I genuinely cannot explain how frustrating and unbelievably poorly designed this experience was. I joined early, made sure my Wi-Fi was perfectly fine, refreshed nothing, followed every instruction exactly, and somehow Ticketmaster STILL failed to let me enter the queue. Meanwhile, other people were getting in without issues while I was stuck staring at a loading screen like the app forgot I existed.
Before anyone says “it was probably your internet,” no - every other app and website on my phone worked completely normally. Streaming worked. Messages worked. Browsing worked. The ONLY thing failing was Ticketmaster. It’s honestly ridiculous that one of the biggest ticketing companies in the world still can’t handle basic queue systems during high-demand sales.
What makes it worse is the complete lack of transparency. There was no clear error message, no explanation, no warning, nothing helpful at all. Just endless loading and confusion while tickets disappeared in real time. Watching an event you were excited for sell out because the app itself malfunctioned is beyond infuriating.
People spend real money, real time, and a ridiculous amount of stress preparing for these sales, and Ticketmaster acts like users should just accept random technical failures as normal. The waiting room and queue system are supposed to prevent chaos, yet somehow they create even more chaos because they seem completely unreliable.
This company has had YEARS to improve its systems, and somehow the experience still feels outdated, buggy, and unfair. Fans should not have to pray that the app decides to function correctly for five minutes. Missing out on tickets because of demand is one thing. Missing out because Ticketmaster’s system failed while my Wi-Fi was completely stable is another.

No matter what platform I tried it on. App, Safari, Desktop it would not accept my Debit Card. I took my business someplace else and will not be recommending this as a. Ticket option to any one.

This review is less for Ticketmaster, the app, and more for Ticketmaster, the company giving content to its app-based form. Ticketmaster (the app) is actually quite slick and functional in effectuating the goals of Ticketmaster (the company) which are apparently (1) to ensure the hapless consumer (who has no choice in the market because Ticketmaster is a monopoly) interact with Ticketmaster (the company) as much as possible via Ticketmaster (the app); and (2) to coerce the hapless and choiceless consumer into waiving various rights in exchange for access to the tickets the consumer has already ostensibly purchased. Why must one waive one’s right to bring a class action (any lawsuit, actually, because of the mandatory arbitration provision) against Ticketmaster (the company and probably the app too) simply to “accept” tickets one has already bought? Why must one download Ticketmaster (the app) to in turn download tickets that one has already bought and can see on the Ticketmaster website via a web browser but cannot access in usable form without the app? These and various other questions haunt me at night. I deleted the app as soon as I got my tickets into my Apple wallet.

Ordered tickets via my computer, two different shows. Tried to get a third show. All of a sudden Ticketmaster says the card isn't authenticated. Spent an hour with their customer service. They tried and tried with no success. Finally tried the app on my phone. It worked. Makes it hard to want to do business with them.
Dynamic Pricing
Be prepared to pay at least double your ticket prices in fees. I hate Ticketmaster. They are scum of the Earth. They overcharge fans and the money doesn’t even go to the artist. It just goes into their greedy pockets. Really hope they get sued and go bankrupt. Last concert I wanted to go to, the artist was selling tickets for $70 but when I went on Ticketmaster, they were up charging so that two tickets cost about $300 with all their stupid fees. Absolute insanity. Dynamic pricing should be illegal.

I am trying to just search a local venue and the app blocks me out with a message “your browsing activity has been paused blah blah blah” and this issue is not getting settled. I read on Reddit that many other people are experiencing this headache and there is no solution. Please break up this monopoly and let us buy tickets in peace.
NC Symphony iPhone wallet
I am unable to download tickets purchased from Ticketmaster’s partner through Ticketmaster into my iPhone wallet. I only receive options to sell transfer or exchange.
I have discussed this with the North Carolina Symphony ticket Management and with iPhone AppleCare.
The North Carolina Symphony does not have an app and the tickets must be downloaded from their website. This has been an ongoing issue for over two years. I just received my 2026/2027 for the pop series and the problem still exists. I purchased tickets for May 8, 2026 concert with the same results.

Usher and Chris Brown Concert
I am very displeased in the initial prices for this concert on Ticketmaster. I signed up for the presale and one day later there was an additional show added with tickets being half the price and then they (Ticketmaster) doubled back and lowered the tickets to half price for the first show.
What is the benefit in signing up for the presale if you’re not going to get tickets that are priced the same for all!!! I feel I should be refunded the difference in price. A very upset customer!!!!!!!!

I have tried to change my number which I no longer have access to but in call it send me links to verify my identity and once I finish the process satisfactory (the old number is not deleted I have already repeated the process times and nothing else does not work )the worst thing is that it all the options they give just is the worst support 👎

While listing tickets, the app crashed during price entry. After logging back in, part of my listing was posted at an incorrect price and sold immediately. This was clearly due to a system malfunction.
Despite contacting support right away, I was told there is no guarantee of resolution due to their policy.
A platform handling high-value transactions should have safeguards against errors like this. Very disappointing experience.

Exchange policy and ticket selling practices
Bought tickets April 10th for $58.00 each for lawn seats. My friends bought their tickets 19 days later and Ticketmaster is forcing them to buy seats for $40.00 each. When I called to ask them to exchange the tickets they said I would have to pay an additional $10.00 per ticket. Why would I need to pay more when I am exchanging the tickets for lesser value? Clearly not a customer oriented policy and definitely shady selling strategy.

I would only ever use Ticketmaster if there was no other way to buy tickets for a show, because it’s awful and provides nothing of value to the live entertainment experience. The only thing it does provide is unnecessary trouble accessing tickets and fees for absolutely nothing.
