Cant play due to screen freezing
Also having a similar experience to a previous review. I haven’t played in a while and tried to get back on, however, it forces me to go to friends tab and the screen freezes… I tried exiting the app then entering again but no help

The levels are 100% rigged. If you are getting close to winning a good prize, the levels are almost impossible to beat. Or you will get so close to winning and then the move that would’ve helped you finish , all of a sudden doesn’t work. I’ve been playing this game for two years and it’s now time for me to stop. Don’t download this game and for sure don’t buy any packs, this game was made to drain your wallet through frustration of not being able to beat your levels.

Didn’t receive reward
I completed the mine challenge, and used my own money to help me do so, and still did not receive the 2500 cash I was supposed to receive and so far I have been unable to get a response from the support team regarding this. Very unhappy as again I spent my own money to receive that reward and did not get it

I use to thoroughly enjoy this game, but now it feels like a cash grab. They are making the game increasingly difficult in an effort to MAKE you have to spend money to proceed. The implementation of T-Cash is a scam, the amount you earn vs the cost of things is severely imbalanced. With the most recent update the match 3 levels have been come so much harder. Everyone in my Regatta has noticed. I’ve played this game for years but I think I’m done.
False advertising Nothing like ads
I downloaded this game after seeing the ads for such a long time. Completely disappointed. In the beginning there was 1 mini game that was roughly 30 seconds long that was just like the ads but after that nothing. I kept playing for a little bit to see if it would pop up. I searched and googled to see if I was doing something wrong just to find out that I was doing everything right. Now after seeing the reviews I’m not the only one. This is glorified false advertising.

The ad looked really fun but it’s not what the ad actually was unfortunately.
Great game
The game itself is amazing and well thought out. I’ve always liked the game and always come back to it. The only reason I did a 1 star is due to the bugs. Currently can’t even play it due to bug on, connect to Facebook but doesn’t let you click anything. It’ll eventually get fixed and it’ll be fun for a week, maybe even 2 weeks but then another bug will happen that’ll make you stop playing the game. And then eventually you’ll return and hope for the best.

AI ads
I’m super disappointed to see AI video ads for this game. The ads don’t represent the game accurately, and I mean, come on, hire a couple actors! Or animate the whole ad with real animators, the AI slop you’re paying to advertise with on other platforms reflects this game poorly and is such a waste.

PLEASE bring back the old economy of the game. My town cash that was worth 20 skips turned into 3. Waste of my time and money. This game is completely ruined and if they don’t change it back soon I will be deleting.

New update allows for “more” town cash that is worth about 25% of old system. Developers either out for money only or think we can’t do math.

A new system for T cash was implemented, adding 10x more cash to the saved cash in the game, but the cost of everything is so much higher. Made the game less fun and winning match 3 is almost impossible without spending money. Terrible update, I've tried to keep playing but it's overall ruined the experience.

Doesn’t let you play enough
The people who invented this game are not very smart. If they actually let you play a little bit, then maybe that would keep people playing and potentially increase sales. When it takes hours to create things in the game, people don’t sit there and wait if they make the game impossible to win and you go through all of your lives! Smarten up and let people win a little more often and maybe that would provide them with the opportunity to buy things on the app. Stupid business practice the way it is. I usually play once in the morning and once at night because i run out of money and lives. Wake up developer. The longer things take to create, the more people walk away and don’t play at all. - I paid $24 for the “event”. I ended up with less cash than when I started because the levels are so difficult and unbeatable. Such a joke. It’s really sad that the developers don’t realize that they are losing people because they are so greedy.

The recent update shifted everything. Earning cash has been difficult and completely different than its original form. Deleting my account.

dirty math behind the new economy of the game with town cash. trying to scam us by making the costs unequal so we are always loosing even more than before. so unfair especially for long time

Dark Patterns
It’s a really fun game, but the developers engage in shady dark practices. Buttons are strategically placed where it’s super easy to accidentally spend in-game cash (T-Cash) and there is no pop-up confirmation to make sure it was intentional. However, there is a confirmation pop-up asking to confirm that you DIDN’T want to spend 900 T-cash, showing all the prizes you will lose if you don’t buy more moves. When you politely ask if your T-Cash can be returned, their chatbot apologizes and says to be more careful about pressing buttons.

Used to love this game, but it changed!
I’ve played Township for a long time and genuinely used to enjoy it. It was relaxing, fun, and felt rewarding to progress.
Lately though, the changes to the in-game economy have taken away a lot of that enjoyment. It feels much harder to make progress without spending money, and the balance just isn’t what it used to be.
I understand games need to make money, but it now feels a bit too tilted in that direction. I miss how it used to feel more fair and enjoyable to play casually.
I’m disappointed because I really liked this game, but it’s not as fun for me anymore.

Fun game with awful earning rate
I’ve been playing a bit over a month and they did an economic rebalancing recently. The game shifted the amount you can earn (down) and how much everything costs (up) so your play time goes wayyyyy less far. Means the game takes forever to get ahead and it’s absolutely not worth the money to buy dollars/coins to move ahead faster. I am still playing but not enjoying it and will probably quit soon.
Nothing like the ads
When I saw the ads,the game looked fun but when I downloaded it,it was nothing like the ads. The ads were like you were like running a milk,eggs,or a meat business,but the game is like a Roblox cash-grab tycoon,I would not recommend this game if you don’t want to waste your time trying to find the stuff u saw in the ads,from yall local toast stealer. A tip for going trough reviews,don’t go trough the “most helpful” it’s just most favorable in disguise.
Slow game
You get to a point where you need to use too much money to beat the games so you can build up your town, the town takes forever to build once you hit a certain level and then it just becomes boring, it’s a waste of money because if you need boosters or extra moves you need to pay, it’s not cheap either for what they give you, I’d say this game just gets you hooked and then scales you to want to pay so you can keep building. I wish you got more rewards and stuff wasn’t so expensive in this game
Glitch Made Me Delete!
Can someone, for the love of GOD, please fix the glitch!!!!! It makes you open your friends list and then freezes- you cannot exit the screen on press any buttons!! I’ve tried removing and redownloading the app but nothing is working :,(

TOO EXPENSIVE TO PLAY!
This game has consistently become more and more expensive to play, but the most recent update has ridiculous monetary changes. The currency exchange rate only favors the developers…match 3 game continuations used to be pretty reasonable, you could play on for 10 or 20 TC, now it’s more like 900 plus for 5 more moves. I’ll wait a couple of days for developers to come to their senses…if they can’t, then I’m uninstalling after 10 plus years. I’ll be moving to Stardew Valley-no greedy developers there!
Not as advertised
I downloaded this game because of an ad seen on another game but when I went to play it was not at all the same game they advertised it to be. I immediately deleted it for this reason, I don’t understand why they lie about the game. This is a typical FarmVille type game so if that’s what you are into then go for it but if you saw the ad from other games then this is not that game.

Update nightmare
Since the last update the game has been glitching a lot overall gameplay has been terrible and it forces you into the leaderboard section and completely freezes.
RIP Township 2026
After years of playing, I called it quits… They decided to make everything more expensive, attempting to cover it up by also changing the value of the cash game hoping no one would notice. They then made many levels on the match 3 game so hard that you have to use powerups essentially making it only passable if you pay. I’ve bought in game items countless times but choosing to pay is one thing, being forced to is another. No more $ from me.
There’s no point in even buying the “season” passes anymore since you can’t even finish them unless you pay to play in match 3.
Nice try township team. You lose my future business.
