Hate the game

Cant play as pirates!
Purchased A new world dlc and still can’t play as pirates. I need to be a pirate of the Caribbean. Will change to 5 stars when I can be a pirate.
Not enough storage.
Game calls for a little over 3 gigs of storage to install. My phone has 25 gigs free. I download the game and try to install it. After the download when I press install it says I need 9 gigs free and only have 8 gigs left of storage. Why is it that the games advertised as 3 gigs for the download but actually takes about but actually takes about 17 gigs.
Have not been able to complete battle
Cannot complete a battle during the French Ohio valley missions due to hud constantly disappearing. Troop movement is wonky. For example: I try to line up rangers in the woods and it sends them to the edge of the map.

the controls are unplayable. Moving your troops and forming them up is impossible. You have to do some thing with two fingers that only sometimes works. Before battle it’s like pulling teeth. Durning the battle it’s not possible. So sad because this is my favorite total war

Is the woman in the top left spoiling the fun by telling me about the game? It takes up the entire screen and stays there for so long I can't get past it.
It does not work
So my IPad is kinda old and it doesn’t work. So I give it a 1 star. Please fix this.
Looks very good but Spain knocked declared war and took my 1 Provence within the the first 8 turns
I originally played this on desktop when it first came out. Played really well but the ai sucks like it did in the old days. I couldn’t get France or Spain to ally me in road to independence and Spain went from friendly to ending my game within the first 8 turns. I didn’t even make it to turn 10. I got steamrolled and never got a chance to do anything
Download Glitch
Was excited to play but can’t. After downloading from App Store the game stops 1/3 in with message “not enough free space”, despite having 100gb free on my phone. Empire interface reflects only have 2gb free (unclear what it’s referencing, but not my phone storage). All other downloads (including Rome) perform as expected. So some kind of glitch with Empire thinking there isn’t enough room…. Tough as Empire was driving purchase and seems to be a good transition to mobile. Devs seem responsive, so hopefully they can resolve.
Why I didn't give 5 stars...
The game runs nice enough on ios; however two crucial parts of the game were messed up in this port. Firstly is the game speed, which frequently breaks and plays at normal speed. This includes fast forward, pause, and slow-motion. This also carries over to replays, with you having to wait the same time you spent positioning & commanding units or afk. Which is absolutely insufferable in terms of watch-ability. The second biggest flaw is the max amount of money in custom games. It is minuscule, when the original empire total war has much larger gold budgets. What's the point of all this technology, if you can only have small skirmishes with decently ranked units? It makes elite units look cowardly because they break so easily and with so many men alive at low ranks. (Edit) I've discovered two insufferable bugs. One that doesn't allow the sync to work, and automatically gives up when you select wait, prompting you to spam or continue without syncing, which constantly breaks your save games. Another is the disappearing saves. I've had so many nations saves disappear overnight due to some random bug. This is pretty annoying to deal with.
