Doesn’t Work
I downloaded this after I had a weird man calling me on a No Caller ID number at midnight multiple times who knew my name but whose voice I didn’t recognize. Out of fear I downloaded this app and signed up for the free subscription but it never worked. That man continued to call me over and over for 35 minutes on No Caller ID and not once did the app catch or show me the number. I’m afraid that this app is just false advertisement and do not recommend you pay for it. I have an iPhone if that matters.

Do not recommend this app at all. It’s a complete glitch and I kept getting the same calls over and over again even after I deleted the app I ended up blocking the numbers, but I canceled my subscription and they still kept calling. It finally stopped. Do not recommend complete waste of money.
Garbage app, and they’ll make it worse!
I was only trying to block a person that was calling me from a NoCallerID number. I tried Trap Call and it didn’t work well, never could get past the “practice call” then after I quit the trail and deleted it, my info had already been sold by them - because immediately after, I started getting more than 30 calls a day, and it wasn’t that way before. Do not use!!

The app literally doesn’t work. It doesn’t log any phone calls and when trying to set up the unmasking feature, the test call keeps repeatedly coming through. Very annoying

This app no longer works it used to work very well. When you try to setup your phone to unmask the calls my phone just keeps ringing non stop. I would not recommend anyone to use this app
Glitching
I have tried purchasing this multiple times and it keeps giving me the same issue when I contact support they are no help and give me answers that have nothing to do with the issue I’m complaining about. This used to be a great app that worked but it no longer works or does its job. It’s now a waste. And still no one will help me solve the issue.
Dont pay for this .
I am a new member of this app and I’ve had people called me from Google number this app I’m a paid member I’m not even able to find out the real number where somebody is calling me from and when they are texting me I’m not able to tell that at all and I paid for this app so this is a waste of money don’t waste your money on this try to figure out if there’s something else that will Show Google numbers if somebody is calling from fake numbers.

I downloaded this app 5 months ago. I didn’t like anything about it in the first 5 minutes. Tried to cancel it right then and there. I have been trying to cancel my account for 5 months. Even reported this company to my bank’s fraud department and got a new card. Somehow they are still charging me. Worst app on the store, the Feds are gonna have an easy slam dunk against them one day

App is blocking saved contact calls
This app use to work effortlessly. I’ve had this app for about 3-4 years and it use to be good. Now every minute I’m having issues with saved contacts calls being blocked even though they’re saved in my contacts list. It’s really becoming frustrating and annoying that the app has been doing this for over a year. It’s definitely not worth the $100 any more.

I’ve had this app for a few years while paying $22.98 a month for two subscriptions. I’m disappointed to say that I realized that the app does not work anymore. I reached out to make TrapCall aware of this issue and nothing has been done to Resolve. I feel like I’ve been wasting money.

For some reason this app doesn’t unmask 888 numbers or any area code in my same area and when my phone has silence unknown calls it still allows them to come through.

Trap call used to be a great service. Now it’s absolutely trash. I paid for it and it hasn’t unmasked any of my calls that are blocked. Totally worthless and a waste of money!! Trust me, save your money. Find a better service. I’m going to.

It's so easy to sign up and upgrade your membership , but almost impassible to get out they don't have customer service support by phone they don't have an email if you try to chat with one of the members the application will crash

I have been with them for 10 years and in 2025 it just started having all these glitches! I use to love them but now it does not serve its purpose! You use to be able to message someone or at least talk with a person now everything is done by robot for them!

Free trial is FAKE - They WILL charge you for it
The app does not work and won’t identify unknown callers despite setting up correctly. They promise a week free trial, and it will show up as that in your subscriptions page initially with a payment pending that you are unable to stop, but if you cancel immediately or wait till it’s over they will charge you the full amount regardless - there is no actual free trial. Very shady

Not worth the money
For the amount of money they charge per year, all of the premium features should be included, and they are not. You still get spam calls that come through, half the spam calls or unknown numbers when you press lookup there’s no information that populates on it. So really what are you paying for. The app is quite useless.

Dumbest app EVER
I downloaded it to check the random numbers that keep calling me. When I signed up, they initiated a practice call. First it shows as NO CALLER ID, I declined and it shows the number and name and I declined it again (following the directions they gave me) but after declining it, they proceeded to call my number another 15 times until I blocked the number.

I paid and did everything as instructed and I’m still receiving no caller id calls, I got this app to unmask and confront who’s been harassing me, but the app doesn’t even recognize a single call I’ve received, I set the app to on in my settings and still nothing, waste of money and time.

My calls and voicemails are out of wack
I purchased this app because someone was calling repeatedly one night; however, the calls stopped that night after I purchased the app. The next day I deleted it. I thought everything was fine until people were telling me they were contacting me and my phone was sending them straight to voicemail. Some voicemails were not showing up. When I just went to delete the app to see if that helps, it stated I needed to deactivate the call forwarding option. In order to do that it’s saying I have to pay. I need the call forwarding option removed as soon as possible. Someone needs to reach out to me about this because I’m not paying a subscription just to deactivate the call forwarding.

I went to buy a subscription and when I did it said my card didn’t go through. Although when I checked my bank account today, it stated that TrapCall took $99.99 from my credit card. I wrote a request for a refund, and I have yet to hear back. If I have to get police involved I will.

Hasn’t worked since 2021
I loved this app when it worked, I have an iPhone and ever since Aug 2021 it hasn’t worked. I asked for support last week since I decided to pay the yearly fee since it’s been years but it failed to work & they emailed me an AI response on how to use app but I’ve done everything and still didn’t work. I got my refund
