Forced to pay!!
The app took it upon itself to charge me a year’s worth of a subscription I didn’t want!! And now it is blocking my ability to update my other apps because I refuse to pay for something I didn’t want!! The app was not what I needed and the owner passed the issue to Apple!! No help at all!!
Not reliable
Not only does this app not work half the time, when it does pull up, it gives wildly optimistic estimates and just flat out makes up stuff about your item.

Pop ups
Please stop popping up and asking for a rating every time I scan an item. Every time! I paid to use this app I shouldn’t have to deal with pop ups. Please refund.
Overall review
I love the concept however. The tools offered are all priced separately which question the integrity let alone quality in the product. Too many read errors when taking photos when I uploaded for scanning. And prices while they varied we not accurate when processing comparing on multiple sites including Facebook marketplace.
Didn't work at all!
I scanned multiple items, but it kept saying “something went wrong on our end.” Very disappointing. Trying to cancel before my trial ends and it's not even showing up. I hate being tricked. Now they have my credit card number!

SCAMMER AND THIEF
My friend sent me a code for 3 MONTHS of a free subscription which is advertised on the app and ThriftAI charged my credit card after 3 DAYS. Absolutely disgusting. Do not support this scam business and app.
THIS APP IS GARBAGE!!!
I have no idea how this app has a 4.8! I purchased the unlimited scan option AND the "post through" options. Neither of which works well enough for the effort! The app thinks EVERYTHING IS CLOTHING, even when you have CLEARLY selected "home decor", "antique", or other. What an absolute waste of money!
Don’t bother
Accidentally paid a year for this app. Worked the first couple of times and then stopped. Just get error messages when trying to price. What a waste. You contact support and it says if it’s regarding your subscription or wanting a refund, your email will be ignored.

I tried the app and didn’t find it useful. I hadn’t used it whatsoever except for the first day I downloaded it. I got charged the full subscription and immediately canceled and requested a refund given it was automatically charged and I didn’t want it NOR USED IT WHATSOEVER. Every other developer has no problem refunding the subscription fee when I’ve canceled the day it renewed by auto renew. Their response says it all. Zero stars. Horrible customer service.

I did not find this to be accurate. I used it one full day at different thrift stores, and compared what it told me with what I was finding on eBay.
It also sold me an extra sell through rate option that apparently was not part of the trial. I would appreciate a refund on that as I cannot use it if I’m not going to use the app.

Time waste
If you want to spend five minutes, going through stupid questions and being required to answer each one of them before you’re hit with the bill, this is the app for you.
Professional beggars
You create an app, lure people into it by all the survey questions you ask, collect that data for market analysis but never show what your platform is really like- whether it’s user friendly, whether you actually provide valuable feedback on the items or not, whether you do comparative analysis and allow to post on other platform or for selling, or do you have a selling platform where you take a percentage commission to run your platform? Immediately after the survey ends you start begging for money even without showing your product! So the user does all the hard work of investing their time and energy and money to travel to places, scan using this app just to find what? I could do the research myself manually by clicking the pic and checking on eBay and spend less money. Why should I pay you for doing nothing? What are you, a digital Ponzi schemer? Stupid concept.

Not good used for data mining
Bad application you can’t even try it without signing up for a trial subscription and it asks to many questions upon opening the app, try google lens it does a better, faster job for free without asking any information from you

Not worth the money
I paid for a whole year thinking that this app would help with identifying items I sell. I work with estates, I shop on antique stores, thrift store and anywhere vintage items can be found. It says it will work to give you the value and show you samples of sales for that item. But man, It’s unreal how often it gives no help. I can hardly ever get the app to load up the example sites or images that are supposedly like the one I took a picture of, it just sits there saying it’s loading. And when it does load in a rare moment, the items shown have nothing to do with the item I have given them. Furthermore, It gives a value of an item that is not even in my own country’s currency. Then sometimes it’s in my currency. It’s wildly inconsistent. And frequently the value this app gives, is so far off base when I compare it to other apps or sales that share actual comparatives or the ones I locate online myself.
I had such high hopes for this app. But at the end of two months of use - it’s just garbage. It adds nothing to help me with my work load. Every single time they do an update I have such hope again. But it doesn’t fix the issues.

SCAM ALERT FAKE REVIEWS BEING PAYED
I tried to use the app and it wouldn’t let me use it unless I paid the premium of $30. Every single review is odd. Just concentrated have been used to pay the app. Not a real app guys fake.

This app does the new age thing where they make you tap through 20+ screens at the start with BS questions then start asking for personal info, asking to track you in other apps and inevitably try to sign you up for a subscription INSTANTLY without even trying the app. You CAN NOT try it without spending money and if you manage to reject the “offer” it locks you to a “special” offer. The app is an AI scam like all the rest. Just use google images and do your research yall, it takes literally seconds.

Makes you go through 25 minutes of questions and you can’t access anything without putting a card on file. I will not give any payment details until I can try it at least once !

First you have to answer a bunch of questions to use the app and then once you take a picture of an item to search it pops up with a bunch of offers that you can’t close out of. Not free. Why can’t we at least look up one item for free to see how it works
They want my money before they even explain what it is.

Waisted 39.99 on a bs app
At first when the app was free I loved this app. Once I spent 39.99 for the yearly subscription I kept getting bogus prices. For instance last week I took a pic of an all-clad tea pot stainless knowing I can get 120 easy for it and the app suggested a resell price of 15$. Over looked it and sold at 130$. Just got back on here and have an antique lamp from Aladdin lamps knowing it will sell for a min of 150$ it suggested 15$ resale price. I’m done I bought the subscription 2 weeks ago and I regret it. Wish I never found this app. Complete joke. Wish I had my hard worked money back in my pocket. Even if they don’t give me my money back I won’t be using this app ever again. Don’t screw your self.

Had a trial period and was charged 43.99 when it was supposed to be 39.99 first of all, and Apple won’t refund nor will the app so I was robbed.

I answered 7 questions before being able to use the app and wasn’t even half way done. Stop making people do that and just let us sign up. I deleted it because of just that.

I don’t use many apps, but I can honestly say so far this one is my favorite. I have been recommending thirftAI to everyone!! I love Thrifting I go at least four times a week. I like that you guys mentioned it being like a treasure hunt because that’s exactly how I describe it. You don’t get it unless you’re a thrift or a serious thrifter or the fact that I could make money doing what I absolutely love has inspired me truly a great app

Requires a subscription to use
Don’t bother. The app immediately takes you through a long pointless survey just to require you to sign up for a subscription to access it. There is no way to bypass this and there are no free features. The only thing that is “free” is they offer a free trial for a few days.

Used the free trial, canceled within a day when it kept churning out generic “colorful dinosaur toy - $10” descriptions of items I knew the value of. 3 days later it charged me $5.

Several times, the app has been completely unavailable or essentially unusable because of server delays, traffic, or whatever is happening on the back end. That is a major issue for an app that is supposed to help you make quick decisions while you are actively shopping. If I am standing in a thrift store trying to decide whether something is worth buying, I cannot wait around for the app to load, fail, freeze, or become unavailable.
For a paid app, the basic functionality needs to be dependable. I understand that AI features can be expensive to run and that apps can have traffic spikes, but that should not fall on paying users in the form of an app that sometimes just does not work when needed.
The idea is good, but the reliability is not there yet. Until the server/performance issues are fixed, I cannot recommend paying for it.
