Account Incorrectly Flagged While Receiving Ticket Transfers
This is the second time in a single week that my account has been paused for supposedly suspicious activity or inappropriate behavior.
In both cases, I was simply receiving ticket transfers for different events. The problem is that Ticketmaster does not allow me to fully accept transferred tickets within the app. Instead, I have to open an external browser, accept the transfer there, and only then can I view the ticket in the app.
Switching back and forth between the Ticketmaster app and an external mobile browser appears to trigger your security system, which then incorrectly flags my account and blocks access. This is extremely frustrating and creates unnecessary stress for legitimate users.
Please fix this issue. If users need to receive transferred tickets, the entire process should work directly within the app rather than forcing them to use an external browser. Your current system is causing problems for customers who are simply trying to access tickets that were legitimately transferred to them.

I haven’t been able to get a valid receipt from Ticketmaster for my tickets since purchasing them. I haven’t been able to get answers regarding alternatives to Apple Pay, which only supports FaceID. Not a pleasant experience.

Awful
Customer service is awful, and even when admitting they banned your account for no reason, they refuse to do anything about it. Don’t trust Ticketmaster unless you want to have to worry constantly about losing tickets you payed for and losing an account you’ve had for years over genuinely nothing. Their “safety” assurances do nothing but harm their customers.

The most incompetent ticket selling service
I have had a very terrible experience trying to get tickets for high demand concerts. I was flagged as a bot when I was trying to buy tickets that sold out quickly. I have been asked to submit IDs twice to verify I’m a real human and I’ve done it both times, but not reply whatsoever. I risk exposing my identity data to verify I’m a real human just to receive unsatisfying replies and incompetence. Extremely outraged and disgusted.

I DO NOT store my credit card in sites. I DO NOT appreciate being forced to store my card, just so I can purchase these tickets. I will frequent Avondale much less, if at all. I will make sure to let their management know that it is because of ticketmaster policy.

has locked me out of my account in the middle of trying to buy tickets to a show, it keeps saying suspicious activity and clearly thinks i’m a bot. i understand the wanting to prevent the use of bots and resellers from getting tickets but you’re preventing REAL people from getting tickets legitimately.. i’ve been locked out of my account for over an hour now and freaking out cause ive tried using the website or app and neither will let me purchase 2 tickets for me and my friend. ticketmaster needs to have a better method to prevent bots or at the VERYYY LEAST have a way to reclaim your account by proving you’re not a bot cause this is ridiculous.

Extremely Disappointing
Sat on Ticketmaster for 8 hours trying to get concert tickets. So many glitches and time outs. Even when I finally was able to get tickets in my cart on 3 occasions, each time I got a checkout error and lost the tickets. Could not be more disappointed

Creating an account
If you’re going to make an app for smartphones then it should work with smartphones. If you can’t full create an account using the app on the smartphone then what’s the point of the app. You’d think a major company like this would be able to do it. Customer service was no help as well.

Glitchy chat UI and terrible support
I spent 45 minutes trapped in an app support loop trying to do a simple seat exchange, resulting in zero resolution and endless waiting.
The interface is completely broken:
Glitchy UI & Accessibility Failures: The mobile keyboard constantly glitches and fails to pop up unless you repeatedly exit and re-enter the menu. Once you can type, the chat uses a light gray font that is difficult to read and violates WCAG contrast guidelines.
Outdated App Integration: Despite being logged in, the app failed to pass my account or order history to the chat. In this day and age, forcing a user to manually provide data the app already has is either pure technical laziness or intentional friction designed to make getting help as slow as possible.
Completely Unresponsive Support: The agent, Joan, relied entirely on rigid scripts and didn’t seem to actually read or process anything I typed. I had to provide the exact same information three times because she was just copy-pasting canned responses instead of engaging in the conversation, causing massive delays between every reply.
Because this app is plagued by technical bugs and agonizingly slow support that doesn't actually listen, the tickets I wanted were sold out while I was waiting. Ticketmaster needs to fix these glitches and build a self-service exchange button.

Had issues placing two orders back to back on website and attempted to contact customer service and the caller kept telling us that there were no tickets available for the event. The worst online buying experience I’ve ever had. After trying several times to buy 6 concert tickets and the tickets suddenly being not available 5 minutes after I reserved them and my payment method being removed my browsing activity was paused for “unusual behavior”. Make sure to check your app and tickets every day
Me and someone purchased concert tickets, we were lucky enough to be able to get tickets before they sold out. Fast forward a month before the trip. Ticketmaster voided our tickets due to us not completing a security check. Mind you we had no issues buying the tickets and never received an email which Ticketmaster says they sent. Ontop of that on their website when talking about this security check says “This won’t affect fans from signing into their Ticketmaster account or managing existing tickets” which is just a lie as our tickets are voided and Ticketmaster told us the only way to get tickets is to buy more, which are now priced at 3k. An entire week long trip planned around this concert ruined. Not to mention when you call Ticketmaster, they tell you to talk to Persona Security. THERES ISNT EVEN A SUPPORT NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM. Live and learn, I’ve learned not to even think about using Ticketmaster.
