No fail safe for being at the wrong store
Walmart and every other pickup place I go to for store pickups tell me if I’m not at the right store. I just waited 15 mins for no reason because the app doesn’t do what everybody else can seem to figure out. 👍

App won’t even open after the last update. Just gets stuck on the target logo then shuts off.

Better create two profiles if you’re disabled. They will ban you from ordering cold items if you order in the evening and can’t make it to pickup till next day. They’ll say their freezer is full but if you create another profile you realize it’s just the store punishing your previous account. Their managers use disabled slurs and synonyms for crazy to gaslight you when called on it.
Order status Delivered but not received- no refund
I order skin moisturizers from target app and It says order is delivered but I didn’t find in my mail box. I called target they said if it is delivered then it is delivered. They did not refund my money so please beware while online shopping from target I lost $47.72

Use to shop target 4-5 days a week. My family’s store. Then they got rid of D E I & I stopped shopping there cold turkey. It’s too bad, they should’ve been proud to reflect their customers.
Bot stealing
App doesn’t work and get flooded with bots. Cancels your order for bots favor. Since they are buying in bulk. Get hacked a lot.
No counter to scalpers
I just want to be able to get 1-2 ETBs to be able to enjoy but scalpers always win I guess🤷🏽♂️
Terrible rushed app update by lazy developers and deserate execs
I don’t care about your stupid unhelpful ai assistant. The app won’t even let me add to my custom lists anymore. You app runs slow as hell because ads, ai, and dynamic loading. I hate using it now. MAYBE IF YOU STILL HAD SOME DEI, YOU COULD MAKE A DECENT APP
Hard to purchase
I find it extremely difficult to find what I want to buy on this app.
Unable to cancel eternally delayed preorders,
Preordered exclusive vinyl in 2025, label created in February 2026, delayed for (going on) 4 months. App entirely useless for assistance w/ cancellation/refund. Left1 star review & liked low reviews w/ same issues, won’t add/officially save but says “you’ve left a review”.
Poor service
Promised delivery by 5:00. Promise changed to window of 5:00-6:00. At 5:50, I received a text that delivery would not happen until 6:00-7:00. Guess I should have stayed with my Target boycott.
Won’t load any orders
It won’t load orders for me to do pickups or driveups…
Glitches/unusable
After this latest update, my app won’t show my purchase history. I get “oops something went wrong” messages, for both the online and in-store options. It also says I have new Circle bonuses, but doesn’t show them.
Can’t view purchase history
It’s bad enough the target circle doesn’t offer much but now I can’t view my purchase history bc I get a constant errors I always update the app and still nothing. I went on google to look and it gives me an error. So much for the app or target circle being useful… it’s not
No carga mis pedidos
Realice pedidos, no carga mi historial de estos, solo me enviaron el correo de mi pedido, pero ni siquiera he podido recogerlo en la tienda porque es como si no existiera y ya está cobrado a mi tarjeta

this stupid app made me buy something i didn’t even want for 16 dollars and whenever i try to cancel it it won’t let me and now i just wasted my hard earned money just because this app wants to scam me, give me my money back now you don’t understand how much i need it
Favorites deleted by update
We like to shop in the app, but latest updates deleted our Favorites list. When we try creating a new List, app says we reached max number of lists and a new list can’t be created. When we try adding a favorite it displays an error message. Our time is valuable and we can’t waste it fighting an app that doesn’t want our business.
Greatest Disappointment
Been waiting at 4am to get the jacket on the 6am online sell and nothing.

The app is so dumb. It glitches a lot, especially during item drops. It's also ridiculous to have a $35 minimum for certain purchases. Not going to catch me wasting time trying to buy limited time items from here anymore. Walmart's better.
Used to be great, now it’s unbearable
I used to be able to hit Pokemon card drops consistently, but they decided to prioritize bots and scalpers as opposed to their own customers. Horrible company that I will no longer EVER support.

App works well but they change prices based on who is buying. Not good.
3rd Party Sellers
It’s hard to tell what is actually being sold by Target vs a 3rd party seller. These sellers also overcharge for a of their product. This is very confusing and frustrating when using the search function. I do not recommend this app.
The worst card
Always locks me out, can’t verify card, makes me reset my password, 4-step verification and still locks me out. Deleted app and tried again, same thing. Even online on my computer, spinning wheel. I’m so done with this junk app.
Poor UX
Was trying to pay with Red Card debit in-store and got caught in a loop where the app kept asking to verify my card by sending a code to my phone or email after inputting my debit pin. It did this multiple times and wouldn’t let me pay and receive my discount. Really disappointing and frustrating experience, guys. Also why does this app track us?
Lousy customer service
Shopped for an item I had been waiting for several months. Finally was able to place an order and it was cancelled due to “technical issues” Reached out to customer service hoping to receive help. where the virtual assistant ended the chat abruptly without a resolution. Highly unprofessional and disappointing.

Why does this have such high ratings if an item is popular the cart literally crashes. Junk app
Pokemon drop 5/1/2026
Wait until 12am and when they finally have the item in stock it glitches out and won’t let you add it to your cart. Then I log on to my computer to try and save it and it glitches me through 10 attempts at putting the item in my cart and checking out only for the item to be sold out before anyone ever had a chance.
Worst Credit Card in History
I have never seen a worse credit card then Target’s store credit card. It makes you think “is the 5% off worth it”

Availability
Availability is extremely unreliable and often incorrect. There are frequently items on sale “when purchased online only.” However, if you attempt to purchase those items online they won’t allow shipping or pick up, yet it says the item is available in store. If you try to purchase said item in store and explain the issue, they still will not honor the discount. At least at my store location they won’t.
I have also had many time where I will get an email that an item I’m waiting for is available again but when I get on the app, it’s not available for any purchase options.
I will also include that though this is a big issue, the pick up is very reliable and timely!

Gift receipt
I wasn’t able to write a gift receipt with this order because I don’t have their email address. They’re not gonna know who it came from.
Struggling stock
It's hit or miss on finding staples in stock here. Many items have been discontinued that were once carried at my local store. Nobody seems to have the foresight to stock enough of the most popular items that always seem to run out. Don't get me started on prices. Sometimes the 5% off will help, but many times I am heading to Walmart or Meijer as Target is missing the target. Maybe they should cut back spending on the annoying ads everywhere and focus on what customers really want...more bang for their buck.
