Fine application in terms of the software. Horrific, spammy and predatory subscription tactics. While trying to export a video it automatically selects the “premium” video quality, which makes it seem like you need to either purchase the subscription or participate in the so called “free trial” to do so. Took multiple tries to figure out that it was auto selecting the premium feature to try to trick you into subscribing. Sick and tired of these apps using predatory tactics and constant popups. Deleting this app immediately.

Just uninstalled - Ruined a once great app
I’m guessing the original owners of splice sold the app recently, or became extremely greedy overnight. All features that used to be completely free are now paywalled. Incredibly obnoxious pop ups advertising the paid version at every screen. Now requires multiple clicks to select free options because it defaults to paid features. Possibly the most textbook example of corporate greed - create a great free program that people enjoy, then paywall everything and make the experience terrible for all users that do not pay. Pretty sad thing to see happen.

It suck so bad you have to pay for it they are so joowish you can only do 2 projects and rarely you can export them without popular payments

This app is listed as free but doesn’t let you do anything or upload your video without paying a large amount. It should say “in app purchases” so we know.

This app won't let me do more than two videos it is crazy

Was a good app for so many years until everything started having a price. Started just editing on TikTok for free instead might not be as good but for some basic editing here and there I don’t wanna have to pay for a whole subscription that I might not use again
Getting worse
When this app was first released it was perfect. Then they took it all away and made you buy a subscription. Now it’s getting worse as they take the smallest features like transitions away and make it part of pro. Greed

It freezes in the middle of editing. Frustrating

It drops a ton… mystery paused renders won’t finishing rendering have to screw record and render for thier not every time
