Absolutely disgusting! I bought a number on this platform and subscribed for a year. The number has practically never worked since I made the purchase. It doesn't receive any messages. I've tried contacting support several times, but I've never received a response. They just ignore emails. My problem has never been resolved, and I continue to pay for a service that doesn't work. It's completely disgusting and unacceptable. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would have, because it's simply unacceptable that a paid platform offers no customer support whatsoever.

Nothing’s unlimited, even with a paid subscription. And they seem to think that THEY have the right to renew a CANCELED subscription, then BLOCK YOUR ONLY RECOURSE to get a refund on the money they took from you, without your permission, and still withhold the subscription’s benefits from you! Absolutely ZERO stars for this company and their app! Even a rating of half a star is far too much for this comany!
Extremely slow Customer Service
Havent been able to use the service with two numbers for months. They keep requesting upload of picture of Passport and write number on a piece of paper…also provided proof of address. Their system takes only low resolution uploads. Literally sent requested documentation 3 times to no avail. All was well the first year - know it is just another unused app on my phone. I give up.

I miss Skype
This is the least user friendly garbage I have run into. I bought credit- then when I try to make a call it says “no free calls” then when I try to check the rates for the country I try to call it tells me to download the app. I am in the app!

Such a waste of time, you pay for a month for a number only for the app to charge you to text and call with that number. Funny things is they charge the same amount you used to purchase the number for call/texting credit.
Was good until they started scamming
When you buy tokens now, the purchase goes into a “pending” state. This means if you lose cell service, your purchase doesn’t go thru but they still keep your money.
Update: Developer reached out a month too late to ask me to provide them screenshots of the issue. I already deleted the app and reported it so no extra data for you.

Downloaded it clicked id rather watch ads I tried to text couldn’t kept tryna make me pay when your app says “completely free” that’s a lie um I go to make a phone call must allow contacts I did that then when I typed in the number couldn’t call couldn’t do anything so fix the app of lies
DO NOT GET THIS APP
I have gotten this app so I could have a second phone number but there are lots of cons. First it starts you off with like ten or twenty credits so that’s good but they get used up so fast. And then after that you only have like one left so there’s a thing where you could do daily checkin for one free credit. But mind you the calls go from .90 credits to 2.00 credits and sometimes in middle of a call it just cuts you off and hangs up. Also sometimes the app just crashes a lot. And if you want more credits they cost real money so at this point Just get cellular service am I right? Very unpleased to say the least.

This is not a free app. Do not be catfished into downloading it because the reviews say it is free. You must pay a subscription for a phone number and you obviously cannot make calls without one.

I usually don't rate apps, but this one is terrible. Don't waste your time or money on making calls, especially international ones. I bought credits to make a call, but it kept saying the person I was trying to reach was unavailable. I used a different app to call, and it worked fine. When you try to call internationally on this app, you’ll hear a Muslim prayer, which is very annoying and offensive.

It gets your email account and personal contacts info, makes you go through a process of choosing a number and setting it up, makes you “watch an ad” for credits, which is really just talking you to some company’s website with no video ad at all, then tells you to dial FOR MONEY and when you dial, it says IT NEEDS ANOTHER CELL PHONE OF YOURS WITH A NUMBER IN IT TO WORK!!!!!

Not working for call to India
I tried multiple attempt to call some of the Indian phone number and it is not allowing me to call and the IVR says that service is not available on this accounts. Complete waste of money.
Talku is a joke
I subscribed for this app only to find out that I get coin deductions for every outgoing text and incoming text message including outgoing calls and incoming calls. This is one of the worst apps ever, text messaging and calls are limited.

Minutes after activation, I received an unsolicited/suspicious text from an unknown number and lost 7.25 credits without initiating any call or SMS.
Most troubling: despite paying for a valid number, the app requires additional credits to RECEIVE basic SMS or calls - nowhere disclosed during purchase or clearly in their Terms. Their Terms only mention credits for outgoing communications, creating a misleading impression; this omission appears intentional to deceive buyers.
TalkU’s website advertises “real phone numbers” able to receive calls/texts from anyone, without warning of extra charges. This is a hidden fee and a deceptive business practice, violating App Store rules on misleading descriptions and unexpected charges.

Customer service is horrible, they don’t ever get back to you. Also, whenever you complete a task they rarely give you your reward.
