Bait and Switch
Did not realize this was automatically going to create a subscription and charged me $9.99 plus tax per week for almost two months. Unfortunately I did not realize as it was subtracting from my Apple balance which I do not monitor that closely. Reached out to Apple to refund who has provided little/no help so far. Read the other reviews! I expect more from this company and Apple!!!

SLOOOOOW! Skip it and get Google Translate
This used to be good, now it just sits and lags on the smallest things. Completely worthless. I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max, so it’s not the hardware.

This is not free at all.
Apps with a seven day free trial should say “free trial” not “get”. After seven days this app cost $10 a week and of course you’re required to put your credit card in to start the free trial, but this is only after you’ve spent some time setting up the app

The request for a review is annoying constant request for a review when I've already are unprofessional and indicate disorganization

The app works well. It translates exactly what’s said, but it does not have punctuation. For the language I use the app for, if there’s a pause or the voice is inflected at the end, it’s a signal that there should be punctuation. Without the punctuation, the entire meaning of what’s said is different. Because of this, I need a new app. I’m paying for this one and that seemingly minor issue is a very large problem. Even the free app I use puts punctuation. I don’t know why this one won’t. And, to make it worse, I am asked to do a review every time I use the app. I am typically using the app in the midst of a conversation. This becomes a problem when trying to communicate with others. I won’t be renewing.

I hate that I can’t use the app without a banner popping up, asking for a review. If the speech to text was worth a damn maybe I would have more time to write you a review? Maybe if a banner didn’t pop up every time I used it I would feel more like sharing my experience. Maybe if it was more affordable and streamlined I would feel like sharing.

Please Fix This App
I would pay for this app if it was reliable. Instead I have to uninstall and reinstall in everytime it closes. If I try to open it after closing, the screen goes white and refuses to load. I know I’m not the first person to complain about this. Fix this and you will make money!!

BEWARE!
The App indicated that it was free. When the short free trial ended, I did not receive a notice. Other trials we have gotten from the App Store warn us right on the App and stop being accessible until you approve the paid subscription. Definitely not the case with this. Before I knew it, I was being charged $7.99 per WEEK without being aware. The App would not work in Greece. We ended up using Google Translate (truly free and super easy to navigate). When we got home, we were stunned to see the charges and Apple would not reverse. For so many reasons, BEWARE! Would NOT recommend!

Never works when you need it
The app would be great if it ever worked when you needed it. I often open the app and the screen turns white and it takes many minutes and several restarts to open properly. I spend so much time standing waiting for the app to open while others wait to engage in communication.

Paid $19.99 for annual subscription and all I get is constant ringing in my blue tooth earphones. Very poor translation capabilities and I’m disappointed

I’m a translator, myself! I do English-Arabic translation and vice versa. I wanted to try an interpretation app that my bilingual family can use, while watching Arabic Tv shows, so that it can enhance their language skills. Translation on this app is TERRIBLE! It is such a SHAME and a DISASTER for all language learners, and/or tourists, travelers , to use anything like this and call it a “translator”!

I am not very pleased with this app. About half the time when I open the app all I get is a blank white screen. I’m paying $99 per year for an app that doesn’t work most of the time. I use it for business so I don’t have time to reinstall it every time I need to use it.

Usually works, except when I really need it to. Slow to translate even when it works.

I got this app because it speaks to translate, but you cannot see what language it could speak until after you buy The app. Once I bought the app, I found out that it did not speak the language that I needed it to speak.. At least it has a trial now.
