I remember when this game first came out and it was great! casual players become obsolete. strict regulations for limited time events force you to either play the game all day or pay obscene of money to even have a chance to win. i’ve been playing this game on and off for the past five years and it just keeps getting worse and worse. casual players cannot compete in the slightest unless they spend money. i’m truly upset that the car collection i have built is practically useless because every new event forces you to buy new cars that will also become useless in the next update. and the cycle continues.

I have been logging in daily for over 5 years. And I have to say I don’t bother playing anymore because of the pay to win concept that has taken over. It’s honestly ridiculous. Only reason I log in is to collect cars in hope of getting something rare for free and not paying, I refuse to pay to play when things could be like the way they were before.
If i could give this zero stars i would.
Made by money hungry rats who dont care about the community. The game is extremely pay to win. Hard for free to play players to get exclusive cars with all the bs challenges and constant errors.

Welcome to Top Drives, where you the player are the play tester. Multiple times over the last year has the developer launched untested events which later lead to mass players being punished. Don’t bother with support tickets, mine haven’t been answered in months.

Terrible Customer Service - RUDE
I played this game approximately 10 years ago and spent at least a couple hundred bucks on it. One day the app just crashes after a few seconds on the hutch logo. I have reached out to support a multiple times even years apart. Everytime they are the RUDEST people I’ve ever encountered professionally. The speak condescendingly and shift the blame to the customer every chance they get. I explained that they have a bug, but they don’t want to accept accountability. So I have been insanely patient with only backhanded help (last told to factory reset my entire phone and then download the app to prove it’s not my phone that’s the problem😂). To this point in time, I’ve tried all kinds of uninstalling/deleting then redownloading, I’ve changed my Apple ID email. It’s been years of attempting my own fixes. They have tried 0 on their end. Even IF it were on my end still… you couldn’t TRY anything or work WITH me kindly? Like, I’ve tried for a decade. I did last leave them on read because they told me to delete my whole phone after another bad interaction, so I know if they respond here, it will be some reference to their ticket that I didn’t respond to. Sorry, but I use my phone for work and it’s a HUGE commitment for a game to delete all my work. Takes 8-12 hours minimum just to get videos and photos onto external storage. Get real, just check the screen recording I sent and dig into it on your end for once. I really think it’s pathetic that you won’t help me or offer a refund. I’ve been as patient as anyone could hope for a customer to be. Be adults, I’m over the passive aggressive emails.

It’s sad to see when companies become greedy and make their games all about the money. I have bought packs before but for the most part I’ve built my garage for free and I have a decent collection.

How the hell am I to compete with a car that’s fully modded and there’s maybe one or two cars that I have to magically get. Keep buying them packs or again keep camping aka waiting.

Would be a top tier game if the company running wasn’t so bad at their job. Hutch is one of the worst companies. The game is fine, the company policies and lack of care for the customer is beyond rediculous. They seem to actively not want your money.

Car packs
First time spending money on the game I spend 5 bucks for gold so I can buy a Black Friday deal that was two B class cars. I open the pack to get two cars that I already have. Now only owning abt 15 or so B class you would think the game wouldn’t have it set up to give you the same wrong but one would be wrong to think that they purposely make it easier for you to draw the same car to spend more money and time but they will not get it from me.

Downloaded this game ready and excited to play. Opened 10+ times over the course of 5 days and waited 5-8 minutes each time for it to “log-in” to the servers. It never did and I still have yet to play the game because it refuses to “connect”.

Beginning Quest
I love this game. I played it a ton over the first week for the beginning quest to get the Lamborghini. I played for hours a day to get it. Well i finally upgraded one of my cars enough to beat the last level necessary and it forced my cars to “service” which made me wait until the time of the event was up. So I spent all of my gold and cash to be able to beat this and now am left with nothing.

