I pay for premium. This app makes so much money… yet no support staff. I don’t get it. May 1 i stopped getting notifications. No background app refresh or something i don’t know. Doesn’t make sense. Horrible customer service.

Verified scam account operating on Telegram. The user @maxie_peps requested PayPal Friends & Family payments, provided fake/suspicious shipping information, and later demanded additional fees. The shipping website has since been shut down. Very concerning that a verified account was allegedly involved in fraudulent activity

I just downloaded telegram and I’m instantly taken to the “pay for premium wall” and I’m stick there . I can’t get past it … I’m not currently trying to use premium features and I feel it should be optional to use premium features and not imposed on download .

Right now my app is not giving me notifications and I have to open it to see new messages. This is super inconvenient and ties me to my phone wondering if I’ve missed something. Other friends and family are having this problem too, for almost a week.

Since when did we start paying for telegram? Tried logging in on my tablet and it asked me to pay before logging in…. Telegram has been acting up on my iPhone so I decided to uninstall and reinstall, now it’s asking me to pay before logging in… what’s is actually the problem?

For one the app is full of muting by scammers. I was in the app and another account started impersonating me- using my pictures to scam people. I contacted support and the bots, along with wrote multiple emails over the span of 3 years to resolve this. The account made fake channels of me- although support never responded 2 of the channels did get deleted shortly after. But they just make another channel. The 3rd one they made- I’ve reached out about for over a year now. Still no response and this time no action. They chose to leave the whole account up- even though the profile itself was also posting my to story and mimicked my profile. And since they just leave the account up it allows them to continue making new channels. I’ve requested both to be taken down, submitted proof of who I am. Proof the account is very fake. (My Id, my full name, every social I have, and even a video of myself explaining everything.) the owners of this app
Do not care. They would rather get the 4$ monthly subscription the account pays to pretend to be me and scam normal users than delete the account. This is a very common problem on this app- I know many people currently being impersonated and telegram just does not care. If you reach out to support volunteers they never respond. The scam bot never responds. The emails for scam and abuse do nothing. The app claims they prioritize safety and privacy and gives options to disable sharing and screen recording of the things you post.. then they have bots in the app to just bypass that to steal your posts. Such thing as privacy. Not only that but there is so much illegal things posted through this app. Child porn. Animal abuse. Selling dope. Arraignment of illegal things in general.. the same spam account I came across posting advertising selling child porn on their story 2 years ago and reported- and had many people go report.. IS STILL UP AND POSTING IT. The creators of this app really do not care about their users being scammed or harassed. They don’t care about their exploitation or abuse being openly exposed on this app. As long as the account is paying that 4$ monthly subscription subscription.. they will leave it up. It’s disgusting.

Telegram doesn’t track you essentially, so people create group chats that show people how to do illegal and very sexual and inappropriate actions, and if anything happens with that group, then they always make another one. Literally an App designed to welcome people like that. I used very general words to make this ‘SFW’ (Safe For Work)

Первое видео прогрузилось, второе… И по новой: опять первое видео, второе, третье… И опять по новой. То есть чтобы отправить сообщение из 5 видео мне надо прогрузить… 10 раз. I have tried contacting the developers from inside this app, and only have gotten radio silence! I have tried contacting via Twitter, Facebook, and every other platform the developers might be on. Again, radio silence. This app is only partially accessible, which means for those of us fully depending upon a screen reader, it’s practically unusable and anything other than a very basic form. I expect to be able to use every feature, not just a couple features. Please correct this soonest. Oh, and there’s 385 million other like me that would like you to correct this, now.
Update, as of May 3, 2026, this app is no longer usable by a totally blind individual using a screen reader at all. Most buttons are unlabeled, there is no back button for when you enter a chat. There’s also no profile button, and there are no longer any tabs at the bottom, which means I can’t even modify settings. I would rate this app lower than one, but that option is not available! The developers have failed in any minimal obligation to the entire population of the planet to make their client accessible for everyone! The developers of this app taught on their website, the equitability of the client, the inclusion of the client, and the diversity of its users. At least two of those three terms they are not living up to. As of today’s date, this client is no longer accessible at all.

I use telegram to message my family and friends, and I have never broken a term or condition. My account got reported as spam and my appeal was not accepted. Is there anything i can do to prove I am not a scammer or violating rules? I would love to continue using this app. My username is @elysebanans. Thank you.

Tried to do everything from the internet to fix the location services on. But on location services i can see all my other apps except telegram. Tried so many things still doesn’t work.

My telegram account has refuse to enter my chats, I’m clicking and it keep refusing to open I don’t know what tht means pls help out

After one message I was told by a friend my account was frozen. I didn’t even have it for more than 5 minutes. Unfreezing it is an absurd hassle…so yeah, I’d recommend WhatsApp or really any other app before this waste of my time.
