The whole point of the game is to lure you in and set you up to have to build resources and go out and attack random mo stars or other players in a world building exercise. Of course, you never have enough thru these “battles” which you don’t control, rather roll of the D&D dice determines outcome. (I like to think it’s rigged to get you to start spending money to buy more resources to build, hire troops, build your base defenses,etc).

It’s a ripoff
Don’t be fooled by the tempting mini-games; this is a CoC-style strategy game, only the only way to win is to pay and pay and PAY. It’s not worth it, and smaller players get stomped by larger players. TB support’s response? Not their problem. It’s up to the kingdom to set rules - then TB opens the kingdoms so larger players can stomp you. Don’t waste your money - AVOID.

This game was fun for a few days but if you want to pay for endless building go download Minecraft, it will be cheaper.

Spend 50-100$ to get a massive army that you send on suicide missions to get points and valor as part of the game and that army will be gone in less than a day. But you got points and now you are back to waiting for resources or paying.

You get 1-2 rounds playing the game as advertised, and then your locked behind 90% meaningless fluff which your forced to do to continue the game.. we cant just enjoy a simple game nowdays.. same concept as space raiders, yet they force it into a samey generic upgrade this and that which has nothing to do with the game you want to play so there is an incentive to pay money

Ok as others of mentioned the ads for this game or a very small part of the game. The game is actually an Ancient Rome themed city builder with world battles. It’s so mind boggling the disconnect here! I’m using guns and soldiers with machine guns etc etc but then I’m training swordmen and spearman to travel on horseback to take over resources? I mean literally just send the people with guns it makes no sense. The whole theme is completely off putting

I wish the game was more like you see in the advertisement. This is more like the game of thrones game. You have to build and spend money. Versus just having fun shooting things. You get 6 opportunities a day to shoot, the rest is a part time job building and spending real money.

Constant network error messages, can’t play
This looks like it would be fun but after the game begins, I get an error message about connection issue and can’t simply play offline l, option to reconnect doesn’t help. I have no issues with my connection in other games, browser, apps, etc. Seems like a bug with this specific app.
Fantastic Game, Poor Support
This game is a ton of fun and the clan element of it really puts it over the top. However the non-responsiveness of the support team is really unmatched. My account was blocked automatically for following the incorrect procedure regarding two duplicate charges. I’ve reached out to support over a dozen times the last 5 days and still have not received a response. I understand rules should be followed, but the lack of support response on this type of issue is unacceptable.
Battles are fun but way too much noise, not enough play
The core battle part of the game is super fun and addictive. That said, it’s such a tiny component of the overall gameplay. There is so much mindless clicking to “upgrade” or “research” or “train” parts of the map. The whole game feels like it’s trying to upsell you constantly to speed up all the clutter outside the core gameplay.
If they took out everything and just left the ability to battle, this game would be amazing but unfortunately you have to wait and mindlessly click a million times in between battles. Or spend loads of money (which I’d never do and feel like most wouldn’t) to bypass all that noise.

Rip off! Don’t do it!
This is the most rip off game! The only way you will be able to build further is you have to buy coins! Then you have to buy a shield so after you lose a battle you will continue to lose! Something happen late at night when the app went down and when it came up some one took all my coins and supplies and it wasn’t my fault! This is the worst game in my life! Do yourself a favor and stroll pass here! Save your self the high blood pressure and the headache! I think most of these people who play this game is over 600lb and don’t bathe and don’t work but be up here all day! Don’t do it!
The in app rewards keep going missing.
I’ve been winning lots of building materials for a long time now, and most of the iron and lumber go missing. It’s not in the chests section, not available in the warehouse, or any other place I look. I think I’ll delete the app altogether in a day or so.