Game is fine, winning any events will require spending a ton of money or having played long enough to happen to have the right cars that are also good. Single player was enjoyable
Rip off card packs
Though the game can be fun. The car packs are a complete joke. The rare car drops are none existent. Clearly a pay to win game. Way too many unnecessary cars that shouldn’t be featured in any video game. Just paid $50 bucks for a car pack and didn’t get any supercars. Pay to win at its worst.
No new content
The game promised new content. All we got some stupid avatars. There was no new content in this update. The content we have was late and boring. Customer service always blames the customer when things don’t work. Hutch does offers then decides that was too good a deal and decides to take money out of game account because they say it’s an exploit. It’s like you go to store and see food on sale. You buy more than you need since it’s a good deal. 6 months later they say oh we sold it too cheap. Then charge full price. Don’t play this game until we have ethical people at hutch. The game itself has great potential. It’s the management at hutch is why it gets 1 star.

Penalized for issues out of your control
The game is in a constant state of crashing for events. If this happens to you after a race is initiated by you select your cars you may face an infinite load screen before being timed out by the server. But it’s not just that. You will lose your race no matter your ability to outperform your opponent which will penalize you in any race events. This has been an issue over a year now.
Furthermore the game is over 7 years old at this point and it’s nearly impossible to play without opening your wallet with all the biweekly or monthly car seasonal requirements. So if you’re comfortable spending $100 a month to try and get ahead like all the top players go for it. If not and you don’t want to play against Hutch employees don’t.
As cool of a concept as this game is and has been it’s just pictures of cars from the first photo that pops up on google images or any other news article over said car that’s hidden behind a loot box system.
But once again it’s not even that there’s no way to get ahead without paying and from how much they’ve earned on this game they can’t even make actual car models that look like or represent the cars your racing is kinda sad.
As a player who started when the game launched, and has been playing on and off throughout the years... I’m really saddened by the state based on how much time, money, and hopes I had for this game. My advice, go find a different game

URGENT REPAIR
I’ve seen this same complain many times. Fix being stuck in the fuze menu with no cars to fuze. You just updated the game this should have been fixed as I’ve seen dozens of people not able to play for this very same reason.
Take back what you bought.
Beware! This game sells you stuff then takes it back. If you are looking to get ripped off, this is the game for you. Very expensive game that you can never catch up with. They sell you a certain grade of cars for a contest, then come up with a whole new set of cars that makes the ones you just bought irrelevant. Don’t waist your money, it is better spent in other games that sell you something you can use. Good luck.

great concept poor execution
the concept is amazing and the campaign is very fun but unfortunately once you complete it and get into playing online matches the game gets pretty garbage. the game is incredibly pay to win with lots of the challenges involving spending money and if someone has spent more money than you they’ll just beat you. random features like statistics at the end of the match don’t work and when playing online challenges the game will give you random losses for games that you never played. Download for the campaign but uninstall after you complete it because it goes downhill from their
Used to be great
I have been logging on daily for nearly 2 years. Ive probably bought a pack of cars once or twice for less than 5$. I couldn’t believe my eyes, seeing 250$ for a singular “adventure calendar pack”. 250!!! Greedy much? Every vehicle that is better than decent is locked behind these exorbitant paywalls. Good luck newer players without unlimited credit card spending….

Spending money on this game is pointless. I have cars that have similar stats. I go against a car with the same speed rating and they are pulling ahead of me increasing speed. Game is rigged. Wish I could get my money back
This game was great for 7 years. Hutch killed it in less than 3 months.
Everything I loved about this game has been replaced with monotonous tasks that now feels like a chore to complete. It’s the same challenge blueprint on repeat to increase playtime. Hutch now even forces you to play completed rounds up to 6x to earn enough points to trade for Prize Cars (why would anyone find that fun???). Every couple weeks they look at the least used cars on their spreadsheet, slap a tag on them so that players will max them to pass a challenge. Rinse and repeat.
I played Top Drives almost entirely for the Tri-Series but apparently that’s gone now too. Any sense of competition is now obsolete. The Tri-Series seems to have been replaced with the Eliminator series which forces players to max even more garbage cars if you want to advance. All forms of strategy have pretty much been removed from the game.
Hutch refuses to acknowledge that their new UI is completely unreadable for a large portion of their player base. Good luck trying to put a hand together quickly toward the end of an event if you’re one of many that struggles to read it.

Can’t do anything after redownloading the game
All in all it a fun game I just got a new phone and wanted to play again and it saved my progress I just can’t play the game anymore after I redownload it.
