The updated app no longer keeps portion toppings for favorited items. I always get extra toppings on my subs, and my husband always gets extra mayo on his. Now, when we order and favorite an item we purchased, it doesn’t remember we want extras of those toppings, but it used to. Also, we cannot name the favorites like we used to be able to. That makes it hard to keep track of in a household with more than 1 person, since multiple people might order the same thing.

This app sucks after the update. Promo codes never work in the app, but they work when you use the website. BUT you can’t pay with a gift card on the website. Also, you can’t split payments in the app so if you have a $10 order and want to use a gift card that has $5 left on it and $5 on your debit card you can’t. FIX THIS!!!
Account Issue
I can’t even sign into my account, the account is saying it’s registered already. But when I do login it prompts to create an account. The app is completely, broken and not working at all. If I could leave zero stars I would.
Too Many Bugs
The app used to work fine, now it’s riddled with bugs. I can’t select a promo to use unless I pick a locations which it never allows me to do and there’s no ability to cancel an order if you accidentally select the order button that’s a really dumb setup. Very frustrating!!!

Can’t update account
App won’t let me update my email associated with account. Also can’t create a new account because my phone number is associated with the existing account with the wrong email address. Basically I now cannot log in to the my account. There appears to be no way to resolve this and thus can only use the app as a guest and cannot use or accumulate reward points.
Update was a downgrade
Consistent issues with payment, orders being received in store, inability to add items to order, missing items from the menu but available in-store.

Ever since their update I got kicked out and it doesn’t give you the option to sign IN, only sign up. I already have an account and it won’t let me back in!
Double protein feature doesn’t work
You’re required to select 3 protein options to enable the double protein option, however the interface only allows you to select 2. This app is clunky and never works

terrible update
this is one of my only reviews ive left on an app in the multiple years ive had an apple device and i can strongly say this app sucks, i have a $5 digital gift card that you cant use on the app nor online, app tells you to use separate payment to finish off balcony if needed, but when you try and check out it says not enough funds and to choose a different? after literally just telling me my 2nd payment will cover it. not only that but you can use gift cards online. AT ALL. and to top it all off, theres literally no option to reload a giftcard anywhere online, theres all these links and pages telling how to in app, and again the app doesnt offer it.

Location services not reliable
When using the location services to place my order, the order was sent to a subway that was 5 miles from the location that I was currently at. The app does not allow any way to cancel modify or move the order. So now I’m just out $30.
Delivery - Missing item
I ordered through the Subway app and got my order delivered to me. I was missing an item. Subway uses DoorDash to deliver orders. I went to the website I was given to track the order and there was a “Help” button and when I clicked on it, it said to call the restaurant. The problem is that every time I have an issue and I call, they never pick up. This is a big issue. Please add the option to refund through the app. Make it easier for your customers just like the other apps; DoorDash, Grubhub. It’s not that hard. Make it simple. That’s it.
Price error
There seems to be a major pricing error. The prices shown are completely inaccurate. Pizza is listed at $99, chips are $219, and several other items have incorrect prices as well. Hopefully this can be fixed soon, as it makes ordering very confusing.

It never works
The app never works. It always says there is a cart error and refuses to put an order through. We no longer order since we’re unable to use the discounts provided by the app. I hope they get it fixed someday, it’s been happening for 4 months now.

I have been using the app for several years now and ever since the newest updates I have not been able to use the app. Every time I go to check out it keeps telling me there is a cart error and will not let me check out. All of the information is correct and up to date but it refuses to work. When the update first came out it was only the coupons that were giving me trouble now the whole app seems to have problems. It is nice and sleek now but if it doesn’t work the look is for nothing.

This app was good until they changed it. The cost breakdown at checkout does not display correctly. The app loads much slower than before. It looks like it’s made to better interact with AI but it lacks the intuitive nature of the old version
Was great - now I can’t use it
I used to use the subway app to order a lot. It was easy, fast, convenient, but now it won’t let me simply sign in. I continue with the ID I’ve always used and it asks me to sign UP. When I put in my phone number, it tells me I can’t sign up because this number is already associated to an account. Yes - it is. Please let me sign IN. Frustrated enough to actually take the time to write a review.

The app used to be fine until a couple months ago they updated and it now is far more confusing/not user friendly and selects meal options instantly unless changed manually. I have found myself getting subway far less than I had before the updates, fix your app please!!
Out of Olives for Months
Trash hole establishment what cannot seem to stock olives. What’s the deal, subway? I can go get them at the Kroger’s right now, what is your excuse for months of failure? Close and go bankrupt already you bunch of losers.
WONT ALLOW YOU TO BUY
The last few updates have been VERY glitchy-despite what the update claims it’s fixing. I haven’t been able to buy a sandwich from my app in MONTHS. It’ll let me build the sandwich but when it gets to the payment screen it doesn’t display a price and won’t let me complete the order. Don’t waste your time downloading

Bad Payment system
The old app used to allow split payments or using gift cards and this new one does all gift cards to work with regular payments which is frustrating because in the app it says it does but it doesn’t let you pay after with an error

Won’t Add Gift Cards, SCAM!
I added five gift cards that were wiped with the update. Now I can’t add them again. What a cluster. They have my money, don’t want me redeeming it.

They update the GUI of this app every month, it’s impossible to cancel an order after you place it (I.e. if if selected a store in a different town) and you can’t get used to its layout and where it says which store, because again they completely redesign it every month. Terrible app, no support exists unless you are in Canada. As a previous weekly orderer, never ordering from this place again

This app is garbage, there is no way to use the remaining funds in a gift card if you don’t have more than the price of your bag, and there’s no way to merge them either.

The app isn’t user friendly. I can’t find the curbside pickup option any longer despite the signs still being at the stores. Your chat functionality is non-existent. You really need to fix this.
Cannot pay with Gift Card if it doesn’t have enough balance
Even that at checkout there is a message saying “If there is a balance to pay after applying your gift card, you will need a second payment method”. There is no way to select a second payment method, rendering useless the balance remaining in the Gift card.

Account Issue
Every time I go to log in, when I enter my email it takes me to a screen that says create account and tells me the number is already registered to an account. But I hit login every time and it always takes me to the create account screen.
