So having no clue there’s a subscription and money involved, you download the app and immediately are brought to a screen to pay for a subscription. A SUBSCRIPTION?!?! FOR WHAT?? I already have Starbucks rewards. No where from the Insta reel I found this to the App Store I downloaded it from did they mention a subscription or fee. Also no way to make sure you’re interested in what’s offered or in the app before giving up your money. It comes off self-serving and greedy. Most of all, it’s I’ll-mannered and tasteless because it comes off as another app/website/subscription you have to pay $6.99 WEEKLY for and one you’ll likely forget your paying while they are laughing all the way to bank taking our money!!!!

This app is a huge scam, $10 A WEEK to look at starbucks recipes you can literally find online! Its really stupid, I can see in all the bad reviews that you do it to keep the app ad free but in this case I think we would all rather prefer ads than having to pay $10 a week with money that could go somewhere better other than some dumb secret menu app

I downloaded this app because of how I LOVE Starbucks a lot and go a lot so download the app and it ends up wanting a subscription ofc like right when you download the app first thing u have to do is do a subscription before anything really got excited for nothing

It looks like it’s gonna be a free app and only some drinks will be available until you pay but NO as soon as you open the app it asks you to pay for the drink recipes! You can’t look at anything into you pay $10 per week! Not only is the app a scam the price is waaaaay too high. Use a different FREE Starbucks secret menu app.

I hate apps like this. Most aggravating thing in the app store. It’s not free, it wastes your time and draws you into a 4 minute time drain just to beg you to subscribe, and to what? a recipe book? Nobody with 10+ brain cells is paying a monthly subscription for that. Otherwise, the app is just a banner ad with a prompt for you to pay. Save yourself some time and don’t bother downloading.

When I first downloaded this, I was really excited to learn about new secret drinks, and maybe find a new favorite. BUT NO,THIS APP DISAPPOINTED ME. You can’t see a single drink without paying a subscription. I was expecting a couple drinks to cost something like you would need to get something like VIP. I would not recommend this app to anyone. I use an app that has the same idea. It’s called “Secret Menu” NoT sPoNsOrEd!!

i was really excited to use this app and show up with a cool, new, delicious drink! but NO. this app is free to download, and lures you into thinking only a few drinks are locked and it’s fine i’ll just get the other ones. BUT. NO. you can’t do ANYTHING without paying a relatively high subscription for an app with recipes i could literally just search for on any social media platform. i do not recommend unless you want to spend a high amount of money on something unnecessary. get a different app

I'm not against subscriptions as long as it's reasonably priced, but that's only part of the issue. The app is "free" to download, yet you can do ZERO without a subscription. I get the developers need to pay for server costs, but not even a free browsing feature (see the drinks, but not the recipes?)

This app is A SCAM targeted at children
I just noticed that I have been charged $5.34 EVERY WEEK for over a year and a half (around $400) because my 8 year old clicked on a link in a video and somehow signed up for “a free Starbucks recipe app” which has been accruing a subscription on child’s account. It doesn’t show up under MY managed subscriptions, but somehow gained access to MY credit card on the account, so if I wouldn’t have randomly noticed that my usual Apple Music charge of 10.99 came up as 10.68 (a charge for two weeks of access to this useless app), I would have never noticed I was being charged against my knowledge. Apple needs to keep predatory apps like this out of their App Store.

This app is way too expensive. At $8.99 a week, it adds up to $467.48 a year, which is ridiculous. If the price were $8.99 per month, it might be more reasonable, but charging by the week is just too much. You can easily find the same Starbucks recipes for free online with a quick search, so paying this much for an app doesn’t make sense. The convenience of having everything in one place isn’t worth the steep cost. There are plenty of free alternatives, and this app just isn’t worth the price.
