App does not work!
I saw an ad on TikTok for TruPlay and I was very excited as the games looked great and I knew it would be a great app for my kids to play where they could also hear the word of God. So I downloaded it and started the free trial. When I installed the app on my phone, which is the new iPhone, it did not work. None of the games worked for me. I open it and sometimes the application works and sometimes I have to close out of it and open it up again and wait for it to load. Once it gets to the main page I clicked on all of the games but none of them would let me play the games it would just be stuck on the loading screen. This was for every single game even the coloring game did not work. The only thing that did work on this app for me was the book section. Where you can look at the different books or have the app read it to you. I also tried this application on one of my children’s older iPad and it did not work at all. None of the games work so unfortunately I have not finished my free trial but I had to just unsubscribe because I’m not going to spend 12 dollars on an application that does not work. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work but I do hope the company can address these issues because I would actually like to have my children play these games.
Cool, but not $70 cool
App is the slowest thing on the planet. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen anything this slow since dial up internet. We were excited for this but it takes so long to even load anything that your kid will immediately lose interest and walk off. Been trying to get a game to play for 30 minutes and have had no luck. Definitely won’t be paying $70 a year for it. We will continue to search for a Christian based app that actually works.
Crashes, haven’t played a game yet
This app is horrible, it either stays on a blue screen or when you select a games is freezes and locks up. Haven’t actually played a game yet. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Won’t load
We were excited about this app. Unfortunately, every time we try to play it freezes up or won’t open. When it does open, it crashes and kicks us out. We’ve tried 4 different devices 😑
Slow
Can’t even play with how slow the game loads and most the time you just get a dark blue screen and nothing happens.

Disappointing
Just ANOTHER subscription they're wanting you to pay to play. I'm willing to purchase the game once, but I'm NOT paying for another subscription.
App doesn’t work
I just downloaded this app and attempted to use the free trial but it never moved away from the subscription page. The app is strictly asking you to subscribe with a 7 day free trial, then stays on that subscription page indefinitely. No amount of closing out the app and restarting fixes it. I’ve also updated the app. Just simply doesn’t work on our ipad. So sad and we’re very disappointed having looked very forward to playing these games.

This app has no support , customer service, or contact info and when I tried to cancel in trial five min after downloading it says “ set for review of deletion in next thirty days!!” Again - no one to contact so I will charged whatever they feel even tho I seen within five minutes this is download and hand MY device to child!!!!! No use on another device or tv! Don’t download!!!!
Games Don’t Load
Was excited to try this game for kids but sadly most games will not load or open. Just a blank screen. The games that do open have several pop ups stopping the game. Frustrating experience.
it keeps glitching out
At first when it was loading it was at 20% then the next I know it’s at 70% then when I look away for a second it’s at 20% again! But I’m not sure if it happens to your phone or tablet or whatever it is

Play problems
I downloaded this game, looking at it and thinking how much fun it would be. But I realized that you cannot play any other games or do anything on true play without subscribing so I deleted the app. Please make it so that you can play without subscribing.
Glitchy
I wanted to love this so badly. I purchased the $70 plan for the year and unfortunately the app is so glitchy none of the games work. Only one can sort of be played. I requested a refund shortly after we purchased, I followed up a couple times and nobody has responded. If there is a human on the other side of this can you assist me in a refund please? Thank you 🙏

Scam I think
I signed up for the free one week trial and it confirmed that it was going to charge me after the one week trial. However, now I can’t login. I started it earlier today so the trial hasn’t ended yet. I created a login and it let me in initially, but then when I came back into the app, I was logged out. I tried resetting my password and the app still won’t let me login. I think this might be a scam.

Glitching problem
I would’ve loved for my 6 year old to sit down and play this game without any issues but that’s just not the case here. As soon as he opens the game and begins playing, the games starts to glitch and blanks out on him. I am not sure if anyone is having the same issues, but I truly hope that the creators can get this fixed because this gaming app would be very ideal for my children.

This app is deception at its finest. First before entering your email and an account, it says free $0.00. Then once you give them your information you have to subscribe for $12.99 mo/ or $79 annual fee, which is overpriced. Once I agreed to a 7 day free trial, I was charged a monthly subscription with no free trial at all.

Evangelizing For Profit
So when did evangelizing become a business? Jesus didn’t charge for serving others so why is everyone else? So poor children don’t get to know about Jesus? If other companies can evangelize for free I feel that you can too. Ask for donations instead of charging. Jesus never said go tell the world the good news and get rich.

Sooo glitchy 😢
We loved this app last year but after a month it got super glitchy so we had to keep uninstalling it and reinstalling it all the time. Then it completely stopped working. This year we re downloaded it and paid for the subscription again because it’s gotten good reviews and its had time to be updated and fix the glitches. AS SOON AS WE PAID THE SUBSCRIPTION FEE IT KICKED US OUT AND WONT WORK AGIAN.

I was supposed to receive a free trial of 7 days and instead i was charged 69$ with the whole year not good at all.

My kids loved this app! I was so happy to find a Christian app for my kids to enjoy. I had gotten a free year trial from someone on TikTok. My year has now come to an end and I don’t have the money to continue the subscription so I went to cancel my subscription. The website will not let my click on the manage subscription tab. I went to account settings and STILL it will not let me interact with the manage subscription tab there either. I have contacted support twice and still no response. I can’t afford for another yearly subscription to come out of my pocket and all because the company won’t get back to me or even just fix their website so I can cancel. This is my first ever review on any app. That is how frustrated and disappointed I am. People need to be able to cancel their subscription whenever they would like. This is absolutely ridiculous. If they don’t let me cancel my subscription in time, I better get my money back if they charge me. What a bummer.
