Any developer that complies with illegal age verification deserves the strongest rejection.
Besides, they just stole the rewards I had earned in the game play when the event rolled over. It used to keep the previous event up for a day after it ended to redeem reward coins earned. Now that is all gone.

I the game has potential and is a great looking I’m, but it really gets old playing games where the “special offers” are so overpriced as to be absurd! Digital content has no intrinsic value. It is a construct and is only of value to the developer if people make the in-game purchases. When single item content purchases are $3 each and enhanced content is $10 to $20 each, it is just a farce.If I spend $100 to play this game I’ve spent $95 too much. There is a common theme in ad-bait-click games that make me think non of the developers understand economics 101. Sell more for less and you can make more MONEY! With the prices in this game, you can be sure I will never make a single purchase. I will likely give up in a day or two because the progression forward is stalled on too many ads. Ads that get you a single play are all but useless. Any time I get to a point where I can’t make a play without spending $3 or more (and should I choose to spend that $3 I would only add 3 minutes of game play) you can be sure it will not stay in my play list. You need three things: 1) Less cost per purchase (or more DLC per $ - you choose). 2) More return per Ad completed. Make it worth my time to watch an ad and I wont be as unhappy. 3) Find a way to make it subscription-based and not a ridiculous cost. If I spent say $3.50 per month or $35 per year, I’d be playing this game quite a bit. You could still offer special (non-story impeding) content for say $1 here or there or watch 3 ads and get some accessory that speeds play. Do something! This cash-grab model will just piss anybody who isn’t playing on Dad’s dime off in the end.

I was really enjoying this, but then the game wouldn’t load due to some type of age restriction thing. Many have complained about it but I have seen zero support from the app host.

Cannot Play Anymore
Downloaded the latest update thinking it would correct the bugs in the game from the anniversary update. No luck. Instead, it came with a message that Brazil requires age verification. I do not live in Brazil, nor Utah or Louisiana. Why do I need to provide age verification and why is it just showing up in June when the Brazil post was from March? I’m in the middle of an event and competition and I cannot play.
No more access to app
All of sudden, no more access to the app. An error message pops up about ‘Age Legislation Restriction’, ‘Verification Error: we could not confirm your age status.’
When I clicked on More Info, it brought up something about new legislation in Brazil. I’m nowhere near Brazil.
As of now, money spent in the game is up in smoke - I have requested a refund through Apple.

Had this game since day one. Spent more money playing it than I should have. They do an update and now it won’t work anymore and they won’t help me at all. It is a rip off.
Went from 5 stars to 1 after update
I used to spend a lot of time playing this game and really enjoyed it. Since the update it keeps shutting down and I can’t play at all. Ads are sometimes 2 minutes long. I’ve spent quite a bit on this game but now it’s junk.
New update broke the game: 2026
The latest freight car/wagon update completely broke the game’s progression. Before this change, cargo hauling was limited in a way that still made sense: you could run trains, move cargo, and the real constraint was fuel and efficiency. Now the game flips the mechanic and makes freight cars themselves the bottleneck.
That would already be frustrating, but the worst part is that premium freight cars apparently do not count against depot space while normal progression does. That makes the update feel less like a gameplay improvement and more like a direct push toward buying premium currency. I should not suddenly be blocked because the system was redesigned around scarcity after the old mechanic already worked.
This is not “improved realism.” It is a monetization wall. The game went from fun railway management to an obvious money grab. Please revert the freight car system or rebalance it so regular players are not punished for not buying premium cars.

Have been playing this game for a while. However, I hit a wall that I can’t find a way past. Submitted a ticket and have not received a reply. Very frustrating! Will stop playing if I can’t continue advancing.

