it has nothing to do with Sonos and when I click “contact” it just generates an email that is never answered. I feel scammed and have no idea how to use this app
I Loved Sonos. Now I HATE Sonos. I hope the board fired the over zealous CEO who destroyed Sonos.
I was a huge advocate of Sonos for so many years. I told all my friends they had to get it. I bought Sonos for friends. I own 30+ pieces of Sonos’s hardware. I am so disappointed with the way Sonos works today because of the app that was pushed out for no reason to overzealous CEO who want to make a name for himself. Well, I hope you’re embarrassed Mr. CEO, and I hope you have been fired because you have done a terrible job.

I am pretty literate in apps but I could not figure out how to use this program! How do I add a music source?

While on vacation at rental they have you download Sonos app. I mistakingly downloaded this app vs Sonos s1. Clicking through was unaware of the purchase or subscription

This app has a hidden auto subscription for $39.99, althought the app is listed as a free app. The app does not warn you or indicate you're signing up for an annual subscription. Additionally, you'll assume you can request a refund just on that base alone, but good luck trying. The app store would not do anything about it. Consider this a buyer's warning.

The speaker system performed great right up to the point when they came out with Sonos 2. They were easy to use, add to or move around.
They offered speaker replacement for a cost. My Sonos 5 would not connect at all. So I have eight sonos 1 speakers now one of those speakers will not connect via Bluetooth.
So basically Sonos changed their app and now doing basics to play the speakers is compromised.
Would not recommend buying these speakers because of the lack of support from Sonos.

Every time I try to use this app there’s an issue. Can’t connect to my system, there’s an update queued, something is unavailable, etc. Really buggy software it seems and support does not match the price.

This app is a scam and deserves zero stars. Tricks you into thinking it’s by Sonos. Before you know it they’ve charged your Apple account. Just download the “official” Sonos app. It does everything you need and it’s FREE!

Before I even got through the slideshow telling what it could do, it tried to get me to rate the app. That is NOT how this works. It’s also $40 just to use it so… avoid this like the plague
Feels like a scam
Accidentally downloaded thinking this was the original s1 that have converted into the newest version. Didn’t notice I had clicked on an add that popped up under the $19.99 confirmed flashed and I panicked and tried canceled and even exiting which of course did not stop it. I’ve requested a refund and such and get no reply. Thus far silence.
