download speeds are abysmal
No volume
For some reason out of nowhere none of the videos shared in the app have volume, even the ones sent from my device to the app. It’s very bad and super annoying.
It’s not really secure or private
If you read the reviews looks like many users got banned for participating in illicit groups. TG banned them all, which means they can track, monitor, and see content of these groups, which contradicts its claim of being safe and private.

Trash app
Paid for this app a few days ago and got device banned this morning when I woke up to check my messages. If I could give zero stars I would. I highly don’t recommend buying this app.
No Connection to server
When I try to register it just says no connection to server over and over and over

No connection to server
I accidentally logged out of my account which I’m not mad about but I’ve tired contacting customer service to help my cause every time for the past 2 weeks when I try to make a new account it repeatedly says “No connection to server” plz help
Very slow
The app is definitely a work in progress. It lags ALOT. When trying to send media even if it’s 19 secounds it takes for ever to upload and then even that the download speed is crazy long for something so short. Try to send family from overseas videos and they just take too long. Even a 10 second video I was trying to send saying hello takes for ever. Please update your stuff. There are literally so many apps that have faster download and upload speed than TeleGuard. It might not be working as good but others definitely have their media sending and downloading issue handled. Also if someone is sending media to someone why would they be required to download it manually. It should automatically be downloaded if someone send them something.
On another note. Why does media expire after a certain amount of time? I heard it was a TeleGuard thing where after two weeks the media will expire. Please remove that or fix it to keep media content on there.
Please work on that. Like REALLY work on it. Telegram puts yall to shame.

Ui is very buggy, clearly not updated for the current IOS version or it was ported from Android
App performance is too poor for it to be native performance on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Either a port or needs an update.

The messaging works but uploading pictures or videos doesn’t. Devs should check in on this.

This has been happening for days and happens too often.

For sometime the app did work but now it keep saying “no connection to server” where new feeds are not showing up anymore.

Very interesting and promising app but lets say for middle east countries specially iran very poor video and audio call it takes an age to be connected and once its connected be disconnected immediately and quality is so poor

US cell cannot be linked
The app looks nice and the security aspect of it sounds great. Unfortunately, it is impossible to link my US phone number with the app - I get a “Send approve code error” every time I try. Therefore, I am unable to see any friends which might use this app.
Update:
The problem with my American cell phone is not due to adding additional 0s as suggested by the developer. The app shows the number correctly in the format +1-XXX-XXX-XXXX before it fails to send me the confirmation text message. Therefore I tried to contact customer support as instructed on their website directly via their Teleguard ID. However, I can’t communicate with them as nobody accepts my “invitation”. The contact for Teleguard Support shows since 2 weeks in broken English “you have send invite”.
I still think this app would be great if it worked, but as of now, it does not work for me at all.
