Can I give this “NO” stars?
After an update, the login / account pane is ALWAYS displayed on the left half of the screen, PERMANENTLY taking up 50% of the app’s screen real estate, even AFTER I sign in.
Portrait or landscape, it NEVER goes away.
I used to keep the throughput statistics graph open all the time.
Now, stats are permanently half-size on the right, with that useless sign-in / account info pane taking up the left half.
At least let us toggle this off, OK?

Change your plans as they please
Bring back a 10 GB for $10 to plan. I need 0 to 7 GB a month at normal reasonable speed, occasionally when in motion. All I use is for is back up when out of cell range.
I already under utilize that at $10 a month now you want me to spend $50 a month to use 0 to 7 GB of data on occasion

Horrible DON’T BUY
This has to be the most horrendous WiFi provider on the face of the earth. I ordered a kit from them and it says 1-2 weeks I’ll get it. 2 weeks go by I don’t get it so I call and the rep said that she will fix it. So I go into the Starlink app and now I see that I have two kits in my orders but one is cancelled along with my order for my mini router. Once I got my mini router I was able to get a return label and I sent it back because I got fed up with waiting. Time goes by and the other kit still hasn’t been delivered. Finally today comes and the other kit delivered. I want to return that so I go to get the label and it won’t let me get one because it still says it’s being shipped. I go to look in my orders and it shows the mini kit and that order in the same order but the main kit was cancelled. I’ve been trying for THE LAST WEEK to get a hold of an actual person instead of the dumb AI who just creates tickets but I can never get a human to sort this out. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND STARLINK AND I WILL MAKE IT A MISSION TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE I KNOW NEVER BUYS FROM STAR LINK AND SPREAD IT TO PEOPLE THEY KNOW AS WELL.
Worst Internet Company Out There!!!
The monthly prices is what made me fall for getting a starlink internet setup. I live in a rural area where we don't get that many options for internet and the ones we get are $100+ a month so we thought starlink would be saving us money. Don't get me wrong it does, but the setup can't even survive storms we get on a pretty regular basis. I was hopeful tho with how durable it said it was. I have tried to return the equipment and get a refund for the 3 days of service this cycle that i have not even used(which they can see). They refused all of it since it was past my first 30 days and the device was on(but again, NOTHING CONNECTED TO IT AT ALL). I am disgusted with this billion dollar company and will be making sure to tell everyone.

They cut service a day sooner than they'd said. Not only that but I had it pointed at clear sky & it told me to move it to a different area which was shaded, for seemingly no reason. Service was consistently patchy. AND when I tried to cancel there was no option to return equipment so it charged me $325 and customer service is nonexistent it's an ai that is incapable of helping.
Bait and switch
Got a mini to use on road trips when I am out of coverage and for camping. The only reason I got it was the 10gb plan for $10.00. After a month they drop the Roam 10 and put me into the standby. Wasn’t happy but at least I can still make calls when on the road way out and remote which happens a lot over landing. Then in less than a month they cut the in motion off the standby they forced me into. Now I have to pay $50 a month or have no in motion. Screw Starlink jist like Tesla with their bait and switch subscriptions. I would pay $50 and now I have a worthless 200$ dish I can’t use for what I got it for just a few months ago. They change plans constantly just a scam.

I purchased a Starlink mini from the factory for $443. I’ve had a plan for seven months. This morning I woke up to an email stating that my plan has been eliminated and the new plan will be 5X the cost with an 80% reduction in service. It’s an innovative product, but don’t expect good faith business practices.

Costs the same as 1gb cable internet at a quarter of the speed, can’t check starlink status half the time when I’m away from home. Honestly not a good isp for the price and inconsistent speeds.

I can’t do anything with this app also it state I don’t have permission to contact customer service no order confirmation nothing and no email with order number it’s frustrating this is seeming like a scam
New obstruction app sucks
I’ve been installing satellite dishes since the big dish days authorized retailer for dish network and DIRECTV. Now I’m installing Starlink about two a week. And of course I need the obstruction app to find a good location. Is that tree in the way, do I need to put the dish up higher to get over it? in the old app, I never used the green dots. I looked at the dark area below the line. And the open area above the dark to see if trees would be in the way it worked great. It was pretty quick and easy to see this. The new app really doesn’t show this. You gotta make all those green dots go away and it just sucks. come on Starlink engineers what the hell were you thinking?

You will not hear back, I am absolutely shocked this is used in emergency situations , extremely unreliable and just shockingly horrible “customer service “ I guess if your in a jungle or in absolute nowhere it’s good but if you and ANY other choice and want reliability go to a major provider.

Not accessible and no support
There’s a great intention with being able to activate new devices with existing counselor the mobile app. However, the mobile app does not recognize an existing service. It wants you to sign up for a new service and pay all sorts of fees. After spending over an hour going around and around with AI chat, which means trying to memorize step-by-step instructions and then going back into the app from the very much buried AI support to perform task or go into the online account to perform task trying to memorize what support is telling you. And of course that’s an endless loop because Chad doesn’t remember the interactions you just had. Finally requested over an hour into it for a ticket. It’s been almost 24 hours and our activation window is about up. This on top of the fact that Starlink made an offer for a free mini supposedly. But we had to buy a new device a few months after receiving it by coincidence it just stopped working, but our warranty we found out is expired because they didn’t give us a free mini. They used our warranty to give us the mini. And now by coincidence we need to replace that main device. And they went to charge us for the device and then $100 surcharge. Activation fee fees, etc., not trusting their warranty process anymore. We went to Best Buy and bought a new Starlink. Now we’re having problems activating it and getting no support. We might be returning this and looking for a new service altogether. Buyer beware
