This game is very interesting. Has a cool storyline but you quickly run into pay walls and it’s not just a little bit of payments, It’s like $10-$35 a pop needed to play the game after a few days. At first the game is fun. I’ve been playing for a while now. I’m on the Cape Carnival site now. Not able to defeat the villains to do any further advancement.Waiting to upgrade my heroes. It takes forever to get the things you need to upgrade them. The rewards system is a joke. Very stingy! Definitely gotten to be a money grab game. But like almost every other game. You get to a point where if you want to advance. You’ll need to spend money. Just letting people now what to expect if you decide to play.
Bait and switch
While waiting for new content they pulled a huge bait and switch. Instead of new content and story once you get to the end of the last major update they switch the game to some town building nonsense.

This is probably the worst money grab game I have ever downloaded. You are constantly bombarded with alternate missions, expeditions, which cost a lot of money if you want to finish them in the allotted time. It’s a repetitious cycle of pay, pay, pay to advance. Sure, you can play without spending but, you won’t advance to make it worth continuing the game.
To hard to get energy and each steps cost to much energy
Game was fun at first but takes forever to get energy and soon as you log off it takes the little 40 of energy you get when you not logged in to move 3 steps… I spent money on this game and now I feel ripped off and becoming disinterested now because of how hard it is to get energy and to actually play now without spending money.. smh
Push back
Do after being told many times the game is way too slow because energy is used up in 3 cleared items the next stage of the game for me take the cookie of DELETE. 30 energy to collect 1 barrel that’s essential to the story. 30, that’s 1 turn on the game before having to log off and wait for energy to replenish. Unless you’re one of those losers who spends their money on apps instead of buying a homeless person a meal. Either the developer is intellectually challenged or they want the game to fail?

0% success rate in Arena fights
This started as a game that was pretty entertaining even when only given 45 energy max. I started the arena fights with a 90% success rate that is now less than 50% even though I’m only challenging players 20,000+ points LESS than me and still consistently losing, I’ve tried changing my formation and updating different characters but no matter what I do, I keep losing and getting knocked down further on daily rewards. It’s really making me lose all motivation to play the game.

This game is a straight up ripoff. You can download it and waste your time, space in your phone or computer, and find out for yourself, or you can listen to someone who plays games -all the games on this app. I have no problem paying a little money to get necessary resources, if it helps me get ahead in the game. But this is just a black hole sucking you dry. Listen, if you only like playing a game for 30 seconds a day, this game is for you. Because you use up the free energy in 30 seconds. The cost to buy more energy is insane because you only get enough energy for another minute of playing time before you have to buy more. And that’s with one of the bigger packages.

Takes to long to accomplish anything, energy lasts a few minutes and then your stuck, game is good but energy is an issue.
Terrible updates
I traveled to Cape Canaveral in the game and now am unable to move past the beginning tasks. Need starting 5 characters to lvl 60 which from 50 forward is 100million exp…problem is the devs give you 5 mil a couple times a day. Gonna take me a very long time to move up characters just to start the new map. At this point I can’t even play the game which what’s the point…this game is a waste of time. Save your frustration and don’t even try it…this game will be deleted from my device before sending in the review. Garbage!!!
Used to be fun
The algorithm used to determine opponents power is broken. There is no way to advance with spending a ton of $ to level up your heroes. I have 5 people maxed out at the highest level and lose every battle in the campaign in under 5 seconds. Not sure what happened but look elsewhere for a game unless you have unlimited funds to buy upgrades.
Lost Hope
This game starts out fun, then as soon as you master it, the developers purposefully target you to lose in the hopes of you spending more money. Starting at level 50, it takes 100 million xp to level up, current highest level being 70. Developers have no mercy as they do everything to try to get you to have to spend to advance. I have level 70 characters and I cannot get through some of the fights they have, when I ask them they always respond, they know they made it harder; but give little hope as to fixing anything except increasing their profits. Their evolution went from fun to stupidity, all in the name of making more money. If there was a negative star to select I would. Find a game that actually cares about its paying customers

Is this a wall to wait till new map?
Am currently stuck in New Jersey can’t get to the electric fence because grinding has become a chore. Aside for the chests the only exp farm I have doesn’t give enough, and I can only assume the other farms are locked behind the side battles with absurdly high difficulty spikes

