Won’t let me save photo
It won’t let me save any photos anymore. It says since I already bought the app a long time ago I can still use all of the basic features like I did before but now it won’t let me save a photo that I edited unless I subscribe to the paid version. So no, it’s not letting me use the app like I did before because I used to easily be able to save the photos after I edited them. What’s the point of editing a photo if I can’t save it after I’m done editing? I just wanted to remove two tiny lines/ marks on my photo.

How is it that 15 years ago this app was amazing and now it doesn't even work at all? So my lifetime subscription that I bought about 15 years ago suddenly no longer works and I had to buy a new anual subscription. If it worked I wouldn't be so ticked off but just trying to get it to work now is an absolute joke. I have a little white spot on one of my teeth so when I smile in a picture I used this app to edit it out and it used to work great. Now it doesn't remove the spot, it removes three teeth and I look like I'm fresh off the train from Appalachia. Try to remove a logo from a shirt? Even with it set to remove It just blurs the whole thing so there's just a big blurry spot. How is it that an app that 15 years ago was flawless is now just a joke. You people who develop this app need to seek work elsewhere at a job more in line with your intelligence, perhaps at McDonald's?

AI smart scenes? Useless. Everything I’ve tried completely changes the face. Why bother with it if there is no face? I loved it when it let me choose a photo and tell it to “repair old photo” or “show me in overalls.” It was great. Better than paid ChatGPT sometimes.

However, is the portion of the reply “you can save 1 photo for free” a joke; as that is useless info. Additionally, I understand subscriptions increase your income (as mentioned), although I firmly believe other models can work as well that do not suck funds each month (virtually forever - unless one takes time & action to halt it).
One model I’d opt for it to pay an initial fee which enables saving perhaps 50 (?) edited photos, and continue that with a fixed reduced re-up fee for each 50 (?) photos saved. With this scenario, if I do not take advantage of the app, then I do not have to continuously pay for it. The re-up fees enable receiving updated. The initial fee covers updated for perhaps the first 12 (?) months. Furthermore, make some advanced features only available via a one time fixed fee. Again, I’m not forced to pay for features I may never need; although available if needs change. Just brainstorming here, as I really detest subscription models.

Beware of updated model
I’ll just get to the point. I purchased the app years ago. Multiple updates since then they begin charging a subscription for everything that didn’t come with the original release. Keep in mind this app was released almost 16 years ago. The right thing would be to grandfather in all the original purchasers because there was a much different expectation.
Just know if you want any real use out of this app it will cost you a minimum of $15.00 every month, at least until they release another update to charge you additional money for.

Very Dissatisfied
I paid this app before they have subscription model. But now they have subs model, they ignore the user from previous model. Like a scam. Now only 1 export per day. Thats crazy.

Obnoxious Forced Tutorials
Stop with the tutorials I can’t skip through. I don’t want to spend 5 minutes doing sample tasks when I’ve had this app for years. Amateur design and ruins the experience.
Useless to remove glare
Erased the entire image or sections of it. Their AI is not smart. Terrible, in fact. Don’t be fooled.
Ripoff
I paid for a subscription years ago, and even though it says I can use all of the core features forever, I can’t save a photo without upgrading. That’s ridiculous. Saving a photo isn’t a core feature? What’s the point of even having this if you can’t do that much? Way to rip off the people who’ve supported this app.
Took my money
I paid for this app years ago to remove things from photos. Now that they have updated it to use AI that is the only way to remove things from photos and you have to upgrade your plan and pay for it to use it. I literally paid for this app for that very reason and now I can’t even use the app!!!!!

I had this app for about a year and every time that I open it, it starts glitching. My phone won’t allow me to turn it off for multiple minutes.

Disappointed
I thought the creator of this app was better than most. You pay once and you have access to it. Now in order to save any photo that you edit, you have to pay $14.99 a year for a subscription. I used to recommend this app to all of my friends but now I will recommend them not to download it and I’ll be deleting it. Very disappointing.

Have loved this app for years because of how easy it is to use and the quality of the tools. You now have to have a paid subscription to download the photos you edit, so I will be deleting the app and finding a replacement. Greedy capitalism strikes again.

bought the app long time ago and everything came with it for free now went to try to use it and saying I have to put a subscription just to save the touched up photo!

i been with this app for years and i knew they wpuld eventually give in and start charging people just lole the rest. i can't do anything without subscribing anymore, not even minor changes because you are only allowed to save your pic once that is saved you are forced to pay for premium. ridiculous definitely deleting the app
stupid subscriptions
I bought this app many years ago with a ONE TIME purchase and have been using it since. I have stayed loyal to this app and would have recommended it but today I went to use it again and was notified that I need to buy a subscription to download my photos??? I read other reviews of people with the same issue. the “core” subscription does NOT include all of the features previously offered before the subscription was added. even without using premium features, the ability to download the photo is locked behind a subscription. I tried experimenting with all the features to see if I could save my photo with any of them and I can not, even features that before I was able to use. so in the responses to these bad reviews where they say you must be using a premium feature if you can’t download your photos are LIES!!! this app is completely useless to me now and I am very disappointed. no one likes subscriptions. if I was asked to donate $15 to an app I actually enjoyed I would be more inclined than being forced into a subscription. do better.

I loved being able to use this app especially because of how good it was for a few dollars. Now i’m probably going to delete it because all of a sudden yall want me to pay $15 a month to be able to save a photo because i removed a glare? I used to love to use this app but i can’t even save or modify the original picture with the edit unless i have a monthly subscription. I didn’t even use the AI editor, that’s a bit ridiculous.
This Needs To Be Fixed
So I downloaded the app and the tools are great and work well. I edited one picture and loved the way it came out and saved it. I went to edit another picture and finished,I tried to save the picture but in order to do that I had to pay.So you can only edit one picture and then get a subscription for like 15 dollars a month. I want to use this app more but I can’t because I would have to pay for a subscription.Personally I think it is silly to pay to erase something.Please fix this so more people can use your app.At least let them do the basic editing like erasing.
no longer simple or useful
This used to be one of my all-time favorite apps. Open, select image, work with it and close.
But -everything- about it has changed. It seems to default to automations I have no interest in. I try to get it to stop doing this and can't.
I'm capable of selecting areas to be removed myself, I don't need everything removed all the time. What a hassle.

Pay to remove lines
Kelby One said it was a free app and and they were in app purchases. This is by far free, with only two uploads.
