Website is terrible App auto support also not responding
How do you possibly create a website interface where one can not rewind a book more than 30 seconds at a time? I fell asleep and am 3.5 hours in. It would take me a ridiculous amount of time to get back. Figured I’d download the app to make up for the lack of any useful functionality on the webpage but now I can’t get into that and the automated support isn’t working. This is probably the most frustrated I’ve been with an audio interface - they’re always intuitive and user friendly. Not Storytel.

Mala experiencia
Pagué una suscripción pero al momento de querer escuchar el audiolibro estaba en otro idioma (Alemán), hice todo lo posible por cambiar el idioma a (español) y NO se cambió, la app estaba en español!!!. Al momento de querer cancelar mi suscripción no tenía opción de rembolso.

Can’t sing in it is keep showing me a message apologising for not be able to sign in because of technicality on the app
Poor quality and difficult to stop subscription
Limited offering of books, but not too bad. However, don’t let them trick you. Tried to stop multiple times, but that is not possible in the app. Very annoying that companies still use these annoying tricks to hold on to their subscribers longer than they want. You can quit once you have logged on to their website etc.

A suckish app
Any book I looked up it said “ title not allowed in your region” recommend not to get this app. You have to work extra hard to try to get it to work, but I gave up and wasted my time. It doesn’t even have all the countries I had difficultys trying to get English.
So many issues.
This one is just the worst. You sign up on their website, free trial, yet you still can't listen to anything even though it shows you your current plan is "unlimited". Everytime you click to listen it takes you to your current unlimited plan. So maybe you can listen only on a phone app? Ok. Download it, click log in, takes you to the gmail page automatically, but you can't log in because "you need to go to the log in page" even though you're already there! Great time.

I have subscribed to this app. A few years ago it was excellent. Now I have returned to renew my subscription, but there seems to be a problem with the subscription! As I paid the fees for a month, the amount was already deducted, and I received an email receipt, and when I log in to the application, I am asked to pay the subscription again! I can't understand why?

I normally don’t write bad reviews because I try to find the good in apps but there was no good first of all you need a subscription to read books But when I try to get a subscription, you needed a subscription to get a subscription. This app is horrible. It’s mean to me. I hate it.

Playlist olmaması çok büyük eksiklik
Playlist olmaması çok büyük eksiklik. Sırf bu yüzden Storytel alternatiflerini araştırmaya başladım. Çocuklara kitap dinletmek için aylık subscription satın almıştım. Kitaplar bir kaç dakikalık, ve hemen bitiyor. Liste yapma imkanım olmayınca bir işe yaramıyor. Bu yüzden youtube tercih etmeye başladık.

It sucks…. I thought I was downloading an app to read some good books off of… Yeah, no I tried making an account and it doesn’t even have my country… LIKE WHAT? so I just chose a random one to see if it would even work and it doesn’t. It kept bringing me back to the same screen

US English
It’s strange that they don’t include US English as a language option. Maybe there are legal issues with US platforms like Audible/Amazon. I bet that’s it.
Worst payment option and customer support
The app will ask you pay once and then if you try to migrate the payment option they will ask you to leave since they don’t have any option to change payment option as per there support team which don’t check the issue they just reply with fix statements

Where is the USA
When I am trying to find the USA when you sign in I can’t find it and so I don’t know what to pick and want to read the books but I don’t k so any other language so I don’t know what to pick
Weird app
When you first log in it says choose your region , yet there is no USA or America so you can’t listen to your book you wanna read if it’s not available in that region.
Max Listening Speed = 1.0x
I’ve used all of the audiobook apps at this point and generally liked this one. My big problem would be library size. They have audiobooks from BIPOC authors I couldn’t find on other apps. HOWEVER, if must listen at 2.0x speed. This app allows you to change the setting to 2.0x listening speed but it’s not truly accelerated listening. I timed multiple audiobooks (receipts, right here!) and what they market as 2.0x (the highest speed available on the app) is actually 1.0x. I cancelled my subscription.

Why it’s pissing me off
It’s nice it works on my phone and iPad NOT my Apple Watch… disappointment whenever I open the app on my watch the screen freezes like why WHY WHY I’ve deleted and installed again I’ve tried restarting it
Won’t let me login even though I paid!
I created an account on the website and paid for a membership then downloaded the app and tried to login but it won’t let me!! It’s also impossible to get in contact with customer care!! I had to cancel my membership and creat a new account on the app and pay for another membership!
Do not recommend for me
