Used to be great
Stipple used to be a great app. I used it to travel all around the world. But recent updates and changes have made it very NOT user-friendly. It seems like they are MUCH MORE concerned about you spending money on their partners sites and booking through their app than actually letting you plan your trip. I will definitely not be renewing my “pro” subscription! There are much better travel apps out there now!!

If you would compare this app with CHATGPT like from the ads it will be so embarrassing.
So annoyed I wasted money and time
Do NOT pay for pro. This kept crashing on my phone and the app and I have NO time to deal with it. Plus $25 wasted. If you still want to try pro - at least wait for the half price offer. Still not worth it for $12.50 and they offer the “upgrade at half off” to those that are already pro.

Constant Video Ads!!!!
This app could be great but the constant video ads popping up every 2 seconds completely trashes it. I understand having the ads in the content to click on if you are interested but in this app the ads don’t even wait for you to click on them they just pop up repeatedly, forcing you to swipe them away like gnats and preventing you from actually enjoying the main content. What a waste. I NEVER review anything. This is so bad I was absolutely compelled to.

I was really enjoying the app for about a day but even though I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, it keeps crashing!
Unresponsive
I love the app and it is super helpful to plan trips, however every time i try to press a button i have to do it multiple times before it selects and sometimes it will randomly select other things. It takes extremely long to load if I try to add activities to my locations and is just overall extremely glitchy for me. Im not sure if this is just an issue with mine in particular but it is very frustrating.
Poor design
Saw this app on a social media page. I really wanted to like it but the app is poorly designed. Once you enter a trip and locations, there is no edit option. You have to delete the trip and start over. I searched for a help section for instructions but the only choice is to ask on FB, Insta, or email. When I finally gave up and tried to delete my account, the app would freeze once I selected delete, thus not letting me delete. Negative stars in my opinion.

Incredibly Buggy and nearly unusable
Although this app would be awesome for planning a multi/intercity trip, it’s nearly unusable. Each time I try to add a destination, change the number of nights, create a budget, or really make any changes whatsoever, my destinations will remove them self and won’t reappear. If I try to change the nights (from 2-3, for example), it reverts back to 1 night.
As a developer myself, I’d have to guess that there is something very wrong with the state machine being used to track changes throughout the app.
This would be something I’d happily pay a subscription for if it actually worked.

Can’t collaborate
My wife created a trip and invited me to follow. I received an email, clicked the link. It then looks like I am waiting for her approval to allow me to view. She does not see any pending approval in her app.

No benefit to paid version
After paying, I got an email address where I can forward my reservations and have them “automatically” added to my itinerary. Feature doesn’t work at all. Wanderlust has this feature for free, and it actually works. No response to email or live chat seeking support.
It’s a cool app but…
Parts of this app I love, but it’s extremely limiting. For example, you can’t alter the dates between one destination to the next. Let’s say you’re taking a cruise and it takes 2 sea days to get from Singapore to Phuket, you can’t account for those 2 days in the planner, it only gives you a 24 hour option which is crazy. The next thing I don’t like is the app doesn’t sync from my phone to my iPad. This is extremely annoying. Whatever changes I make using my iPhone I’ll have to separately go into the iPad app and make those same changes. The third thing I don’t like about this app to the point I may just stop using it all together is every time I do ANYTHING in the app, such as pick a place to eat, the app will freeze for AT LEAST 2 minutes. I wish this app was way more customizable in terms of dates, in between places, etc like TripIt. What I love about it is how it will create a little video of your trip and you can visually see your route, I also love the suggestions like hotels, things to do, and places to eat…love those features. I’d be more than happy to pay for this if they make it better all the way around.
Doesn’t work right
I am trying to plan a trip for October 7th-24th of 2024. If I put those dates in, it wants my first night somewhere to be the 6th and won’t let me change it. We will be on a plane the night of the 7th so our first night under destinations I want to be the 8th. In order to do this I had to make our trip start the 9th. Our last night somewhere will be the 23rd but it told me I had 16/15 nights planned so I had to make the end date the 25th to get the planning itinerary right. This is messed up. My trip for the 7-24 looks like it’s for the 9-25th now for the countdown but right for the Nights planned section. Please correct this and allow us to adjust the nights planned dates for those flying overnight. If this is corrected I would give more stars but this is a really major flaw and doesn’t allow for any flight planning.
Looks promising but too many cities missing
The app looks cool but I’m giving up… you should have used Google maps to find the cities. So many of them can’t be selected even though they appear when exploring the map… why can’t we just add places as easily as finding them on Google maps? Same with finding hotels, very cumbersome…
