Wasnt great
Used to use it when i relied on public transportation, the times would change often leaving you at the bus stop for a long time.

This app is trying to charge people to use it and is NEVER accurate. You’re better off looking at Google/Apple Maps. The information shown is never correct, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the buses. Even with the “tracking device” on the buses, it still would lie and show that a bus is 3 minutes away and you’re waiting 10-15 minutes. It doesn’t let you see the train or bus info, unless you’re right there at the stop. If you want to see it away from the stop, you have to pay. You pay and then you’re spending money on an app that doesn’t even give accurate information. A HUGE waste of time. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!

stop changing my departure time.
PLEASE STOP SWITCHING MY DEPARTURE TIME AFTER I MANUALLY CHOSE ONE! I’ll literally have to fight the app multiple times during a trip because I choose a departure time (say I want to monitor the trip but not leave right away) and the app says “Your choice doesn’t matter, leave right now.” or worse, sometimes it will randomly switch me to a LATER departure, messing up my live activity widget and causing me to be late for the earlier one because I didn’t notice this glitch in time. I’ve been begging you all to fix this for a year now.

It doesn’t have an accurate way to keep track where the buses are like the Passio Go app does

Needs major overhaul
I think that this app is generally fine but there are some huge QOL issues that, if I had another option, would be enough to make me jump ship. There's no intuitive way to quickly return to your location, and it feels like every time I open the app I just accidentally swipe to some random spot across town and have to restart it again. Its navigation feature is also not very good; if the app thinks that you can't make it to a stop in time (even if you know for a fact you will) it won't let you select it and it will lock you into the second best option. I take a route with very little wiggle room but I do know exactly how long it takes to get from the first stop to the second on foot.
I also wish that it would more properly recognize foot paths as it seems to only recognize the road. Which is fine in general, unless you're going to try to at least partially include walking directions. I hate the passive aggressive "hurry up!" notifications I get when I leave my house later than it thinks I need; there's a shortcut that turns the 15 minute walk into a 7 minute walk and it always sends the notification 10 minutes early as im trying to finish getting ready.
TLDR; fine app but once there's some real competition it won't last unless it is improved

I’ve never made reviews on an app until now because of how incredibly stupid it is. What do you mean in order to see different bus routes I have to pay for it?? DaBus never made us do all of this, in fact the app was easier to navigate with as well (unlike this horrendous app). Stop trying to make money off of people who already have to take the bus to who knows where. Be better.

Difficult at times to read where bus is. When I hit GO it often pops up random buses. Busses come late or early without much warning to get to the stop. My daughter got ripped off $15 using the app for the bus as well

I have used Transit for years and it has helped me a lot, but I think some features need serious improvement because many people rely on this app for work, school, appointments, and strict schedules - not just casual trips around the city.
The biggest issue is leave-time reminders. If my bus comes at 7:20 and my walk to the stop takes around 20 minutes, the app should not tell me “Leave now” when the bus is already only a few minutes away. “Leave now” should mean I can realistically make the trip. If I cannot reach the bus in time, the app should warn me that the trip is no longer possible and suggest the next realistic option.
There should also be stronger commute reminders. Let users create important trips like “Work” or “School” where the app prioritizes reliability and warns us earlier. Missing one bus can mean waiting almost an hour and being late.
Navigation also needs improvement. A transit app should guide walking routes more like GPS: which direction to walk, which side of the street the stop is on, when to cross, and how to reach the correct stop.
Detours and route changes also need better handling. Sometimes buses have to change direction or take a different path because of delays, construction, or other issues. The app should understand official detours instead of making the rider think they are going the wrong way.
Destination suggestions should also use better context. If I am already near my workplace after my shift, suggesting a trip back to work instead of home does not make sense.

Everyday I have to deal with the terrible app and to see if it tell me the times correct. It’s has more bad days than good. Literally tells me the wrong times for my busses. How are you supposed to rely on an app about the bus when it tells me a bus is coming in 17 minutes and within seconds it goes down to 6?? Like excuse me?? I can’t stand this app. I genuinely don’t know why I still use it.
It led me to a literal dead end to catch a bus
I use this app all the time, but lately, it’s been giving me a very hard time! I don’t have a car so I use the city bus all the time and it’s the worst where I live in the summertime. I was trying to get somewhere and it had me walk for a mile for me to find out it led me down a DEAD END!!! There was no way to get to that bus stop without sneaking over a gated community’s gate and trespassing through someone’s backyard to scale the wall. Obviously, I’m not an idiot and didn’t do any of that. It was a windy 110 degrees today and I nearly passed out! I ended up having to request a ride share to get to where I needed to go!

This app works up to a point and then crashes and lags the whole time im tryna find my buses and they dont even show the accurate times or location of the buses the location systems just break and give me “scheduled times” that are most of the time the canceled buses. And sometimes the buses work and the app helps but when the location breaks i cant even rely on the app for transportation anymore because i can never get where i need to go on time i always have to ask for a ride or get a uber. This app needs a SERIOUS remake

You guys need to make it clear that you are third-party. Bus times have been inaccurate. You don’t ever say when the bus decides is gonna go out of service in the past two weeks you claim that a bus is coming and it never does and when you transfer from LA county to Orange County, you don’t make it clear that we need two different apps.

it moves the times around rapidly and it’s confusing the times can be different sometimes and the time is always off as well. Some buses don’t pop up on the map, so it could be time 17 minutes, and then I start walking, and then there’s one that just pulls up.

Changes map directions causing me to get lost. Not clear directions of bus stops. This only works half the time. Do better. It’s 2026 we have the technology.
Payment complication
So I have added my debit card to my account that I created so that way I can get on the bus and every time I want to add money, my card is rejected and my refund is processed immediately. It will not take my money so I can pay for bus fare.

Literally a waste of time for me. The bus will say it’s five minutes away and then it doesn’t come for 30 minutes. Then it will say that it will come in five minutes and doesn’t come for 30.

Train schedules are inaccurate and misleading. Train left station four minutes before the app said it would. You have to pay to access schedules for buses and trains you are not in proximity to. Cannot plan transit routes unless you pay subscription fees

Poor sense of timing
Quite often this app gets it completely wrong. Tonight it said uptown subway was 10 mins away; I chanced it even tho going down steps after knee surgery is still an effort. There was the subway approaching the station!! It’s more irritating when it says a bus is 10 minutes away and it turns out to be 20.
Helpful but rarely accurate
The transit app is really bad at updates on the buses, half the time I’ve used it, the buses never come because the app is just wrong
