I signed up for the free trial with the understanding that I would be notified before the trial ended. I was not notified, and instead of being charged for a first month, I was charged for an entire year.
I understand how app subscriptions and trials work, and I know users are responsible for managing subscriptions. That said, I would never knowingly authorize or choose an annual subscription for an app I had only just tried. I always choose monthly billing for new apps, especially before deciding whether I actually use them.
I had already deleted the app and contacted Apple immediately after seeing the charge, but my refund request was denied. I’m extremely disappointed with this experience and the way the subscription converted into a full-year charge without a clear reminder or opportunity to cancel beforehand.

Charged Without Notice
Very sad to see a $94 charge that I didn't authorize. Most companies send an email giving you a heads up that your trial period is ending soon. If you have a busy life and forgot to put the trial expiration on your calendar thinking you're going to get an email ... watch out because I checked my inbox and didn't get one. Instead, an entire expensive year was charged. I'm working on trying to get a refund. Will update the review if so.

Reduced offerings and raised price
I loved this app before and specifically the Arielle Schwartz tappings for the vagus nerve, as well as several of Jessica Ortner’s tappings. I had downloaded them and they were my go tos. The app changed and now on top of the $94 annual subscription, it’s an additional $94 to access these tappings. Very disappointingly. So much of the content is now like this. I will be canceling my subscription unless this changes.

I got charged for a whole year of service and I can’t get a refund. It’s way too expensive to have full access.
Makes you rate your stress on phone after tapping
I found one tapping I liked by Jessica to get to sleep, but just like all of the other tapping exercises, you have to get back into your device and re-rate your stress level. Plz take off that stupid re-rating bc getting back onto a device after one is relaxed is stressful. U have to either punch in a phone passcode or turn on the light for the phone to recognize you if it’s dark and you’ve been trying to sleep. Go to YouTube and find a tapping practice you can remember. These people with the App did NOT invent tapping.
Unable to cancel subscription
Followed instructions to cancel but money is still taken from my account. I am retired and living on a very limited amount of money. I cannot afford this expense anymore.

I was charged $110 for a yearly subscription that was supposed to have been cancelled. They deny all refund requests. I liked the app until this horrible customer service interaction. They are thieves! STAY AWAY!!

I have used the Tapping Solution for several years. It has been very helpful. After no mention of God or Jesus Christ, they have now added “card reading”.
I am DONE. I have found other resources like Christ Centered Tribe (Sandra) on YouTube and she is now offering EFT tapping as well. I would’ve continued using the app if they had a more balanced approach to meet all audience beliefs.

Not really free
Very few free options on the app which is fine, everyone is entitled to make money and profit from their work, bit would be nice to know that before wasting time scrolling through the whole thing
No Customer Support
I am being billed for two accounts. Cannot reach anyone to help fix this. They post an email address that doesn’t work. There is no phone number. Only recourse is to refuse the payment through the credit card.

Listed as free without a note of in app purchases and then costs $95. I just wanted help and support through this tool and I can’t get it the help I need. Super frustrating.

I was not aware of the 46 plus dollars payment for this app… the ‘taping solution’ method can be found for free on YouTube. I find it very disappointing the ja h of monetary transparency for an app that is supposed to help NOT distress people with outrages prices.

Depression exercises
I have tapped for over 500 days and 70+ hours. Ive tried Dr Silas’ and started them many times, but only finished them once. Back story…I’ve suffered with depression that I can identify since 5th grade. I’m now on the low side if 70. I will not do another 5 step of Dr Silas’ long exercises. Sorry to use that term, but I find them extremely hard to listed too for the full time and in the 5 segments.
I find the 5 parts series very difficult to complete because each session is, in this depression sufferers opinion, are way way too long for someone suffering from depression. You need some shorter exercises and a one step 8/10 minute instead of the 5 step 14min plus ones. As you should know, it is extremely difficult to concentrate when depressed and the longer one of the exercises takes, the less likely that a depressed person will pay attention or finish all five.
As I said above, please find it in you efforts to add single sessions in the short to medium length 3-10 minutes. In the meantime I will search for other purveyors of the tapping system with a better understanding of why the long winded and multiple session don’t work for at least my needs.

Too expensive and too much upselling
I really want to love this app. The process of tapping is very enjoyable and helpful.
But I find it gross that people think it’s ok to charge so much money. Why is just making a good living off their product not enough? Why this need to become not just well-off, but very rich? Specially on other people’s need and suffering. This family did not invent tapping. They do not own it. They have made a friendly nice app.
It’s not healthy for us as individuals, not healthy for them to be so greedy, not healthy for our society. Not healthy to constantly be put through sales pitches on everything, even the so-called ‘mindfulness apps’. Why contribute to this sickness in our society that is becoming our downfall.
Yes, of course they can charge whatever they want and I don’t have to buy it. But the greed and the amount of effort and resources put into it makes me sad. And it’s not going to end well for any of us.
