Sadly a change in their app recently forces you to check email or receive SMS just to place an order. As I don’t have email on my phone and if I’m ordering on my phone, I am not at my computer. So deleted the app as it’ll never be useful for me. You’d think there’d be FaceID to retain login info or a Guest option.

Half the time the address lookup is completely blank when it pops up.
If your order is wrong, you have near zero recourse. There is no human intervention, they just give you a $5 coupon no matter what. Driver stole whole order? “Here’s five bucks, kiss our grits!”

Complete Scam
This app signs you out every time you want to use it and i have lost all of my “rewards” multiple times, used it for a year i dont even have enough rewards to get a damn taco. Literal joke of an app.

PLEASE put the ADD button down by the VIEW MY BAG button!!!!! Also my customized box setting disappeared and without realizing I ended up ordering the wrong stuff. 👎🏽
Not convenient
Make the App several versions backward compatible. Every time i use the app i have to log in. Every time i log in i have to wait many minutes for email
App is pointless…
…because 100% of orders have a mistake. What are we even doing here making an app before you fixed getting orders correct.
App Glitches Every Single Time!!
Every time I place an order since I downloaded the app it glitches and I have to add an item 3 times before it’ll actually stay in my cart. The interface is also just annoying. Can’t ever find what I’m looking for. What’s in my “recommended for you” are things I’ve never ordered when I order the same thing every time. When I go to pay it glitches out and I often have to check my bank to try and figure out if my order actually went through or not because the email is delayed. Annoying but sometimes the code won’t pull up and the reward points are decent enough that it’s worth it to deal with these problems lol I wish they’d fix these issues though!
Slowly Going Down Hill
Used to love the app untill they slowly got rid of all the good food rewards. Now it seems pointless to earn points as nome of the rewards seem worth it 😭
LOCOS Game Reward
despite having over double the points to qualify for it, i never received the half of a taco party pack reward. there’s no support to contact for this, playing the game was just a waste of time.
Order ahead pick up time issue
This is a complaint for two related issues. We placed an order ahead around 1pm for pick up at 5:15pm at the Taco Bell local to us under the assumption they would make the order close to the pick up time we specified at check out. I got to the location to pick up the food and I was at first told they couldn’t find the order in the system. I had my partner send me the screenshot of the order with the order number and showed it to another employee and he was able to find it in the system and made the remark that it was in progress for over 200 minutes which makes sense since we placed it over four hours ago for the time I arrived for pick up. They were going to start making it and. A few minutes later, the woman who I assume was the shift supervisor, called the name in the order and had the receipt to show me the time the order was placed and proceed to tell me they made the order hours ago and because it wasn’t picked up, they ended up throwing it away. She tried blaming my partner saying he must have selected ASAP instead of the pick up time, but that would be pretty hard to do since you have to scroll to pick the time. The woman said they’d make the order but still pushed that it was our fault. I googled to see if it was a known issue with the app and apparently it is when you place a pick up in store order at a specified time. I got the food, went home, and we realized they missed an item in the order which could either be an honest mistake but considering the attitude I received from the shift supervisor, it feels intentional. I do not like leaving negative reviews because I worked in retail and customer service for over a decade and I know that it’s not an easy job, but I didn’t appreciate the attitude I received and the fact that the order was also missing an item at was clearly in the receipt. Please fix the app so this isn’t an issue anymore.
App is broken
Every time I try and add something to the cart to checkout nothing happens. Like I want to order food but your app literally won’t let me. Had to order McDonald’s instead.
App Doesnt Work
The Taco Bell app is the worst fast food app out there. I cannot add menu items and there is no cart/bag. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing has fixed the issues. I see others are having the same problems. Don’t waste your money.
Crooks
They just keep taking more and more things off the menu and finding ways to keep serving the same 4 ingredients in different ways while trying to charge you $10+ to eat. No combos, nothing people actually want.
I can’t pay on the app suddenly!
Today I suddenly have no payment options on the app perish than Apple Pay. Up till now there has always been an option to pay by credit card or PayPal. I don’t use Apple Pay. What’s with this stupid update!?

3 times now I have placed an order in the app, it charged my card, then the order showed “error” and didn’t go through. This app takes your money and doesn’t put in your order.

Literally can’t order because the add button doesn’t work, and can’t redeem my rewards because you can only redeem them by ordering through the app (which is also classist)
Getting worse
Doesn’t like to use save payment methods and typically only allows for Apple Pay.

Terrible
This app is pointless unless you’re so desperate for the freebies they give for using it. It updates frequently, which requires you to sign back in. So that basically means every single time I use it. I have other apps that update that don’t require me to sign back in every time. If your app developer can’t figure that out, fire them and get someone who can. Secondly, the doesn’t get made until you show up at the drive thru and tell them you’re there. So much for saving me time. Screw it, I’m not going to give you free labor for order entry, I’ll just order at the drive thru.
Turn off promotion notifications
I wish this app had the ability to turn off the promotion notifications without turning off order notifications.
Literally cannot place orders
It wouldn’t be an issue if certain items weren’t online exclusive meaning if I go physically in without placing online I can’t get what I want, it always gets to the last screen but never finishes

Still acting as if there is no cart for iPhone users. I don’t need useless responses, fix the damn app! My McDonalds app works great and they’re literally across the street from my local Taco Bell so I guess they’ll continue to benefit from the Taco Bell app not working.
Different customization system
Shouldn’t need to pay $1000 to customize when you remove items. If I’m trying to make something vegan it makes no sense if I take out nacho cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream extra and the price stays the same but I get charges 50¢ for lettuce, 70¢ for beans, etc. For example, chickfilas system takes out the cost of an item if you remove it. It is now mandatory for me to pay extra to get refried beans as a substitute for chicken in the chalupa ($7 box) this is stupid. I should be able to substitute meats for free, especially when I’m DOWNGRADING. Also horrible new system for filing complaints about the meal. I’m not looking everywhere for the receipt to find 20 pages of information just to complain about a mistake. We don’t even get a $10 coupon anymore, just a useless email that’s helps no one. How cheap and lazy.

When I tap “Add” to any item it will put the item in a cart that I cannot see and eventually when I try too many times to add something it tells me I cant add any more of that specific item.

No cart icon
I can add things but there’s no way to see my cart. The icon is missing. There’s no way to check out. What a joke. No I’m not going to email support. It’s your job to figure out the issue.

After not eating Taco Bell for several months I see the spell was broken! I can now realize the food has no taste, is likely fake and of course the only nutritional value is sodium and ultra processed carbs.. I’m free!

This app is a piece of garbage.
I have had more instances of the app not processing my order but still taking my money and it’s gotten to be ridiculous. I get charged on my card but the app says “there was a problem processing your payment”. Either update your app to work correctly or get rid of it.
