Instructions on free trial not clear
I thought I was going to get a free trial of the app to see what it is like before I finally decide whether I want to buy the full yearly subscription. I signed up for what I thought was the trial and ended up getting charged. I think the instructions should be made clearer so that we can figure out what we are getting ourselves into. Thanks
Charged me twice
First it charged me twice and now it can’t find my 69$ subscription! So it basically defrauded me for my money

App immediately charges you $30 even though it says it's in the free trial. Do not use this.

Paid for a full year suddenly all filters and background options are gone and no way to report the issue.
Deceptive Marketing/ Glitchy and does not save
I attempted to try this app for work, under the pretense of a FREE TRIAL. I used the app, recordings did not save, I deleted the app and “unsubscribed” less that 6 hours later. I then see a charge for a $74 annual subscription attached to my personal card (had I liked the product, I would’ve charged to a business card) I would not recommend.

Do not download this app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT! Find another teleprompter if you need one. They offered me a 2 week free trial period and said they would notify me before it was up before I got charged. I started my trial on February 17th. Cancelled it in Apple settings on the 24th, and got charged on the 27th. Does that make any sense?
This app is predatory and scammy and Apple will not issue a refund no matter how many people you talk to.
Report this app on the App Store please. Developer, when you read this, eat my shorts, I hope you needed that $12 you scammer.

Terrible decision
Would not recommend to anybody they stole my money and won’t refund it
Caution FRAUD DONT USE
They offered a Free Trial option, but once I clicked on Free Trial, it automatically charged my card. When I looked for their contact info to notify them of the error, there was nothing that worked. DO NOT TRUST THIS APP. ITS FRAUDULENT. They take people’s money and the app doesn’t work.
Deceptive free trial and renewal
They claimed free 3 day trial with 24 notification before renewal. No notification before they automatically charged me and the App Store refuses refunds even on the same day as the charge. Furthermore the app itself is nothing special and isn’t even as good as other apps that charge half as much
Help
I need help - I purchased the subtraction and then tried to make videos and it thinks I don’t have a subscription so I cannot use the app. Can someone either help or give me a refund?

It worked the first and second time and that was it, whenever I record a video, it takes hours to save. Most of the time, it refuses to save. I tried recording last night at 10pm, the app got stuck on “ processing “ until 6am this morning when I finally did a force close and lost my video. This app has not been the best for me and I will not recommend it. Also I was charged twice one week apart. I could not get my second payment back after trying multiple times. And when you reach out to customer service it takes several days and they come back with absolutely no help. Not good.

A cookie cutter response. Obviously they can’t even take the time to read the comments or they would have already understood and improved! Your app just prints text on the screen. It’s not worth the money you’re asking. It’s maybe a one time purchase of $9.99 at best.

charged me without my approval
I downloaded it wanting to do the 3 day trial and it automatically charged me. I kept asking for a refund customer service has not replied at all
Teleprompter too slow.
I was already leery because $12 a week is an outlandish price for any subscription. But I have it a shot because if it was a quality product I would have likely kept it. Unfortunately the teleprompter is extremely slow. You can adjust the speed but even at the highest speed it doesn’t keep up with my normal vocal cadence. This one is a NO from me, dawg.
Audio so bad
I was excited to use this, but the audio is just so terrible! It sounds like it’s being recorded through a 2001 android phone I got from the flea market

Took my money
I tried to use once and it wasn’t that easy so immediately canceled the trial. Wanted to try again because it seems none are terribly easy to use so I went to try again and even though I was offered a trial and accepted the trial it charged me immediately. Apple wouldn’t refund.

Bought 1.35 per week and it charged me nearly 69.99 dollars for the year. When I went to cancel the subscription I did not get a refund despite not having the app for more than 24 hours. This is ridiculous especially as the plan that I clicked on was advertised for $1.35 a week “no commitment, cancel anytime” which one would obviously think that would go towards 1.35 per week. I want a refund.

