I just recently switched from Flo to Stardust. One day I was randomly charged $29.99 on my card and it was declined so I thought nothing of it. Then a week or two later I was charged $29.99 again on my card and it went through. I hadn’t clicked anything on the app that I wanted the premium subscription or anything else. Then I got my money back from my bank company.
INSANELY inaccurate + buggy
Decided to try a "female made" app after being guilt tripped for trying one allegedly made by males (flo). I input THREE years of period info and the predictions were up to 2 weeks off. Recently went back to my original app and the predictions were either 100% accurate or with a 2 day error which isn't as bad as 2 whole weeks off. I knew i shouldn't have switched bc gender doesn't matter but yeah. i'll stick with an app "made by m*n" because it's more accurate than the one "made by females".
Also on the topic of bugs this app has a bunch of them. Takes 5-10 minutes to load, and when it does it constantly freezes and lags and closes itself out.

disappointed me

Crashes every time
Normally I’ve had no issues running the app, I updated my phone & updated my apps now I cannot open the app without it crashing. If not resolved I’ll be switching as I need something reliable. I’ve been a user since 2022 & it’s never done this
Inaccurate
Once i put in my past cycles it stuck to the same time even when it changed like being wrong once or twice is fine but constantly messing up the dates is frustrating

load and inaccurate
the load time into the app is actually so insane. if im trying to just check when my period will come I dont want to look at the loading screen for 45 seconds. its also incredibly inaccurate for ovulation and period predictions.
Billed when I did NOT sign up
Just found a charge on my debit card for $30 that I did NOT agree to. I’ve had the app for MONTHS, used it off and on for free, but was stunned to find TWO invoices in my account that I supposedly signed up for on the “web”. Reaching out to customer service, my bank, and the Better Business Bureau as we speak.

I don’t recommend,This period tracker compared to my other period tracker that I have because I have a few it’s always consistently inconsistent. Needs update
Recent update has broken the app on iOS 26.3.1. Stuck on login screen. It gives me the check mark as if I’ve signed in but stays on login screen
not working
the app automatically signed me out and now it won’t let me sign back in. every time i tap “sign in with an existing account” it says that it signs me in but never does anything afterwards. i really don’t want to start over with a different app :(
Stopped signing me in
I don’t where if there’s any customer support but it just won’t sign me in to my account anymore. I’m stuck on the sign in page no matter how many times I sign in. I have an annual subscription so this is aggravating to me. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing changes.

Doesn’t track irregular periods
My cycle is very long and every time I don’t log my period within stardust’s “normal” range it stops my data all together and doesn’t give me any insights. And when I finally do log my period it says “day x/28” … you would think w all my data it would know that my cycle has never been 28 days. The second issue I have is that it doesn’t recognize that only women can ovulate/get pregnant/get their periods. This app uses weird gender lingo that completely ignores biology and it’s disgusting.

Don’t track
Not adaptive at all. Always seems to think my period is gonna come a week and a half before it actually should, so I have to manual look at my cycle to see when I really should be expecting my period. Very misleading and I’m so done with tracking my cycle with no return.

Ngl I keep seeing these ads like “don’t use Flo it’s made by men. Use stardust made by women for women” but honestly it’s not that great. I stopped using flow because I realized how bad I am at tracking my period also I don’t really want to pay for it. But stardust is the same thing just with moon phases. I started using it because my ex partner convinced me but I don’t believe in the whole moon phases with your cycle yayyyy. No. My experience was the app kept getting my period wrong and things like that (now obvi periods came whenever they want so they can be irregular) BUTTT it would say like “2 weeks overdue” and I don’t think I had gotten my period but yk I don’t think it was 2 weeks overdue probably like a couple days or so idk. And also I didn’t really understand the moon phases.

idk if this happens for anyone else but i inputted all of my previous periods and it predicted a 15 day cycle when usually i have a 24-30 day one. it kept telling me how late my period is and i was just like, what? does this happen for anyone else idk

I don’t like the fact that things that were visible for free are now not only not visible anymore, but, if you want to read them you have to upgrade from $4.99 to at least $6.99 or more if you want to pay annually. Why should we have to pay extra when the info provided is for fun and opinion based? Might be time to switch to a different app.

It will give me black screens after I’ve been on the app for a minute or so, it gets laggy and sometimes freezes, and then a lot of the time the app crashes (and it’ll do this every single time if I’m on the app too long. Then my entire phone gets laggy if I have Stardust open too for some reason?! Like it gets slow, sometimes freezes.. like it’s really weird. I hope they fix the issues soon!
App misfiring
After purchasing the premium subscription to track my pregnancy and upgrading to the iPhone 17 the app will no longer work. It will just shut off. :/ Contacted Apple support in hopes of a refund or help but I’m sad because the app seemed wonderful.

When I first started using this app I loved it. As of lately there seems to be a lot of glitches and just shuts down before it even fully opens. I have checked for updates on the app but none to run. This is very frustrating since I do try and use this app regularly. I guess I will start looking for a new app to help me with my feminine needs.

i thought this app would be atleast decent compared to flo but not really..especially how much they made it look better in ads. the way you have to sign in is kinda crazy. why is there only 1 sign in option??? and the other you can login but obviously i don’t have an account. not all the time my apple id wants to work so this is a no go for me if i can’t even sign in. make better options!!!

It said I had a period two times this month I was confused and went back to flo.
confusing and overdone
I downloaded the app after researching apps that protected users privacy, post the removal of roe v wade. This was highly recommended for its privacy policy, which they also take time to explain when first creating your account. I wish i could like the app as it tries to do many fun things with its design, but it’s all way too much. it uses a confusing horoscope inspired design for absolutely everything, the navigation is confusing as they value aesthetics over clear understandable ui. it’s made it so hard to become familiar with the app, as the very basic things become buried under all the glitz. after switching from my old app and tirelessly inputing years of data, it still miscalculated my period date and I ended up getting my period while out and completely unprepared. let’s not forget the useless daily notifications that say nothing of use. Bought a years subscription on accident so i’m stuck with it. The App could use a redesign for usability, and to perhaps remember that it is simply supposed to be a period app above everything else.
I wish it gave 2014 on the date
Okay so I tried to do the cycle and I did the age thing I was going to do 12/25/2014 and I couldn't do it and it wouldn't let me press 15 on the day and it also said my period is in 56 days?
Infinite luteal phase
I love this app and all the information it gives throughout each day of every phase. But a few months ago at this point, the tracker said my luteal phase would go on until my next period, no ovulating or follicular, just luteal. I tried to fix the glitch by resetting the app, trying to make a new account, deleting it for weeks at a time and coming back, but it’s still tweaking. I can’t find a solution from anything official like on the app from the company, and nobody on Reddit or any other niche has had this issue, I know it can’t just be me with this issue.

I like the fact that the app is made by women and I’ve seen really good reviews but I can’t sign up to get in because I have a teen Apple account so I can’t use Apple to log in so it would be a little better if they just had a sign up with Google option.
