I originally downloaded this game from injustice so I can get gems on there, but then this game became in eligible for some reason and won’t allow me to collect in it.
This is also after I already spent money to try and progress faster.

In order to succeed in this game, it’ll cost you thousands of dollars (not exaggerating). They like to dangle carrots from time to time, making you think that you’re making progress, but it’s near impossible to keep up with other players no matter how much time you commit. Please don’t download this game unless you’re just looking for a game to kill some time. Don’t spend the money. You could buy 3 pS5’s for the price of succeeding in this game. Don’t be fooled.

For those not aware, building fortresses and building in and open world starts easy but over time you are encouraged to spend all your stashed resources (or dollars) to avoid being attacked by another player

Switching kingdom
You cannot switch kingdoms, they took away the beginners teleport and when start in a specific kingdom to play with friend it kicks you in a kingdom they want you to fill. Customer service won’t help. They won’t kick out inactive players to make room either. Response to complaints are automated. What a joke

Fraud in the Inducement
A bait and switch platform that lures you in to build your power then after spending countless hours and $, you discover that there is an $8,000 paywall to get from level 39 to 40, only weak heroes are available in the free recruiting (about $3000 per hero to get the better ones and need 6 of these so have two of each troop type for higher level threat kills), gold armor cannot be acquired without spending thousands of dollars, and even simple things like landmarks that appear to have fragments in the VIP Store that states “can exchange for landmark” does not allow you do do this unless you have already purchased the landmarks. Do not waste time or $ on this game as you will be frustrated when eventually find these unpublished gates that stop you from advancing.

It’s not just a puzzle shoot game as they advertise it to be. It’s another “build your village” copycat. Waste of time village building just to play the shoot puzzles.

I’m maxed out at level 39 took me 2 years playing everyday. Nowbtheir is no wheee to go unless I spend a fortune to gain levels over 39 as items for level 40 and above cost lots of money

The game is so much fun I love it, But you better have a ton of cash. I have heard some of the top players drop thousands a month . Everything is so developer makes cash.

After an update I received a message Invalid Credentials. Switch to a valid account or start a new game. I’ve sent email after email and have gotten zero reply. They have basically stolen the money I’ve spent from me.

COST $170 PER DAY to stay competitive. Some items you can’t obtain without money. You will be stuck at until you pay upwards of $10,000 from top items. If you are coming here from an ad it’s nothing like its advertised. The games update just stole players resources which means spending even more money. You have to be able to login on every four hours to collect. This is just some issues.
No support for Mac
As much money as SS has made on the game you would think it would provide a product for MAC. iPad and iPhone work, but MAC isn’t supported. When you try to type in chat the game crashes.

The sharpshooter puzzles are fun and the graphics are good but that’s about it. Advancement is capped by a high paywall. After a short time playing you will spend all your time healing troops from multiple attacks per day. I deleted my account.
Bad gold pop ups
Beware of using your gold from inventory. One mistake and all your gold will transfer to top page of your estate. Then one wrong click and I lost 60k gold to a hospital construction speed ups. I could have used it to help upgrade many more useful items. It’s the 3rd time it’s happened to me. Fix this problem please. I Don’t think I will spend anymore money on this game. I do like the game but not like this.

Addictive at First, But Late Game is a Brutal Paywall
Stormshot starts off strong. The early and mid-game are genuinely fun-building your base, upgrading your stronghold, researching tech, and gathering resources feel rewarding. For the first 30 stronghold levels, progress is steady if you play regularly and join a decent alliance.
But the experience changes drastically after that.
From Stronghold 31 to 34, the pace starts slowing down noticeably. Upgrades take longer, and resource demands grow steep. Still, it’s manageable with patience.
The real problem begins at Stronghold 35. From SH35 to SH39, progress becomes painfully slow-even if you’re active every day. You can’t meaningfully improve your troop strength during this stretch, and most key buildings or features are locked behind insane upgrade costs. It doesn’t feel like a grind-it feels like a stall.
Then there’s Stronghold 40. This is where the game stops entirely for free-to-play users. The cost to upgrade is so high that it’s clear you’re expected to spend thousands of dollars to go any further. And this isn’t just cosmetic-it directly impacts your ability to participate in events, defend your base, or support your alliance.
It’s frustrating to put months of effort into a game, only to hit a wall that you can’t reasonably climb without opening your wallet. If you’re thinking about investing time into Stormshot, know that the game eventually shifts from strategy and progression to pay-to-progress.

You need build/construct, create soldiers & etc, and sometimes you have a chance to play shooting like in the ads