I just followed the prompts, it’s absolutely a waste of time and then the further you get in the game the more time it makes you wait before you can actually play the game that was advertised in the ad. Game keeps losing my profile/account
This is the second time I lost my account and it reverts back to an old account. My account disappeared and progress is lost. This is very frustrating, as I have spent money on this game.
Baits you into getting the game
I downloaded the app and it didn’t look the same like it shows in the app preview. Do not download this app, it’s wearing a disguise trying to hook you into getting the game. The other reviews seem like they were by ai trying to get this app on #2 in roleplaying. Developers, please remake the entire game into the actual game its shows on the preview.
Addictive gambling
Stay away from this game. It’s a highly pay to win and predatory micro transaction game where it is virtually impossible to progress unless you spend lots of money. It takes advantage of dopamine addictive tendencies similar to gambling.
It has shady mechanics and even forces players to make multiple accounts to spend even more money. I’ve played 7 months and was shocked to see I’ve blown more money on this one game than my Xbox one, ps5, and both their entire game libraries. Only play this game if you are prepared to blow thousands of dollars

Fun Game, Too Bad You Mostly Don’t Get to Play it
The game that they advertise *is* present in this app, and when you first start playing you actually do get to play that game. It’s pretty fun. A nice time waster. Each level is short, so it’s a good way to kill a couple of minutes. Before long, though, you can’t play that game unless you slog through upgrading buildings and training troops and whatever other meaningless “press-this-button-then-wait-20-minutes” nonsense they’ve crammed in here.
So yeah, fun game. Shame the app doesn’t actually let you play it.

It turns out that’s only about 1/30th of the game. It is a mechanic where you can get rewards, but it’s capped per day. The majority of the game is empire building. That in itself isn’t a bad thing, but the mobile ads definitely mislead you.
The most disappointing thing is how horribly laid out the mobile UI is. There is a top bar with menus, a sub bar with inventory counts (that scrolls left and right with tiny little arrows), a bottom bar with menus, and random menus spread through the left and right parts of the screen - half of which lead you to purchasing something. The main menu isn’t even easy to find, I had to google it (it’s hidden inside the character screen).
The most annoying part, and why I quit playing after a week, is that there is a gold currency that is slowly earned and you can use to accelerate the game (that you can also purchase). That’s fine, most mobile games have this. Inside one of the several menus, I was scrolling looking for something and accidentally spent 5k gold (that took an entire week to get since I started) without even a confirmation. No way to undo the transaction.
That’s why I quit. It’s just not a pleasant user experience.

I’m just stuck where the objective basically says (1/2 rebuild barracks) but I only see one barrack… the game wont let me get anywhere past that

Good game ruined by so much unnecessary stuff
What ads and screenshots barely show you is that in order to keep playing the actual game, you have to engage in civilization building game stuff, which eventually gets to take up more time than the game that I actually want to play, which is the moving soldiers around and mathing which barrels to shoot, and such. The world building stuff is complicated enough that there’s a helper cursor to show what you’re supposed to tap, and IT NEVER GOES AWAY. I started thinking “can I please just play the game?” …and the answer was: “no, you have to restore 8 farmer’s houses, upgrade the barracks, build a temple, and find some keys first.” Ugh.

Misleading game, is nothing like what they show in their ads. I’ve never seen a game that is more about and getting your dollars. It’s a scam in my opinion. You’ll get into it then road blocks because you’ll need to spend money to get anywhere in this game. Only thing I can say positive is no in game ads otherwise don’t waste your time and money.

Nice looking game with annoyances
I like the look of the game, lots to do. The huge negative is the number of times they prompt for additional in-app purchases. The purchase popups come every time you open the app or switch away and come back. Sometimes 3 or 4 windows in a row. Earlier today I spent $4.99 followed by $19.99, and they STILL prompted me immediately afterward to spend even more. Talk about greedy, how much is enough?! Really takes the enjoyment out of the game. How many addicts has your game created? Consider being less aggressive and dialing it back a bit.
When I made the $19.99 purchase, it was supposed to come with 72,000 coins, but I only received something like 15,000. Waiting on support to answer my ticket.

The battle part of the game is fun, but I don't care about whatever stupid story line they have running to rebuild the city. I just want to play the game. It's hard to figure out what you're supposed to do be able to battle again.