$50/hr to play??
Graphics are beautiful, there’s a story, the gameplay mechanics are sound, the idea is great. But after playing over two hours, I’m not sure what else to do besides spend $3 on 40 fuel to send another 2-3 trains on a 60 second trip. Alternatively, I watched an ad, that had a 4 hour cooldown. Didn’t get me very much fuel. Or I can wait an hour for enough fuel to collect to send those same 2-3 trains, and then have nothing else to do for nearly an hour. And unfortunately, fuel is one of the base resources the game requires to keep playing.
The game is great, don’t get me wrong. But without spending a ton of money, the point of this game seems to be to play less of this game.
I’m playing another game that got this right. For $2/week, I can skip all ads (and also forget that I’m paying $2/wk, which will last for four years until my card expires, which is in the financial interest of the publisher). I can also use in-game coins to buy more fuel. Either of these solutions would solve all of my complaints. I don’t like to complain without offering ideas.

Trainz is better
Even trainz 2004 is better than this trash and I don’t even own Trainz 2004 but it looks better the newer Trainz is better if you can get Trainz 2 or Trainz driver 2 if you don’t have a pc

I recently updated and now the game is very buggy to the point I cannot play. The screen just freezes and won’t bring up any missions. It was a great game before this issue.

fun game good graphics but it gets almost unplayable because it keeps closing and you have to keep reopening it even on low graphic setting.

They limit you on fuels that you only get to play for like 10 minutes a day unless you buy more fuel so they try to do stuff like they do in Kingshot

My thoughts in order of severity.
They use generative AI, in places, it’s very clearly such. They use it for graphic art like showing trains in different areas, mainly for desktop backgrounds and other such stuff. 90% of the game appears to be made without AI, but considering they’re fine with using it for images they’re likely using it in other places.
Another issue is the repetitive gameplay. It’s a simpler game, trains get goods, goods become product in factory, product sent to destination. It’s a good loop that can be good if you only get a few minutes free here and there. Send a train, start a product, collect some rewards. Good for that stuff.
The grind can be slow, you’ll run out of steam for upgrade parts unless you focus the events. You will not upgrade every train you get because there’s so many trains and so few parts. It’s a balancing line between upgrading your trains with event parts, and progressing through the main story. Events do not contribute to your story progress.
The game is fun but lacks a working friend and clan system so it can get boring without anyone to talk to behind the discord.

It’s a shame. I get that developers only make these games to make money, but it would be nice if they just sold them at a price. I got to a few levels in, 1936, and can’t do anything else, because it wants me to spend money for items to advance to more levels. Just a huge waste of time. I miss the old days of gaming.
Pay to play
I know you can play this game totally free, as they love to remind others who’ve mentioned having to pay to buy minimal resources, but bend me over. It’s way too expensive if you’re going to go anywhere in this game quickly. It’s not worth it unless you have the money to blow continuously.

Crash crash crash
Fun game but it keeps crashing every 45 - 120 seconds while playing, especially transition between scenarios. And yes both my system and the app are up to date. Anyone else have this problem?

I’ve tried this game three times. I can’t find the coal and I’m about ready to give up the for third time.
New Update Broke App
The new update has almost made the game unplayable with the amount of times you have to close and re-open the app to get the trains to work properly and stop saying waiting for a rail not to mention i think the art design looks much worse than before. All the added motion and mechanics are cool but overall the update wasn’t needed especially since it broke the game entirely.
Is this really a good game??
I’ve downloaded and have been playing this game for a couple weeks now. The gameplay is good. Graphics are great. The missions are thought out well.
The downside: the fuel and durability take a long time to regenerate (unlessssss) you pay real money for items to speed it up.
durability is a joke. All your trains run out of durability way too fast. Fuel goes down real fast with just a few runs. Especially when you get to the later missions wanting multiple hundreds of some specific item.
The overall I see on this game is that it is a cash grab game. It is truly the only way to properly progress without waiting days on end to upgrade one solid thing.
To upgrade your trains you have to rely on specific parts that you can only get by progressing your timeline. And those are limited. You of course can again spend real money to get these….
If you want to play this without spending any money you can, but it will take days if not weeks to truly progress.
