this app sucks. almost every song i tried to learn was not the correct song, had incorrect chords, or incomplete instructions. it costs an entire dollar every day which is ridiculous for the lack of quality and the ads will not stop coming up on my feed on multiple different apps. i genuinely found more success learning music from the ads promoting this app than the app itself. i would give negative stars if i could

I would have loved this app but I had to pay for it and I don’t have the money nor do I even have my guitar yet and I just wanted to check out this app but I hate that you have to pay for it
Need a subscription
Strum, respectfully you would get more downloads if you could use it for free and just throw in some ads, but you just have to make it a subscription. I feel like if there was no subscription it would be five star easily.
Stole my money
Said it would tell me when my free trial was over, never did, then took 7$ every 3 days.
It’s a SCAM
It is marketed as a free and beginner friendly app to learn guitar, but if you even open up the app after about thirty seconds a page pops up. This page is asking you if you want to start a subscription and there is no way to click out of it. You MUST be subscribed to use the app, which is unfortunate because it looks like a fun and useful way to learn guitar.
Cannot get past pay wall
I’ve heard good things about this app but I can’t experience it at all because I cannot bypass the constant paywalls and trial offers as they do not have “x” to get out of the screen please fix this

I bought the subscription I canceled it through Apple and revoked it from allowing it to charge me but it still charges me I can’t have money in my card without it charging me do not use this app or buy the subscription it will keep charging you the subscription thing is broken it is a scam

Had the free trial. Loved it. Bought the app… money went out of my account.. haven’t been able to login app since. Emailed - they said they’d fix it. Still waiting. And Apple refund is useless.

I have canceled my subscription an still it charges me every week am I bad to block them an I deleted the app over 2 months ago.
Crashes
On the latest iOS it just crashes. Really frustrating because it’s a great app, but it doesn’t make sense for me to continue with the subscription if it won’t actually launch. Stays open for about two seconds and then cuts off. Wish I could love it. Had to delete it.

Unable to cancel Subscription
I tried this app a while back and wanted to use the free trail to see if it was any good it wasn’t worth the money so I decided to cancel my subscription. Then after that I kept receiving notifications that it was still taking money from my account so I had to call my bank and get them to block those transactions so basically it’s a scam wouldn’t recommend at all. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

i honestly don't have a problem with how the app operates itself, i used the free trial and thought it was a pretty good app for finding chords. i do, however, have a problem with having to pay $7 A WEEK just to use it. there is no option to use the app for free other than the trial. that is simply insane. there are way more apps/websites i can find songs/chords on for free and that do more. i think it's a bit greedy in this economy and its taking advantage of new players. i've seen so many sponsorships for this app but i don't think i will ever use it again. i would 100% recommend just finding a good youtube tutorial for songs rather than using this

If u have a iPhone SE 2 this app won’t work because the model of phone is too small so u can’t ever leave the subscription page that u get when open the app for first time after making an account or whatever

SCAMMERS!!!
This app has no customer support or anyone to get a hold of. I have no service with this merchant and for some reason they continue to charge my account for a monthly payment. Keep in mind they try charging more than once within a month!!!!! The only way you can reach out to them is via email and when I tried they replied ONCE and completely ignored me since then!!! I can no longer use my Apple Pay due to the fact they try charging my account 24/7! They need to be held ACCOUNTABLE and have this app 1000% SHUT DOWN!!! THEY DO NOT TAKE BILLING ISSUES SERIOUSLY AND DO NOT CARE. THEY CHARGE MORE THAN ONCE WITHIN A WEEK SPAN!!!

It’s a despicable model designed to scam $6.99 a week out of anyone who forgets-or can’t figure out how-to cancel the forced subscription, or fails to notice it’s $6.99 a WEEK not MONTH, like most instrument apps.
When users repeatedly complain about this predatory practice, the developers reply that they’re “truly sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues […] and this is not the experience we want for our users.” If that were true they’d change it. Deplorable.

Requires subscription
I bet people love this app, but as someone who is not willing to drop 7 to 8 bucks on a guitar app. It is just not worth it to me. Everything is behind a paywall. Don’t get me wrong I bet the app helps a lot of people, but why ask for people’s money and not offer a free version too.

u can see that the app is free on the appstore, just that it has in-app purchases. any normal person would assume that “in-app purchases” in a FREE app means that it would just let you pay for extra perks in the app IF u wanted to. this app doesn’t do that. it reals u in with the “free” price tag and before using the features you downloaded the app for, it slaps you in the face with a screen forcing you to subscribe or u can’t use the app. no little “x” in the corner. no “maybe later” button. if your gunna make an app that you have to pay for then don’t make people think it’s free, just put a price tag on the download button so people know what they’re getting

I had a subscription but then canceled it. And for the last like 5 months they have been taking money out of my bank account and sometimes over drafting. I need my money back. This is unacceptable. This app steals your money even when the subscription is canceled. I’m giving you a warning.

Good app, but be warned it is 6.99 a week. I think that is absurd for what you get
Not really all that useful
It shows cords but isn't really useful for learning songs as it doesn't teach the actual strum pattern or show the tabs. Ultimate tabs is far better. Missed opportunity. Good start but needs work. I like that theres a tuner. 7ish bucks ain't a bad price but is it worth it right now? Absolutely not. Keep at it. Might be something someday.
