Waiting for update to make morning shake
On one hand, this is supposed to be modern smart device. On the other hand, it boots for a minute and updates only when it's supervised, like 20 years ago. 2005 tech is not smart at all. It's ancient. Boot times are instant. Updates happen during periods of inactivity, not wasting person's time.
Not a tech company
The machine works great, I have consistently been amazed by it… The interface leaves a lot to be desired. Your profile should be able to mark your dietary needs so that only those recipes come up, such as vegetarian or vegan or gluten-free. And your country or region having to match on your profile and your Thermo mix for them to sink… I want to be able to switch so that different recipes come up from different areas… and I can’t always multiply the recipe the way that I want to, so it should be easy to always change the recipe serving size and automatically change the recipe. The search function just really isn’t the best. And not being able to access other user created recipes is quite frustrating it depends on which region you’re in.
Bypasses notification restrictions
I have all notifications turned off for Cookidoo but it still gives a sound notifications even when my phone an Apple watch are in a strict Do Not Disturb mode with no notifications allowed whatsoever. Additionally it gives an alert on my Apple watch even though I removed the app from my watch.
Can’t log in to app
The app is useless. I can log in on the website to look up and save recipes but the app doesn’t let me log in, saying my credentials are incorrect. No customer service, no help. Useless.

Complete scam company
Do not buy this expensive product you will be sadly disappointed, especially if you live in France and don’t speak French. Please know that if your language does not match your billing address you’re gonna be very upset and unable to use something you paid almost $2000 for the customer service is appalling they don’t care anything about you once they have your money
Bricked
The app is currently bricked. I can only login to website and there doesn’t seem to be any customer service or technical support.
No language transition
They claim that you can cook all the country’s special foods. Yet, when you try another world cuisine but you CAN’T. Because ingredients list and prep is another language. It’s very simple upgrade for IT developer team. Please update.
Missing info
Some recipes are missing steps and there is no obvious way to submit feedback or point out what it wrong
The new app is not user friendly
If you are using filters for your search, you need to start over every time you want to change your search. Filters are hidden. This new design is not helping with the user experience.
Terrible company
I cancelled my subscription over a year ago, and they continued to charge me even after I cancelled. Even after calling and telling them that I had cancelled, they refused to refund me. Also the product isn’t very good, I would NOT recommend.
Don’t fix what isn’t broken
The value of Thermomix is the vast network on recipes. Without the recipes the machine is just another appliance. I also suspect Cookidoo subscription is the money maker of this company. There’s one big problem that seems pretty easy yo solve but it hasn’t, actually they made it worst in the most recent update. Recipes are siloed by country and language. If you want to cook a German dish you better speak German. This was an annoyance more than a problem for me, I could just share the recipe with the ChatGPT app and let it translate and build a shopping list for me. But now they change the app so that sharing recipes and ingredients as pure text is ok longer possible. This makes the cooking experience 10X worse. Of course you can take screenshots and do that but why? Clearly the team or company developing Cookiedoo are not using Thermomix often, so they don’t understand what they broke and why it is such a big deal for daily users like me.
Improve Login Process and Ingredients Display
Please, please, pleeeease! Consider updating the Thermomix unit so it is not constantly logging users out of their Cookidoo account and/or Wi-Fi. As brilliant as this device is, it’s very frustrating to constantly have to re-enter my email address and password because the device is not able to save it. The same applies for the Wi-Fi information. It should be able to remember previous connections/passwords.
Also, please update the ingredients lists so the quantity is listed before the ingredient name. The new layout takes up a significant amount of space and makes it more difficult to see the entire overview of ingredients when reviewing the recipe.
Annnnd, to agree with quite a few reviewers, please bring back the ability to copy the recipe into a translator, or as others have wisely suggested, give users the ability to select the language that displays for each recipe. This is a pricey app. I would much rather see improved functionality/flow over new recipes in the next few months.

money hungry
everything costs money, even after buying such an expensive machine. worse thing is, one day (after using the recipes for over a year) it tells me to pay, something which i never had to do before.
App needs updates
The Thermomix is awesome. I was skeptical and for the price, I wondered whether I would actually use it, but I do and I love how easy it is.
The app needs updates! I see people’s recipe review stars, but we don’t get to comment or add variations. Are badly reviewed items getting replaced?
I also wish there were more searching options. Poultry, Seafood, Pasta, etc… I tried adding some ingredients I had (chicken and onions) to see what types of recipes I would get and it maybe gave me two? Surely that’s not right.
Finally, it would be a DREAM if we could import recipes from all websites into this database. Even the options to import from other “communities “ are a pain.

Great product stupid subscription
After forking over $1500 for the TM6 it is absolutely asinine to then pay a yearly fee for full access to the app

Foreign recipes should be translated
There are thousands of recipes here from other kitchens and cultures which I can’t understand because Thermomix doesn’t translate them. There should be a universal translation to your desired language, which seems easy enough given todays tech.
Prettified and dumbed down
The instructions have been removed from what it pretends to be a recipe. Why would I want to start the thermomix device to step through the phases, only to realize I don’t want to execute this recipe.

Terrible update
The way the recipes are now listed is like NO cookbook or online recipe source. Why are you listing an image first, then an ingredient name, then a quantity? The way all cook’s brains are trained is: quantity then ingredient. If you need to add a photo of an ingredient it should be last. Personally I would like the option to hide the images because it is clutter.
The new update does not allow someone to copy the text and add it to a translator. So now you’ve removed needed functionality.
Additionally, all the time spent on this update and the one thing so many people have asked for is the ability to choose what language the recipe is provided in. Instead of having 8 of the same recipe cluttering the database, have ONE recipe with the option to choose the language it is presented in.

Connection with thermomix
I’m logged in on my thermomix but it says the subscription is expired even then it’s not
Clumsy
The entire interface is clumsy. Also, not being able to create or modify recipes and be able to use the entire set of options for the ThermoMix is ridiculous.
My list of suggestions:
Recipes should be able to be added to more than one collection.
Recipes should allow adding notes as I would like to possibly customize, suggest substitutions, keep track of results, feedback, and dates when I’ve prepared the recipe.
