Scam
I haven’t had any issues with the app up until I asked for my payout, I did the face verification and then issues started to occur. It stated that I wasn’t a user that was authorized or allowed on the platform which is unusual since it’s not like I’ve used it before or been banned. Now that I try to login again it says it’s not available in my region- again not an issue before until I was requesting a payout.
ANOTHER BS MONEY APP
I’ve tried several of these “money apps” and they’re all the same. They either pay just a few pence at a time or they want you to make a deposit and then win your own money back. THIS one didn’t add to my total when I reached multiple targets and I had to reach £21 to request a payout. NOW they’ve upped it to £35 to request a payout and their GOAL “is to enhance the experience for all users.” WHAT A JOKE!! ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! IF I COULD RATE IT ZERO STARS, I WOULD!!! THEY’RE ALL THE SAME!!

Payouts are very slow even after complaints
New update refuses to track your completed goals and forces you to wait for a customer service representative to manually update your earnings especially the closer you get to reaching a payout amount or the end of the list of goals for whatever app it may be!!!! Never had this problem before the new update!!!! The way testerup has wiggled its way around having to pay right away to avoid fraud charges being brought against the developer and shutting them down is insane!!!! Change your ad if you’re going to do everything except what is promised in the ad and in the privacy policy customers agree to upon signing up!!!!

I’ve used testerup from Nov 2024-Dec 2025 with minimum issues. They changed the whole app in January for the worst.
I had over $100 in my app I was saving. Came in next day to “PayPal refund” of $97. This was never resolved. It went on for weeks for them asking for screen caps and videos of my phone. Bro just what did you do with the money?
So then I try again, and now they’re telling me I downloaded the app either incorrectly or already. Well I have never downloaded it & sent screen caps of searching my App Store history.
And I downloaded it from their stupid app.
They changed it to where you must play 2 min before it will work and played 113 levels without a change.
It’s been absolute nonsense.

Still isn’t working
After using this app for a year or so, since getting a new phone it won’t track progress. I’ve tried talking to their support and were no help. Did all the things they recommended, abandoned games I started on the old phone, since they didn’t transfer apparently, with a second download. Tried starting new offers on this new phone and nothing is working. Deleting.

The game said to play a game for 2 minutes and I will get money. I been playing for 5 I have not gotten anything and my friend has been playing for 30 minutes and he has not gotten anything but a dollar.

After my first payout it stopped rewarding me for my milestones. I put a lot of time and effort into this and am very disappointed.
Where’d my money go?
I downloaded this app back in Nov or Dec, managed to get up over $20, now the app had an update, they changed the amount you needed to have to cash out to $35. Fine, whatever. I check the app today, another update, I login, all my money is gone. I go to submit a ticket, I get an error page. I am not happy with this application. They want you to spend money, to earn money through their app; which in hindsight, wasn’t that bad. However, when I logged in with my second email…. Why is the payout $75?! I feel payout shouldn’t be set at any amount. Ridiculous. I would give this a 0/5 stars if I could..
COMPLETE Scam
Things went great for the first few days. I achieved some milestones that didn’t track and, after reaching out to support, was told it was because they detected “irregularities.” Keep in mind, I’ve had 10+ hours of play time on this app. They refused to elaborate and gave a list of “possible” reasons. Complete scam. I’ll be reaching out to the BBB to let them know about their shady business practices. If you want apps that don’t waste your time and lie to you, try Pogo or CoinOut.

Dangerous and complicated
Ive used better apps. You could maybe make a few dollars a week. Honestly the ads for this app are pretty predatory and it encourages you to play games that use dark patterns to encourage addictive behaviors and gambling. By trying to make money with this app you expose yourself to a lot of games that will try to get you to spend money. If you have great self control and infinite time you might be able to do something with this, but the app will benefit more than you and you will be funding their efforts to screw over other people. Its not worth it. Sell your plasma or participate in a survey at your local college.

Whenever I’m opening the app, it is showing ‘404 forbidden’ error to me

Put in a ton of time and effort into trying to get my payout. And when I finally managed to reach the minimum amount to payout, my account was shut down mid transfer. When I tried to troubleshoot my account I was given vague and unhelpful information on why it happened. Thanks for nothing.

Doesn’t Work
I used to love Testerup until their most recent update. For the last few months, Testerup hasn’t been able to track the games I download through the app or my progress. They are games that I haven’t downloaded before, and I always allow them to track my activity. I’ve reported the issue with screenshots and screen recordings, but they come back and basically say that it’s user error and close out the report (or “ticket”) without any resolution. This is time that I could have spent on a different app. It’s really disappointing. Don’t waste your time.

Worked great until completely locked out
I have used this app for sometime now and then had successful payouts with no problem this time when I went to go pay out it said that my face verification was denied and then I got completely logged out of my account and have tried multiple times and multiple methods from the support page on the website to get logged back in none of the suggestions from the website worked now every time I try to login it just says error or sometimes it even says not available in this region I am very upset because I have worked so hard on the games. I had nearly $80 and I had four open tasks one of which I was very close to finishing. When I went on the website to submit a claim about my account, I was unable to due to not being able to get my account since my account was logged out, and I was locked out of it.

The potential to make the money is there but it takes an extremely long time. Also, way too many errors with the system not recognizing the original download. High minimum is majorly inconvenient and 3 days to process is aggravating.

i made an account for this app to try it out. initially i didn't think the surveys paid enough, so i tested a game. i don't play games & i don't play games on my phone... so i didn't like how any of that worked (every game you play has to be downloaded separately on your device and you have to make it to different levels- i don't game so i'd never get there). i deleted that account, but then thought “ok i'll try it again & only do the surveys.” i have a new account- you have to qualify for the surveys first, before you can do any. i can't get “qualified” to do any. i'm sorry... i'm not answering: ‘how much money do you make’ & ‘what's your zip code’ & ‘how many kids do you have and how old are they’ to a random company i know nothing about, that evidently REQUIRES you to enable “cross-tracking” -but at the same time says “info in surveys is not shared with third-parties.” the one survey it did allow me to somehow do, it kicked me off of it after i answered the 2nd question. i understand finding the right people to do the surveys... but there has to be some sort of more generic survey that can be done here without as much “qualification.”

On the add you just showed said she got paid 23 dollars witch isn’t true you must have a minimum of 70 dollars in order to cash out and I have yet to hit the 70 dollars that is required so you definitely need to change the ad because the 23 dollars isn’t true must have 70 or more to cash out
Doesn’t operate well
When i tap “Play & Earn” to start and earn my first reward it takes me to a page on safari that says “403 Forbidden” … excuse me ?
Update?
I have downloaded a couple of games but it won’t track my progress it says to play for 2 minutes which I’ve been playing for about 20 nothing else running in the background so I’m not sure if this is a bug or not

It would be a 5 star but I try to keep track of my progress but it won’t update and I tried to get a new game and I was on there for 2 minutes but the awards still won’t unlock I tried to uninstall and reinstall now it won’t even let me log in :(
