False selling Point.
Originally the app said if you pay for the app now you will have lifetime membership updates for free. Now it’s a subscription based app. Those of us who bought the OG app have been made to have to pay again when told otherwise at the startup of this app. The developer reached out and corrected the error for me
With a special code. Not sure if they will reach out to you if you paid already. I had to show proof that I had paid searching through my history for a screen shot of the purchase. Once let in with the code. No real update has been made to the app from what it was prior. So over all this appears to just be a money grab of existing users that don't remember what they had already purchased. Luckily I had remembered. Be watchful out there everyone. Over all app is meh at best with updates to your HRV reading being during the night or if you do a mindful session using apples app to update your HRV reading. If you want an all day reading of HRV I don’t think this is the app for you.

Only paid for one month
Calculations for readiness to train seem better with TrainingPeaks’ method of assessing CTL/ATL/TSB. The HRV method for Training Today is much less reliable than being able to look at Form and assessing Fatigue vs Fitness. The app doesn’t really show much.

Won’t open now
Opened it a couple times after downloading a few weeks ago but never did much with it. Tried it again today but it keeps crashing immediately upon opening. Deleted it and reinstalled. It got as far as connecting to the Health app on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and then crashed just after enabling access to my Health app. It continues to crash every time I open it. Also tried restarting my phone. This is literally all the information I have. Not going to reach out to your support because I won’t be telling you anything more than I already have.

Sounds good, but
Really useless. Either wrong algorithm or terrible execution. The recommendations all over the place. When fully rested, it recommends resting further. Recommends a full workout AFTER a heavy workout. I guess the moral of the story is: listen to your body. Avoid gimmicks

Listen to your body, not this app
I have tried to give this app a fair shot for several months, but today was the final straw.it told me I was race ready this morning while I am suffering from Covid, coughing, terrible headache, throwing up, and no energy at all. On other days when I have felt like a million bucks and had some of my best days, it told me to take a rest day. Don’t waste your money. Listen to your body instead.

What’s the point?
While it’s interesting to have a score telling you how hard you can train on any given day, it seems to have no relationship to how I feel. I’ve worked out hard on days I wasn’t supposed to and had great workouts. I also had high scores the next day. I paid for the extra charts which don’t provide any useful information as well. Don’t waste your time or money.

1.6 update is terrible
I have used this app since early versions and love it. Unfortunately the latest update is a terrible one. Hiding the basic settings (which were previously available for free) behind an in-app purchase is basically forcing users to pay for the app (so why market it as free….just charge for the app up front). I fully embrace developers, App Store and in-app purchases and will not have an issue paying for something that is useful to me but I disagree completely on moves like this from developers to try to force the user to pay specially if the functionality was provided for free before.

Pointless. Never works.
I had moderate hopes for this app, but even those we’re disappointed. This app almost never receives my heart rate without doing the annoying breathing function, I workout 5 days a week (mostly cardio) and I still have to do the breathing exercises only for this app to consistently tell me I’m below a 3 for recovery. What a waste.

Not helpful and difficult to understand
The charts and graphs make no sense and the tutorial is absolutely useless in explaining how to utilize the charts. I question the algorithm and methods used because my RTT very rarely did matched how I was feeling. Deleted the app.

Useless
I really wanted to find something to track recovery. This is completely useless. You have to fiddle around with the smoothing and intensity to make it look how you want it. Which defeats the purpose. And it counts charging time as resting time. And it’s so slow at calculating. And the ring doesn’t update as quickly as the number. Obviously it has tons of bugs. Mine has been showing below .5 for several days. Really? Even after 3 days of sleep? Still 0.2? Glad I didn’t pay for this one.

Pretty useless
I’m not sure where this app gets its calculations from. I downloaded it more out of curiosity because I’m an advanced athlete and I know exactly how I’m feeling and when I need to take it easy and when I can push it. I always do think that HRV is a fairly decent approximation of how ready you are to train. So I thought hey let’s see if this actually works.
Bad news: it doesn’t. You would think it would be pretty easy app to design. Just look at your average HRV and see if you are below or above. Then give yourself a score. You can see average HRV for any period in the Apple health app. You can also see your latest HRV value. So just do the math and voila. But this app really doesn’t seem to capable of making that calculation, instead relying on smoothing or something. If you play with the two settings you can get the app to say completely different things, which is frankly laughable.
I get this is basically a beta, so I’ll give them a chance to improve but really how difficult is it to do that very simple calculation?

I wish i could get a refund for the lifetime sub….. tried this app to get garmin like stats for my awu…. This app is very inconsistent…. The settings/setup is unclear and the results are very doubtful…..

Besides this though, the insights it provides are lack luster at best, and really don’t paint an accurate picture- for the cost of the subscription, its more with it to understand your hrv on your own in the health app. Separately, this company ended up scamming original backers of this app- after purchasing the pro version, my old access to the “advanced” graphs was revoked and I’m being asked to pay significantly more than I did before to regain access I paid for. Overall, skip this app, and I wish the developers didn’t scam all those who gave them a chance years ago and bought their pro version when it came out.

I liked it until recently
I liked this better than some similar apps but recently it has me at 0 or 0.3 for days. I do the breathe app and it goes to 5 but then back to 0. Meanwhile similar apps have me much higher. Not sure how to fix it.

Needs an update.
Not sure what is happening with this app but over the last few months it is almost impossible to force updates throughout the day. Takes a reading when you wake up but then can go 8+ hours without another. Have tried using the Breathe app multiple times to get the update and nothing… getting ready to delete.

Free version does nothing
Maybe I am missing something but the free version does nothing. It has been showing me at 10 for a couple of days. How can it always be a 10?
Originally I thought of buying it but because the free version does not seem to offer any indication that it is actually doing anything I didn’t bother. It is misleading to have a free version that does nothing.
I would give it one star but thought that wasn’t fair based on only using free version.

Random assessment of readiness.
After using this app for a few months I’ve come to realize the rating is white randomized. Hrv can be fairly high and resting hr low and the score is still low. And Vice versa. Not worth relying on by any means. Had high hopes, but very disappointed after these few months.

Battery issues