Pay to play not just to win
This app is the epitome of greed. Like others have said, you get a cap of 45 energy but actions take 3-15 energy each. Most actions will have a cost of 10-15 energy. But don’t worry! You can also buy more energy at steep prices so you can perform 2-3 more actions. Then there’s the resource collection. They only give you 15 minutes of offline accumulation! So basically you will gather nothing unless you keep the app open. Hope you have nothing better to do with your device! But wait! You can also SUBSCRIBE to a $7.99 per week “vip” option that lets you accumulate 2 hours worth of offline resources. So for half the price of a AAA game per month, you might be able to gather enough resources for the stage. Upgrade to the full price of a AAA game per month and you just might finish the stage.
Selfish
The game its self is pretty good, but the developers really need to change the amount of energy you get. 45 barely lets you do anything. It’s basically they want you to have to by stuff to play. I get the pay for extra stuff but this is a bit extreme
Costly to advance
I really enjoy playing the game but it shouldn’t be that you spend hard earned REAL money to advance. Been trying to beat Fungee for 3 days and doesn’t matter what I switch up I can’t beat him…. The 45 max doesn’t allow much playing time… to the developers… how long would you like for us to play? 20 minutes a day? If that’s the case everyone should just delete the game. Really need to play longer so it hold an ADD’s attention….

This game has the potential to be enjoyable, but unfortunately, it’s hindered by an aggressive monetization model. Players are limited to just 45 energy points, which can be depleted in less than 15 seconds of gameplay. Progressing or completing specialized tasks within the set time constraints often requires a significant financial investment. While the concept is promising, the constant pressure to spend money detracts from the experience. As it stands, I cannot recommend this game.

Money Pit
Game requires you spend money to progress, it is long time waiting to develop town for resources. This game has some potential, but you have to spend money to advance. The kicker is when you get to Jersey, there is no more game, the game quits and you have no where to go. BE AWARE IT’S A SCAM, DON’T PLAY!!

This game would be great if you didn’t have to pay for everything. This game is a pay to play game that gives you some free play but very little. I’m disappointed because I did like the concept of the game but hate I have to pay for energy to keep playing, don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for something’s like bundles or equipment but not for energy to keep playing.
Energy Bank is Broke
As others have stated, the energy aspect of this game is broken. It’s not even a pay-to-win game, at this point it’s pay-to-play. Devs either need to drastically increase the energy bank or significantly decrease the amount of energy required to clear items on the map. Waiting 45 minutes to clear 3 large items makes the game drag and keeps people from coming back. Couple that with only getting 15 minutes worth of resources and the game won’t last long for most people. Would love to see changes made but I’m not holding out for it.

Not a game if you have to pay to earn currency to play the game at the time you want to play it. 4.8 stars? You guys have allowed the pay system to change your view of what matters in a game.

The opponent is to hard to better even if you are a higher level and takes to long to upgrade. I am stuck because of this things. You guys had tv and videos for extra energy and xp to level up and make it through the game without spending a lot of money and now the stuff is gone again. That is a bad deal. I will watch videos for extra stuff.

The forced game play is infuriating, the excruciatingly slow response times are aggravating, the expense required to make any timely & fun progress is ridiculous, and the narratives that are decidedly elongated to no end make the entire experience poor. Pretty good graphics. It was a fun game, then someone decided to just dump a bunch of nonsense into the updates. Poor form.

This game is fun and have so much potential to all the issue is not enough energy to play the game for a long periods of time unless you continue to purchase I wish they found a better way to navigate this main concern. I would have given this a five star if that could be worked though.

This game costs energy to do things and you only get 45 energy max unless you buy the subscription to get 90 energy. Each obstacle takes 5-30energy PER obstacle. Game is unplayable with these energy limits and costs. Arena is broken, it’s not real people, yes, they are ALL bots. I win every single fight because I have a lvl 75 character and yet I can’t get anywhere near top 100 because of the arena ticket limit, yet the top 100 on the leaderboard are all way above me with generic (not real) names

It’s a fun game however…..out of all the games I’ve played this is definitely by far the worst money grab one. Very little you can do without spending money, a lot of money. Starts at the second scene. Energy levels run out with 3 clicks.
Not worth the effort
Fun game but can’t go anywhere without the developers increasing how to get energy. I can only play the game for about 5 minutes and that is including having to watch a lot of videos to get a small amount of energy. They need to do much better

I’ve played a lot of survival games. This concept is a good one but the need to keep refilling your energy is ridiculous. I have no issues with the game concept but you get 45-60 energy and it costs 3-15 energy to clear something along a path. So clear 5-6 items out of 20 and it’s a constant energy drain and wait.
Eats up to much memory
Liked this game but all the ads ate up too much of my iPad memory. To the point that I would tap on something and nothing would happen. Then my iPad would freeze up. Not worth the frustration anymore.

We understand you want to make money. You also have a game with so much potential and is fun if you put TOO much money into this game, but you limiting players so much via energy and then having an expensive pay to play mechanics is going to cause so much irritation and have an insane turnover rate on players.
Again you have a great product and an amazing concept to stand out from the rest of the similar games, but you’re limiting players so much, you’re hurting yourselves in the process.
