All Ads
All in all, this game is great. But it sure gets tiring and frustrating having to watch an ad after every. Single. Level. I get and expect ads since it’s the free version but maybe after every five levels. If I wanted to watch an ad each time just to move on, I would click the watch ad button. This was enough for me to delete the game.
More energy
The ads were crazy having to watch to even get energy to do anything, and now I’m only getting ads every 50 recharge. So I can’t even get any energy to play. Please fix. I love this game, I’d hate to delete it.

The energy ruins the game
The energy runs out in a manner of seconds so there’s no incentive to keep playing the game. You’re asked to build like 5 buildings all at once. You have the coins to build them but no space. To get space you have to literally use DAYS worth of energy just to make space for ONE building. Who created this? Dumb asl. Bye.

It wants u to pay to move on dont buy this is stupid I unlocked kelp city so I should be able to play in it
Used to love this game
But it has not been updated in over a year. No new places on the map and they keep recycling through the same adventures over and over. And probably the worst change is the inability to use the gift of 50% off clearing debris for an entire hour on any other place than your “home” space that is already built. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO CLEAR. In short, this game is fun until you cannot get enough energy to advance, you can’t use any of the perks they give you and you realize they will never update this game. Do not recommend.

P2W Energy Devourer
Take spongebob and throw him into one of those town builders where everything intentionally takes forever and is vastly restrictive of being able to actually play due to the most egregious energy system i’ve ever seen implemented. Unless you’re just looking for a game you can check out once a day, I would say there are way better ones out there.
Holy Money Grab
Be prepared to get spammed with in app purchase advertisements and notifications. It’s also nearly impossible to progress unless you do make in app purchases, very pathetic.

DO NOT TRY TO CROSS SAVE!!
I wanted to cross save this game from my iPad to my phone so I can play when I’m at work but also come home to my iPad so I can see better. This game when I synced my info it back tracked a whole day of progress while also I had a 7 dollar charge I didn’t get to actually use. Being able to save to Facebook while also being able to sign in on your phones saving feature is very misleading and they should have it in their description to not cross save. Instead I had to find out the hard way then I decided to look it up online. This game is 1 device only just because u sign into one and your progress loads one time doesn’t mean you can cross save.
Cost to much
Nothing under 5 dollars and cost to much I spent over 100 on the game already it will take you weeks to pass one level and finish the task terrible and disappointing

I downloaded this game to give it a try because they discontinued SpongeBob moves in and it was such a fun game and this looks similar to it but honestly this game kind of sucks the overall thought of it is fun but when you’re actually playing it, you can’t do anything without losing energy and you need energy for like literally everything you do and you run out in a matter of second and the only way you can get it back is coming back later and waiting however long or watching ads or paying for it which is ridiculous the whole game is using up your energy in a matter of seconds and then waiting however long for it to recharge you can’t do anything without it so boring and so disappointed. I want SpongeBob moves in back that game was way more fun and reasonable.

Honestly wack how much they charge for basically NOTHING this game is going to make me block Apple Pay from my phone because you pay 20$ and get to clear maybe 2 debris. Y’all wack just make a switch game or take notes from a normal game that charges like 2$ for a bunch of $$$ on game

Clean up game. Not a town builder
I tried this game to build a city for SpongeBob and friends. But so far the only thing I’ve done is spend energy to pick up trash with a couple buildings placed. The focus of this game is cleaning areas which is kind of lame.

I finished jellyfish fields & everything, I’m on level 8. It’s saying I need to do a payment to join kelp city & jellyfish fields. What’s up with that..?
More Ads than Gameplay
I spend more time closing ads than playing the game. Ffs stop with the pop-ups, and remove the ad icons from the sides. If I WANT to buy something, I’ll hit the Gem Icon at the top of the screen. I avoid playing daily bc it takes so long to go through the ads. Only reason this game has 2 stars instead of 1 is because I really enjoy it. The game experience is ruined by all the ads and ad-events, and the space lost on the screen to ad-event icons.

I’ve been playing this game for about a month; at least once or twice a day to keep up with the constant updates. When I first started, there were a LOT of pop-ups. I was hoping this would die out as I progressed, like these were all “welcome to the game” deals, but they only grew. Every time I complete a quest, run out of energy (which is practically every 4 minutes), switch locations, go to the store, or do anything significant, I get four different bundles that I would have to pay real money for. For children, this game will probably accidentally cost some money due to the barrage of ads. It feels like I’m shorting my attention span by repeatedly getting the same 5 ads every few seconds. If I could actually play the game rather than clicking off of transactions, I would like it a lot more.

Spongebob almost made me jam everywhere! But an ad blue balled me right before the best moment…

The game is great but really come on! The energy is not enough as you level up, I get that a game is meant to increase more but 375+ energy is INSANE… I love it so much I’ve spent money no lie, but even when I spend money it’s not enough energy… please find a solution for this.
Ridiculous
Starts off fine for the first two levels, but once you reach the Chum Bucket level, forget it. Single tasks cost upwards of 110 energy. Unless you’re willing to pay an exorbitant amount of money for extra energy, the game is pointless.
Needs Improvement
I would love this game & I do love the concept BUT, the “energy” is so frustrating and so hard to get. Also the Man Ray event is impossible & a waste of time which is so annoying. This game is just all about the creators trying to get your money like everyone else.
Long time user
I have been playing for a while, and enjoy it. I have spent money on the app since the beginning. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m further in the game, have already proven I will pay, or because the developers are simply just trying to make more money. But I fee like they make it way harder to get certain items needed in the game and that you have to spend money for some of the challenges. Specifically the Dutchman’s treasure, that now requires you to use pies in many of the tasks. Which let’s face it, you have to spend money to acquire. The Manrays Mayhem Heist doesn’t allow you to pay gems to keep your spot when you lose, which many games do. The last 3 worlds seem to be nearly impossible because they’re so expensive to complete. (In terms of energy, etc.) idk it used to be better. I will still play since at this point I am invested. Figuratively and literally. Over the last few years I’ve been playing this I’m sure I’d be sick over the actual amount of money I spent simply to win 🤣 so they know what they were doing there. Also came back to add that the "45 second" reward that allows you to play an ad to get energy, frequently errors out or they auto show you offers to spend money, and you can't get it on time.
