Got charged for an account I never even got access to. No email. No confirmation. When I asked for a refund they said they couldn’t. I haven’t used the app nor do I intend to. What a horrible business.

To see the free camping site, you have to pay. Too many apps. I hated the app. I had to give a bad review even though I am super busy right now.
DO NOT FALL FOR IT
I wrote the developers AND Apple stating that I did not want my subscription WEEKS AGO (April 2026) and they’ve tried charging me multiple times and will not remove my subscription though I’ve reached out multiple times at least 3x a week. I’m not able to download apps, pay for the apps I currently own, etc.
Draconian cancel policy
The app is promising. Sites that were full did open but by the time (minutes later) I got to recreation.gov the site was taken. 1 star is for the cancel policy. They default to auto renew which I missed by a day and won’t anything despite zero usage. I get auto renew but if I caught it a day late and am not using why not refund?
Expensive
It’s super expensive, i canceled the free trail because im looking for free campsites but there are hardly any. It charged me $65 anyways. Now I try to look at free campsites in a different states and it wants me to pay another $60 for the pro!!

No dispersed camping
Does not show dispersed camping spots, which is why I downloaded, so I’ll just stick to Google Maps
Added campgrounds that are not campgrounds
Recently I noticed that many “first come first serve campgrounds” have been added to the map in Colorado. In attempting to visit these spots I’ve found nothing that resembles a campground. Most of the time they’re trailheads or near dispersed camping areas, but rarely have they been legal places to sleep. Reviews at these newly added campgrounds can typically confirm this with several users stating they wasted their time attempting to camp there, but the effort I must go through to verify a campground’s status by recent reviews is annoying. Not to mention wasting hundreds of dollars in fuel driving to campgrounds that don’t exist. At the very least these “sites” that your algorithm has identified should have a unique label so I can filter them out. I’ve appreciated your interface as a Pro member for years, but don’t plan on renewing as there are now better alternatives.

Not easy to delete account
Update- I've been waiting a month and they still have not deleted my camp and they have no phone numbers to contact and do not respond to emails. Avoid at all costs!
These clowns make it nearly impossible for you to delete your account. They don't allow you to delete online or via the app, you have to send them an email requesting to delete it and yet they never reply. Ridiculous

No free camping. False advertising
I did the seven day free trial to find free camping and all the “hidden” sites they provided were not free just more fancy and more expensive. On top of that they want 60 dollars to look at their not free campsites. The dyrt can suck an egg
Wasn’t for me
Signed up for free trial. Went to Utah out of service for several days and forgot about the trial. My mistake. Couldn’t get any refund because I missed the grace period for cancellation while I was out. Customer support refused to make any exception for refund.
Just a useless cashgrab.
USE GOOGLE. ITS FREE. ITS ACCURATE. IT ACTUALLY GIVES THE INFORMATION FOR THE “free” CAMPS SO YOU CAN FIGURE OUT ITS NOT FREE BEFORE YOU GET SCAMMED INTO IT
Stole money with auto renewal
I’ve never signed up for an auto renewal and boom. A surprise, non refundable, charge to my debit card. Good app but do not pay for it.

Buggy app money LOST
This is absolutely unacceptable. I am unable to restore my subscription and the support is awful. Don’t waste your money. Also when you pay it’s not always the best price they offer multiple rates for the same pro subscription. BEWARE!!!
Capitalism ruined this app
This used to be awesome. A great resource for camping. Now if you want to see FREE camping you have to pay. Absolutely not, capitalism ruined this resource. I paid for premium before because I could and wanted to support a great app. But locking the good part behind the subscription is greedy. Byyyeee Dyrt! I’ll just go back to researching my public lands before a trip.
Not very helpful
Generally, when using a paid camping app you want it to provide something valuable. Have not found that to be the case while I was a member. 1. Never got scanning for cancelled sites to do anything. It’s much easier to go to recreation.gov and put in your own searches and notification requests. That has worked much better in getting hard to book sites. 2. Does not work in Canada. Zero. Nothing. 3. All the other information they provide is readily available on other free sites (Campendium for one. Google is another). Bottom line, save your nickel and don’t sign up for paid membership with this app.
Auto Renew Rocks
I like this app and every few years I’ll pay for it for the cellular maps and good boondocking recommendations. But somehow without fail, the “auto renew”function seems to get toggled on and I continue to pay for it years after not needing it. Fun.

I had the free trial of Pro. There’s no way to unsubscribe. The support page sent me to a website with directions. The link described didn’t exist.
On the app there’s a button to delete the account. It went to a blank page.

Did I miss something?
I was looking for a routing app that could ensure I don’t get trapped on roads or bridges that I can’t fit through. It’s exactly what this app advertised however, once I subscribed, I tried to research how to put in my RV height, and it said these features are not yet available. Simple. Don’t advertise what you don’t do.
