As a night shift worker, it sucks not getting a full day
I really like the idea, its fun, but the paywalls are ridiculous. The cosmetics are fine with the coins and being able to pay for them, but not getting a full day or seeing the game history is not cool. You should not have to pay just to have a full day, I work night shifts so a majority of my walking is done during the hours it cuts me off.
Misleading
Watch out as they bill a subscription really fast and you can’t get out of it. Unethical
Not accurate tracker
This app does not accurately represent your steps for the day no matter what your health app or Apple Watch says. The app does a terrible job showing what actually happens when your score increases or decreases. Very disappointing

I downloaded this app and would be enjoying it so much more if the steps were actually correct.

This app will not sync to your products: ie watch and phone. It also does not fulfill what it says it will do.

I have been trying to add a friend. but it keeps on buffering. It won't let me add.
Pay to win
Turns off 3hrs before end of day unless you pay. So people that work nights, it’s pointless.
Why would someone pay for a step counter?
So initially, I thought this was a pretty cool idea, but the fact that you have to pay for a step counter that already comes free on your iPhone is the dumbest thing. I cannot believe people would waste money on this nonsense.

My son invited me to this app. In order to sign up it forced me into a “free trial” for 7 days. 5 days in I emailed support and said I wanted to cancel. No one responded. On the 7th day they charged my card $59.99. I contacted apple support and they refused to refund the money. I messaged the support email for stompers again and they don’t answer. So I’m out $60 for what? It doesn’t even say what I’m paying for. I contacted them in time and they refuse to give my money back. This app is a money scam.

Constantly misreads steps, you can sync it to everything under the sun and you’ll still be wrong.

I don’t have friends unfortunately. There’s no public match making and there should be.
Glitchy
I have two friends on stompers, but I’m still unable to see any results. Whenever I try, it says that I need to add friends to see ALL results. I already have two so it shouldn’t be an issue. I made a third friend download the app and I still can’t see results. Also, I’ve turned on background app refresh, but my friends still can’t see my results unless I open the app to refresh my step count. I want to love this app but it just isn’t working for me, and there’s no avenue to request support through the app. Or maybe there is and I just can’t see it because nothing works!
Money grab
Everything in this little app here involves some money if you want to track your steps for a full day money if you wanna upgrade your little guy money, if you wanna see your past days steps money. if you wanna do anything, it’s all money. I don’t understand. It is a game about counting steps. Why is everything behind a little paywall?
Another thing, the step counter is very off compared to other forms of teaching steps I can be off by 4 thousand steps by the end of the day, cool idea for an app. okay execution. horribly greedy.

Lost steps
So this app is nice but it takes AWAY steps. For example I looked it and was at 1,900 steps, I sat the phone down then for ready to walk and I was at 1,834. I lost what 66 steps. This makes the step coin inaccurate

Why do you have to reset the score bc I wasted 5h to get 20,000 and soon as it turned day I got restarted like please fix that.

Blocking doesn’t work!
I absolutely love this app, no matter how much it glitches. Forces my friends and I to get outside when we feel down-low and depressed. Only problem I have is that the unfriend and block function doesn’t seem to work, as two people I’ve selected that for still are on my feed. Kind of tired of the app reminding me that they still exist daily. When I try to unfriend or block them again, it only gives me the option to friend those people. Will edit this review and rating once this problem is solved.
Frustrating app
I started using this app and it wasn’t tracking my steps. Then my avatar disappeared and I cant get it back. My name is up no person appears.
Inconsistent at Best
My kids and I have been using Stompers for many many months now. Although there were occasional glitches where steps were miscounted, it seemed to work fairly well. That all changed within the last two months. And every bug fix makes it worse. Last week, the app over counted my son steps and undercounted mine. (I have an iWatch as well). On Monday, the app switched my daughter’s steps at mine when the tallies happened. Then today, I am already at 7000+ and they show my daughter at 9000+ but she hasn’t gotten out of bed yet! Frustrating for sure. I’m done. Deleting.
