This app is so buggy it’s insane I can’t get past having sprout revise my resume with AI or not I can’t even get my profile done to start applying to jobs so I don’t understand how this is a top app to apply with if you can’t even start applying to jobs horrible app!
job recommendations are awful
The job recommendations have nothing to do with what you search. I will search “healthcare administrator” mind you that is literally one of their options to choose from. Whenever I search healthcare administrator, it shows me jobs for other industries it will show me automotive hotels, construction, etc. and it shows me senior level director managerial position positions after I literally put that I’m Jr. 📸👨🏾🎨 level at most. I feel like this app is a waste of my time and money.
Scam - avoid at all costs
Unless you have literally 0 competency, you can do better yourself. The one job I matched for (probably because they are VERY obviously AI) said it was 20 minutes from me. Took a phone interview to find it was a totally different position AND out of state, so I looked like an idiot. Job descriptions are inaccurate, and resumes/cover letters horribly written. Hiring teams can tell.

I’m extremely tight on money and will be out of a job in a month. I cannot/will not pay for a subscription THAT expensive. Especially in this case when the whole point is to help people find jobs to make money who desperately need it, not strip them of it.

I can’t stand when apps ask me to leave a rating and review before I even have an opportunity to use it.
No pudding, no proof
The idea behind this app is great but forcing me to pay before proving that it will be even remotely useful is not gonna happen. You need to prove it before I subscribe to ANYTHING. Forcing me to put in a location when I will only consider remote roles is another red flag. And making the address fields required is a huge red flag. Any job application that requires an address is a scam. Legit job applications might ask what state you intend to work from if they aren’t registered in all 50, but wouldn’t need an address until doing onboarding paperwork. So that’s very sketchy.
Also, to potential users: the app asks for a rating during onboarding. So anyone who complied with that request gave a rating based on nothing since they hadn’t actually used the app yet. Keep that in mind if you see a bunch of positive reviews. They aren’t legitimate.

it’s a pay to use situation and you can’t do anything without subscribing. won’t submit any applications unless you pay them. also all their ads are hidden ads which are illegal.

Advertises as thousands of jobs. I the same 3 jobs that are my field that aren’t even close to me.
Stay far away!!!
Negative stars. This will apply to jobs without your final approval, will mess up your work history, needs tons of manual review and any changes made messes up all the formatting. Absolute nightmare, no customer service whatsoever.

Not good for senior roles
I wasn’t able to use the app to apply for anything because all the “matches” were irrelevant. I didn’t find jobs I was actively seeing through other sources and it came up with lots of random opportunities, none of which were good.
No idea how it works
I see the jobs and can swipe through them, but no idea how I can submit an application. There is no button for it

Just downloaded the app rn, opened it and they’re telling me to update the app right from the launch screen??! I mean, I just downloaded you ffs so what update???? And even worse, there’s NO update on the App Store whatever meaning, I can’t get into the app. Thats unbelievable horrific!
Fraudulent Charges
I used this app one time, and I deleted my account the same day, simply because I didn’t need the app anymore.
But even though I deleted my account, my card still continues to be charged the subscription amount. This has been occurring for about 4 months now.

Erased all my credits
I had used this app and subscribed for 600 credits which is $75, took a break from job hunting came back a month later and I have 0 credits!!!!! I haven’t even used any from the last time it charged me $75 this app is a complete rip off!!!! I’ve had better luck applying direct

Why am I leaving a rating before doing anything?
Wouldn’t you want someone to try your platform before leaving a rating? I haven’t even gotten past the setup.

sure the app helps you. research and find jobs in areas just not applying for the job because their a nonnegotiable subscription

App is glitchy and now that it asks for location, jobs no longer appear in the search.

I’m a high school student looking food jobs in retail stores or grocery stores and they didn’t seem to have that option.

No where does it state that payment is required to apply for jobs on sprout, that’s terrible consumer communication

Well, it is easy to apply to jobs just by swiping the issue that I’m facing with this app is that it is not good for certain jobs. I was trying to find trust and safety positions in my area, but it doesn’t even come up as an option for a possible job titles under their search. Furthermore, even when you do apply to a job it gets delayed unless you answer their questions. You should just submit the résumé.

Wouldn’t know if this app is worth it because it won’t let me review or apply to jobs without a membership…and if I’m not working and have no money to do that how can I even attempt to see if it’s worth it. Don’t waste your time downloading unless you want to pay $30-50 dollars a month.
