So to start it off, I first started playing this game in 2024 and found this game pretty fun and I even bought a pack in the game too.
However, I didn’t have much storage on the game so I had to delete it.
I just recently got to redownloading the game and i come back to all of my progress was gone and even the pack I bought was gone.
I know i signed in too so this such bs.
I tried to find their support page but it doesn’t load at all so this was a horrible experience for me as a returning player.
Im not coming back to this bs of a game and I don’t recommend anyone play it bc it will be a waste of your time.

I have played this game for literal YEARS it’s always been a comfort and something to easily pass the time. I’ve spent actual money on upgrades before and invested hours of my life into playing this game. Then they decided they you need to watch an ad after every level and the ads are often longer than the level ever takes to beat so what’s the point of even playing anymore? It used to be fun to play but now it’s two minutes of closing promotions / ads / more was for you to spend EVEN MORE on this game. Then you can finally play a level. There’s .99 purchases thrown at you from the MOMENT you log in and it didn’t used to be that way. If you’re willing to pay for ad free it’s a great game I suppose. But I have uninstalled and will not be returning. What a bummer.

Tower War is a great strategy game. I’ve played it for years, and the core gameplay is still excellent.
For a long time, many reviews complained about excessive ads. Instead of improving the situation, the January 2026 update made things significantly worse by forcing an ad after every round. Since a round can last about 30 seconds, but ads could run up to 2 minutes, it made the game feel more like an ad machine than a strategy game.
However, I thought the March 2026 update finally fixed this issue, but unfortunately they are still not fixed.
I have once again changed the review from 5 stars down to 1, as it’s ridiculous to play a 20-30 second game and then be forced to watch ads up to 2 minutes long - between EVERY round.

Challenge tower rewards
Bring back the original challenge tower rewards. What was the reason for the change in the first place??
Was a great game. Developer greed ruined it.
I really enjoyed this game and even spent money on it, including paying so I didn’t need to watch ads for perks. In today’s patch, they have added an ad bar, and they FORCE you to watch an ad after EVERY battle. If this is how the developer wins fans avoid their games at all costs. All of my loyalty destroyed in one patch. Not worth anyone’s time to download or try.

Untagged horror is a game ender
I enjoyed the game until the introduction of zombies I am not allowed to opt out of. Strategy game? fine. Horror? absolutely NOT. Non optional zombies equals deleted game. It's absolutely unacceptable to force horror in a game not tagged as such.

Definition of an ad farm
The game itself is entertaining, surface level, the “Chance” mechanics are clearly not real RNG it’s definitively rigged in an effort to make the player purchase a better character, and there’s an ad every level(each level can be completed faster than the ad itself), and the micro transactions are just predatory money grabs. Blatantly, if you want ad free it’s $1+ per day essentially. Y’all gotta stop downloading this garbage and supporting it.
Waste of time
After the first half hour of play time it forces you to watch an ad after EVERY SINGLE round. Unless you enjoy playing 1 minute for every 5 minutes of ad time, don’t waste your time and energy. This game is a waste of digital space in the world. Whomever created it should be fired and banned from software creation for life.

It’s a fun game to just burn time, but there’s ads after literally every game, even though they ask you to watch an ad for extra rewards, if you say no thanks, they’ll still play an ad (btw, you can close the app and reopen it to skip watching the ad). Also, there’s like 5 popups asking you to spend money EVERY time you open the app. The highest rarity troops in the game cost A HUNDRED DOLLARS EACH and they’re not even that good, I have the second highest rarity for 2/3 of my troops but they can still sometimes beat the highest rarity ones. If you lose a game it’ll offer you to buy a troop for $100, every time you lose. I’ve been playing the game on and off for over a year now, and I still don’t have any of the highest rarity units. And don’t even get me started on the limited time events, you don’t want to ptw? Yeah, you’re barely getting any rewards. If you LOVE micro transactions and ads, this is definitely the game for you. Yeah I just checked and apparently the mythic troops are $300 but they’re on discount for $100 smh, greedy creator.

I have played this game a lot but the reason for this review is because I keep getting ads a lot, and no I’m not spending money to get rid of them.
Game Okay
Game itself is fun, but be prepared to spend some money to buy out of the excessive ads ( both longevity and frequency) and pop-up offers. Also freezes pretty often. You can only get to a certain point without spending cash. Most games balance a willingness to watch ads in order to advance seeing as income comes from that as well, but this one doesn’t appear to have a way to advance without buying upgrade packages that are pricier than I’ve seen on other games.
Pay or struggle
Fun game to start. I enjoyed myself enough to buy ad free, I feel like I have been scammed. Eventually, the game will constantly put you in a position where you battle opponents far stronger than you with better abilities and units. Then they are faster and the bases produce more often. Going to play PVP is just the same. If I win, the next opponents will be stronger. The game is clearly rigged against you. At this point if I don't buy more, this game is not playable. I wish I could take back my ad free purchase.
Fun but broken ads ruin it
I was willing to try it out, but 9 out of 10 ads don’t have a skip button or X visible and it forces you to close the game, and you don’t get the reward for the level if you close it. It feels deliberate, no other game I play does this. Uninstalled out of frustration

How is a game in 2026 still not able to disrupt a phones media?!? YouTube video, audiobook, MUSIC, ANYTHING I am listening to not only shuts off but REQUIRES you to go back into the corresponding app and turn it back on. OBNOXIOUS. The game itself is fine, but even if I choose not to watch an Ad for a larger winning bonus, I still get an ad and they are LONG. So it has ads EVERY LEVEL and you spend more time watching than playing. The upgrade system makes NO SENSE and they prevent you from further upgrading because you need an item with little info on how you get said item. I used to love this game 5 yrs ago. Now I just get annoyed.
