Frustrating
I cannot even begin to explain the frustration. I work with a digital marketing business-an academy that is legally registered in the state of Florida. I am an affiliate of this academy, and I promote its services online. Naturally, it teaches people how to build online businesses using various platforms, brands, and so forth. They shut down my account because, according to them, it falls under the category of "scams" or "easy money"-when, in reality, that is simply not the case. There are hundreds of thousands of us doing exactly the same thing, legally and with registered businesses; within this specific academy alone, there are over 4,000 members. The entire situation has been truly unjust and incredibly frustrating. I was left with no choice but to look for another application to handle my payment processing.

I submitted all proof and evidence that a customer attended my event and they still won the dispute that they submitted with their bank (Bank Of America) so I got scammed out of $80. Stripe does nothing to help fight this and they make it too complicated to handle disputes properly on the app. They need to do better!

Didn’t know how bad stripe was till I started using it. Started cause it’s the only way to accept payments through bluevine business acc. There’s literally no redoing or removing. You make an invoice and need to remake it, it’s stuck on your app/history forever. Same with customers. Accidentally make one mistake and ofc you just make a new customer and delete old one. Nah we don’t give you a remove option, it’s just stuck there. The analytics are so pointless. Over a week wait for my check but it took you 2 seconds to take $70 from my $2450 check. I never want to deposit with stripe again
Bad processing system
I’m having to use this system do to another app using them. No way around. It’s stupid that after my clients have paid this app holds funds for a long period of time. And theirs no one to talk to about it.
Useless
I have two transactions that have been pending for over a week. They show up in quicken but no where on the stripe app. Don’t use this app! It ties up your money in some imaginary world you can’t access.
Predatory
When y’all charge a small business 25% of all of their revenues on credit card charges, you would put most people out of business. Which I consider y’all are actually trying to do that to me. It’s OK I’ve got enough of work it for 60 days, but we’ll see what happens in 60 days.
Too long for payment to process
They take forever to pay out. It’s anywhere between 7/14 day wait to get payed out going on around 4 months with this company and they take forever to pay out. They don’t even have any customer support whatsoever other than their AI but even on top of that the AI is useless … better off with PayPal or any other processor stay away from Stripe
Disappointing
While it works great for receiving payments, it takes far too long to even get the payments to your bank account. It takes a week for the money to be accessible in stripe to even get to transfer.
I’m not sure why the country I live in matters regarding payouts. I line in the United States. That should have no bearing on the payouts at all.

Current Days Stats Missing In Charts
For some reasons 3 days the app stopped showing chart stats for the current day and now only shows information for up to "Yesterday".
Before you were able to see all current days stats in all the charts but now each chart only goes up to yesterday.
I noticed this for all 3 of our stripe accounts when using the iOS app.

Trash app
Zero stars don’t waste your time go straight to square started off good then I started making way more money in sales and they put holds on large amounts of my cash flow so it affected my small business in a major negative way!
Don’t use they will steal your money!
This company will hold and steal you money! It’s been over a year and they haven’t released over 19,000$ on my first business transaction which caused me to close my business due to the loss of this money.
Ridiculous and misleading payout policies.
Advertised payout in 2 to 3 days. Set up account months ago for business account with good credit. Charge me almost $10 for ach payment for $250, Now they say I have to wait 7 days. Says go to settings to request earlier payout. Cannot find. No one to contact…. For these fees???

Frustrating and Confusing
Every time I try to do anything with Stripe, from logging in to updating my account information, there is a glitch and I have to start over. (There are a dozen steps to get into your account, and none of them work. You can’t speak to customer service to get it resolved, just an FAQ matrix that points you to things you’ve already tried that aren’t working.) My paycheck is currently being held hostage while I wait 12 hours to disable two-step authentication. And the amount of personal information I had to fork over to be perennially locked out of my account is deeply upsetting. I will no longer work for anyone who makes me use this app to get paid.

I need to change my bank account have been trying to contact someone. There is no phone number no way to change you account number now my payout is stuck.

Customers are scamming restaurants and disputing chargers. There is no way to win these disputes even when you have proof. The liability should not solely be on us the restaurant.
What Stripe doesn’t do!
I‘ve tried for about 2 weeks to talk to sales and support. I’m wanting and have resources to build a world class website. Not a word from them after more than 6 written requests. Don’t be fooled by an all AI website like this is. It’s a scam!

6000 held in reserves
Holding 6000 of my money because they say I was getting disputes on my account. But I went and checked I didn’t have 1 ont one. They just lied so they could hold my money. POS. CANT WAIT TO CHANGE COMPANYS

Fraud
This place is a straight fraud. I am a legit standing LLC business who does big deals with the government. Let me help the small guy from a headache… if you want to keep your money and not be charged these “fees”. And yes these fees are charged even if you refund the money back. They actually charge you twice. And if you don’t have the funds, they will put you in the negative. There “hold” policy is complete BS and should be illegal. If you are looking to do credit card and debit card transactions, save yourself the time and go to square or some other reputable company. Stripe is not it and I hope they get closed down in the near future. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Not paying me what I actually is
Stripe never pays me what the total amount of my payment. My company is making more money than what stripe is giving me. And it is not way to find where that money goes to or why it is hold it, and no way to have a customer service.
Worst greedy company ever!
The tech is great because they are stealing all of your money. Lol I lost tens of thousands of dollars to these people over the last year and a half. They even charge you credit card processing when you refund a client which in the vacation industry 20 to 30% of your reservations canceled and you still have to pay credit card processing and in our case it was hundreds of thousands
of dollars which we got charged for every time. I use Authorize.net now it’s only one percent processing and amazingly they don’t have to charge for a refunds

I get that usually any transaction service will take a fee but no where near as much as Stripe does and especially for them to literally have no customer service department… Good luck trying to get any issues resolved!
They also put a “2-3 business day hold” on your funds that never gets processed within that time as it’s usually the 4th day so that is definitely falsified information leaving you constantly checking their app to see if they will finally “allow” you to withdraw your money… just to find out you then have to wait an additional 7-14 days for a payout!!!

My first customer payment using Stripe went through from a credit card 4 days ago. Still no money in my account and no payout. No estimate for a payout in the app either. Unacceptable! I will be switching to another service.

One of the worst apps I’ve ever used in my life
Truly horrible. The authentication process is actually hell. Don’t even make the mistake of trying to login from a computer even though you need to login from a computer because the app sucks. Nothing intuitive about it and I work in Tech.