Audio lagging
The video and the audio don’t match and it’s really annoying. Especially if I use a microphone. The new touch up features are ok, the lipstick looks fake and crazy and the foundation a little much with not a lot of tone changes. Videos often save with a black border if I redo a video more than once without restarting an app. For something I pay for yearly, it’s a bit of a flop. Please fix this.
Don’t use this app
If you had technical difficulties, which I did, you will not be able to get in contact with anyone there’s no one to help you. There’s no one to help you with billing issues. I have been trying for literally months to contact someone and have no results. The app is not that great compared to the competitors don’t use this app.
Expensive for it not to work
It was a lot of $ for something that doesn’t work. I needed this for work and it was just a waste of time. It won’t save my videos. Idk what’s going on with it. I’m requesting a refund.
FALSELY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT $70
This app falsely charged me $70. I signed up for a 1 week subscription of $1.35 on the app then it proceeded to charge me for the yearly subscription which is not what I signed up for. It did not inform me that I was going to be charged $70, I clicked the weekly subscription button which was only $1.35. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DECLINE A REFUND!!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨

THIS APP IS A SCAM
I tried the free trial and it seemed to work fine. Upon paying $70 it keeps glitching out and it only records video in pixelated low quality that’s unusable. I tried messaging the app and no one will reply. I requested a refund and no reply. I’ve now contacted Apple to report them and request a refund. $70 is too much for an app that’s broken with zero customer support.
Awful customer service/scam
I use the three day trial and the app was so slow. The recording of my voice sounded off, but I tried to work with it. The trial ended and when I went to look at the app to delete it, it offered me another three day trial. So I thought why not?! I thought maybe in the next three days I would have better luck with the app.
But then I went to my bank account and saw that I was charged $69 I’ve tried to contact PayPal who refused to give me a refund and then I tried to contact the Teleprompter app and I have not gotten a response. So I’m out $69 when I was offered another trial. They need to get that glitch out of the app because now I’ve spent money I didn’t intend on spending and I am very upset with your awful customer service as no one has gotten back to me. I’m not even pleased with the Teleprompter app. CapCut is much better.

TOOK MONEY FROM ME EVEN THOUGH I CANCELED BEFORE TRIAL ENDED
I got the free trial to test out the app for my speech class but it wasn’t really for me because my teacher uses another app not camera. I always cancel subscriptions right after getting them but somehow I wake up in the morning to see a 70 dollar charge. Apple is not refunding me saying it was denied and i called them 3 times. I’ve also submitted a ticket through this app and still no reply. 70 bucks is a lot and some of these people i’ve talked with are rude and ignorant.
Double charged for subscription
Be careful subscribing to this app. I use it to help me record videos for classes so I signed up for the yearly subscription only to be double charged (Aug 29 & Aug 31). I’ve disputed the charge with Apple and the app, but to no avail.

It records with a frame, really bad - you can never get 9:16.

Rip off don’t download
Downloaded this app to attempt to use for my ugc content and realized it wasn’t going to work After unsubscribing on day 2. After free trial was up I was billed 85$ and submitted tickets with no response.

Been trying to load and get to third question and it such a large print it want let me answer question to move forward!! How to fix this??????
It doesn’t work!
Open the app and “To Start” you must answer 3, THREE questions. You can only answer 2. The 3rd there is no place to answer and the “Continue” button is grayed out! Totally stupid app.

Watch out: predatory renewal
I downloaded this app under the impression that it offered a free trial with an option to receive a reminder before the $70 auto-renewal. I specifically selected that reminder option but never received anything. The subscription renewed without notice, and when I reached out for a refund, initially the company encouraged me to reach out to Apple. However, conversations with Apple were useless. Apple claims that the company actually denied the refund on their end after reaching back out to this company. They stopped responding.
After multiple attempts to contact the developers, I’ve still received no meaningful response or support. This is incredibly frustrating, especially given the high cost.
The lack of transparency and customer service is unacceptable. I feel misled and taken advantage of. $70 is not a small amount to just lose, especially when the app failed to deliver on its own stated features.

No Horizontal
This app worked well but the deleting of horizontal recording make this app useless.

Not for YouTubers
I really loved this app, but they no longer have a horizontal format available, which is all I film in. I’m not sure why the formatting is only restricted to vertical now. If you want to film long form content on YouTube, this app will not work for you.
Not what I thought it was
This app wasn’t helpful for me. I thought I was doing only a free trial and then I was charged 69.99!!! And they wouldn’t offer me a refund even though I didn’t use the app how I thought it was intended and it’s already deleted off my phone 🙄
