I can’t stand when apps ask me to leave a rating and review before I even have an opportunity to use it.
No pudding, no proof
The idea behind this app is great but forcing me to pay before proving that it will be even remotely useful is not gonna happen. You need to prove it before I subscribe to ANYTHING. Forcing me to put in a location when I will only consider remote roles is another red flag. And making the address fields required is a huge red flag. Any job application that requires an address is a scam. Legit job applications might ask what state you intend to work from if they aren’t registered in all 50, but wouldn’t need an address until doing onboarding paperwork. So that’s very sketchy.
Also, to potential users: the app asks for a rating during onboarding. So anyone who complied with that request gave a rating based on nothing since they hadn’t actually used the app yet. Keep that in mind if you see a bunch of positive reviews. They aren’t legitimate.

it’s a pay to use situation and you can’t do anything without subscribing. won’t submit any applications unless you pay them. also all their ads are hidden ads which are illegal.

Not good for senior roles
I wasn’t able to use the app to apply for anything because all the “matches” were irrelevant. I didn’t find jobs I was actively seeing through other sources and it came up with lots of random opportunities, none of which were good.
No idea how it works
I see the jobs and can swipe through them, but no idea how I can submit an application. There is no button for it

Just downloaded the app rn, opened it and they’re telling me to update the app right from the launch screen??! I mean, I just downloaded you ffs so what update???? And even worse, there’s NO update on the App Store whatever meaning, I can’t get into the app. Thats unbelievable horrific!
Fraudulent Charges
I used this app one time, and I deleted my account the same day, simply because I didn’t need the app anymore.
But even though I deleted my account, my card still continues to be charged the subscription amount. This has been occurring for about 4 months now.

Erased all my credits
I had used this app and subscribed for 600 credits which is $75, took a break from job hunting came back a month later and I have 0 credits!!!!! I haven’t even used any from the last time it charged me $75 this app is a complete rip off!!!! I’ve had better luck applying direct

Works seldomly. Applications keep “failing” due to app issues and you can’t reapply. Everything seems broken. If I try to go to their help/support page, I get an error. If I try to link the cover letter to my PC to edit, I get an error. Will be seeking a refund.

EVERY TIME you swipe right you get hit with an unskippable ad because the x is so small.So I can’t even tell if this is a good app to use to get a job.
Terrible setup
It asked me to fill in my citizenship. I did, and indicated that I was a permanent resident. Naturally I assumed this referred to my status in the USA. Turns out that I was supposed to add US status (permanent resident) separately. After applying for several openings (of which several got rejected already), I found out that it was submitting my applications as “not authorized to work in the US” and that I require a sponsorship for the US. What a waste of time and money.
Misleading
I actually hate how I had to put in so much information in and when I finally found the job I wanted, it requires us to pay. It should have been more upfront about that. I wouldn’t have wasted my time. You’re seriously making people pay for something like this during desperate times?

App doesn’t work
App doesn’t work. All my applications were failed applications and it would not read my pdf resume so I had to manually enter everything. Honestly seems like you guys are just trying to take people’s money.

A waste of time and money, consider other job search resources
This app is carried by social media promotion. The AI generated resumes do not pass AI screening software and the job postings available are repetitive and not enticing. At multiple points I received the same posting anywhere from 5-10 times in a row. I received better leads and more interviews from competitor job boards and utilizing alternative resources. If you are going to pay for a resource during your job search I would absolutely not recommend this one. Your time and money would be better spent investing in a career coach to craft your resume and apply through any other job board or your standing network. Maybe if more positions were posted to this platform it may be better however this current iteration serves to inflate the number of applicants per posting without improving your ability to stand out compared to other applicants. Yes this will save you time, however it will not yield a significant return on investment. Would NOT recommend.

This app swears I’m looking for something other than just anything because I’ve been applying for 3 years and still nothing this app doesn’t work
Poor search and filtering capabilities
I wanted to love this app! But the search functions are inaccurate when loading results, it has not once tailored my resume like it advertised, and out of 41 application I swiped on, only 22 were successful in actually applying either due to old job postings no longer available or the app just wasn’t able to complete the application and doesn’t allow me to even retry that failed application.
I am searching for an HR Business Partner role and that search pops up with ANYTHING with partner in the title, 98% of the search results aren’t even within Human Resources. I can’t filter by job departments and functions, or anything actually useful. It doesn’t accurately filter by location either. Very few and poor results for HR. This is a really big disappointment.

Bad in every possible way
App close when I try to check the notifications every single time, if you want to search for jobs it says 0 found, 90% of the time if you don’t look for the exact tittle of the role as the company posted, which is ridiculous. A waste of money.

I’ll just say one thing and one thing only. Why the hell are they charging $30 PER WEEK It’s one thing if this app guarantees a job within two weeks, but some of us don’t have jobs and you’re charging $30 a week that’s insane all I’ll say is I have been using this for two weeks and I’m going to stop using it because some of us don’t have $30 a week to just throw away and there’s no job in sight not even an interview

App is glitchy and now that it asks for location, jobs no longer appear in the search.

I’m a high school student looking food jobs in retail stores or grocery stores and they didn’t seem to have that option.

No where does it state that payment is required to apply for jobs on sprout, that’s terrible consumer communication

Well, it is easy to apply to jobs just by swiping the issue that I’m facing with this app is that it is not good for certain jobs. I was trying to find trust and safety positions in my area, but it doesn’t even come up as an option for a possible job titles under their search. Furthermore, even when you do apply to a job it gets delayed unless you answer their questions. You should just submit the résumé.

Wouldn’t know if this app is worth it because it won’t let me review or apply to jobs without a membership…and if I’m not working and have no money to do that how can I even attempt to see if it’s worth it. Don’t waste your time downloading unless you want to pay $30-50 dollars a month.
