For some reason i’m getting no sound whatsoever. Have my phone and the sound settings in the game maxed. Nothing. Hit the report bug button in game but don’t expect anything to come of it. Going to request refund
taptap login failure
Totally unable to get into the game because taptap kept popping up for registering and asking for phone number, but it doesn’t support US phone number. Seriously?

What is the “Taptap” thing and why do I have to register it? I just want to play a game, why does this thing ask for my phone number? And most importantly, the Taptap thing doesn’t go through EVEN after I provided my number, meaning it’s impossible to open this game. Are you kidding me?

Tap to start
Doesn’t work. It starts off with a user agreement looking thing in a language I can’t read. After I touch things, it moves to a “tap to start” screen, with more stuff written in a language I can’t read. No matter how much I tap to start, nothing happens. I’m going to ask Apple for a refund 👎🏼.

Controls were a deal-breaker
I tried playing this twice on my iPad, including once on an international flight when I had very few options for entertainment. Both times I gave up because the controls are terrible. There are two options - touch a place on-screen to go there, or use your left thumb like a joystick. Maybe the joystick thing works better on a smaller screen, but it was just awful, and touch-to-walk was terrible too. Either way, the simple task of walking to an object to interact with it, or simply trying to exit a room via a small door, was full of frustrating moments. I don’t mind slow games or story games or minimalistic games or games with lots of dialog, but I have finally deleted this from both of my devices because I know I’ll never get past those awful controls.
Awful
I read the reviews and thought I’d give this game a shot. Wish I hadn’t spent money on it. There’s no way to fast forward past the unnecessary chat and no instructions on how or where to go. I like Zelda and other similar games, but this was awful. Wish I could get a refund
Not what I expected... in a bad way
Well, I got this game thinking it would be cool to play. The other comments were positive, and I eventually spent the 5 dollars on it. After it installed, I soon discovered its true nature... The game itself is OKAY. The story is nice, and the characters are average. (Doctor watts has a good joke from time to time). The layout of the game is the bad part. The characters are pixel art, and the backgrounds are... painted? This is so disorienting. If you like being nauseous, this is the game for you.

This game is terrible. It's tedious, boring, and overall simply not worth the money.
The writing is entertaining, but most of the game is less experiencing the writing and story and more searching for five near-random objects to tap on, with nearly no indication of what to click. It's pretty much just a walking simulator.
The story is interesting, but, in my opinion, not very good. The more intruiging plot aspects are never truly explored, and only touched on. At no point did I ever feel touched or teary-eyed.
This game is a waste. Don't get it.

Serious bug
I have tried and tried and tried on both my phone and iPad but every time the section with the horses does not work-- I’ve looked on line I know what I a, supposed to do-but the token you are supposed to get for going along the far left side never comes and there is no section with a pond to go by. A game you can’t progress in is ultimately a failure
The worst
I can’t believe I wasted money on this junk. What a terrible game. Graphics are cheap and the so called story line is lame and boring!!! I was interested in the purchase of this app by all of the positive reviews, but now I’m wondering who are these people who are writing these reviews. I would love a refund :(.

Also, it’s not formatted for the latest devices; when I opened the game on my iPad, first off, it was in an Asian language (although, language is set to English), and, secondly, some of the setting’s buttons/icons are off screen.
hopefully, these issues, and iCloud sync implementation, gets fixed soon.

Not a game, just a movie
Look, I liked the story and am glad I watched it, but I could’ve watched a 5 minute trailer for the game and come away as fulfilled. This is NOT a game. There are a few *extremely* easy puzzles and lots of walking around touching stuff which results in dialogue and cut-scenes. Neat idea, but not a game. A very *slightly* interactive movie, and that is all.
Walking Simulator
I have never written a review before but I was so disappointed that I had to do one for this game. All these other reviews are raving about how good the story was. I found it to be lacking. It was funny at times, but it was mostly a bunch of groaners. There is very little gameplay here. It is mostly a bunch of cut scenes. I appreciate that someone put a lot of work into this (it at least looks pretty). So for anyone that is into these types of games, this is for you. It wasn’t for me.
Sooo boring...
Downloaded this after reading all the stellar reviews. Was expecting an inception like puzzle game with lots of twist in a great story. But this game is so boring and repetitive. Gameplay in minimal. Story is slow and at some points ethically questionable. “Twists” seems forced and are uninteresting. Played for several hours thinking it would change, but it kept going on. I rarely write reviews but feel there needs to be more contrary opinions out there for this game.
Not impressed
After reading all the great reviews, I thought I’d give this a try. The story line is mediocre, dialogue is written on a third grade level (with a little profanity thrown in), graphics and action remind you of an early 1980’s video game. The music is the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars instead of one. Not worth $4.99.
Why is this so well loved?
This is mostly a story rather than a game for anyone over the age of 9. The graphics and music are out of the early 90’s. The game itself is mostly you going around and finding things, and at times is tedious.
And the story, while nice, still isn’t better than many films that are widely available.
This game clearly speaks to many. I’m just left to shrug my shoulders.
