I’ve been a loyal TouchTunes customer for years. Disappointed they have turned to “surge” pricing for jukeboxes. It was bad enough that you could wait for your song to play for what seems an eternity only to be skipped by someone who payed to play next. Now you want to raise the price based on the line. Super greedy,hope customers wise up and stop paying.

The heck is this demand pricing? No songs in the queue yet the demand is 2+ credits? Sounds like a cash grab to me.
Recently became a ripoff
I’ve used this app for YEARS. Tonight, my friend and I both bought credits and went to play music. Within the last week, they’ve started charging fractional coins (used to be 1 or 2 per song, now 2.1 or 2.2). You can still only buy full credits but they’re charging fractional credits. Absolute ripoff. Not to mention we’ve gone to dynamic pricing now as well - not just to skip a song, but to play more than one. Absolute disgusting, unfettered greed and everything that’s wrong with corporate America. Deleting this app and refuse to pay another dime for this BS. Disgusting.

Unacceptable number of songs not available. If the venue you’re at changes the input for speakers, Touchtunes will not refund credits for sounds played that you did not hear. Better if you just use earphones and phone.

They now charge fractional credits based on activity. I was the only person playing music at a bar with only my friends there and every song I played for our group (usually 2 credits) now were costing 2.2 credits, the next one 2.3., the next one 2.4 credits. Corporate greed has gotten ridiculous. When I mentioned this, the whole bar rippled with rage. From the patrons to the staff, palpable anger. I will never spend another dollar with touchtunes unless they change this policy. My account has thousands and thousands of plays over the years. My friends and me looked at our song plays over the years and we stopped doing the math after the $30,000 mark. What a terrible decision by whatever idiot executive pushed for this!

I can have 5 customers sitting beside each other looking at the same song and you want to charge each person a different price because of how busy it is. (When nothing is playing) From 1.7-2.7 credits is the swing. Thats stupid and border line theft. Tell everyone if you are going to play music on these machines don’t use the app.

I go home without hearing the songs I payed to hear. They weren’t cheap either.

Variable pricing is ruining the app
Incremental price increases are a lame money grab. More songs in the queue should reduce the price since I’m less likely to actually hear the song I play. Charging more when there are songs lined up disincentives using this app.
