It is good in theory to have a dating app that is based off of music, but there is too many bots on here. Online dating is terrible and this app is included.

Had been a user for 3+ years, only had two successful matches in person. Avoided other dating apps with the hopes this app would let me connect with music minded people but the app never improved or got acclaim. The pool of users never grew exponentially in size. Lots of bot accounts and charging $15+/m is a wild choice. In comparison 1 day on Bumble yielded what this app did in 3 years. App never caught on in popularity.

only ever encountered transphobes or just straight up chasers on here. Not an inclusive space for lgbtq+ people despite it being marketed as an “alternative” dating app. its more punk to be queer than it is to performatively flaunt your music taste anyways.

Things used to be better.
There was a time in the beginning where you could see who liked your account. And you would be able to connect with people very easily. Now you have to pay for every goddamn thing and no one even gets to talk to each other now

I saw some cool people on here that I would have liked to chat with… but thats all you can do without a subscription. See others. You cannot see who liked your profile so you can connect with them, you get no messages because everyone is only allowed 2 messages, who even knows if you can receive messages without premium, you are only allowed to message 2 people at a time.
How exactly do you expect people to meet on this app exactly? EVERYTHING about meeting them is locked behind a paywall. I get some features being locked behind a paywall, you have to make money somehow. But this is RIDICULOUS. There are so many extra features that you could add so premium would be worth it without ruining the entire concept of the app. You cannot meet anyone on this app. It’s a complete waste of time. You spend the entire time looking at others profiles who do have similar music taste (I do love the concept because music connects) and you can like as many as you want. But thats as far as it goes. You cannot make any real connections on this app without pay in an absurd amount for what should be BASIC FUNCTIONS.
Oh and did I mention the premium isnt even a price that’s reasonable that I might be willing to pay for, it’s around 11.99 a WEEK just for the platinum version. Diamond version? 16.99 a week. This is insane pricing. 19.99 a month for platinum 27.99 a month for diamond??? There is not a singular subscription for any streaming service that even comes close to that amount. The prices are just ridiculous, almost no one can afford to pay that.

Beware, this app has a security issue. I created an account with my Gmail, and I got a security warning from Google that someone tried to log into my account right after

It’s honestly stupid that you have to pay money in order to see who liked you. It’s ridiculous!
Needs some work
Wouldn’t let me access matches or even find profiles to swipe. I gave my location- and it wouldn’t take me off the “it only asks for your location once” screen. Also won’t let me switch to friends mode

Pointless unless you want to spend money
You can't actually see who liked your profile unless you pay for it, so it effectively makes it useless. If I could actually try the app and enjoy it then maybe I would consider a subscription for some other benefits that are extra, not ones that are necessary for the app's function

You’ve been verifying my profile for months and nothing has been done. A process that’s suppose to take 24hrs.

Underaged Issue (no age verification)
Needs an age verification badly. Several times after doing digging they were posing as adults and were actually minors. Do not recommend.

Do not download this junk, I’ve been using it for a year. I have 40 likes and every time i open the app it says I have no more people to swipe on. I understand the APP Devs need to make money but HOLY gate keeping!
Expensive and limited
I set up my profile, but it wasn’t clear that I would be blocked from having any interactions if I don’t pay for a premium membership. I was trying to consider whether or not pay for a membership, and especially for how long. It seems like most of the people were pretty far away, so I wasn’t sure if it would be worth it. I decided to go ahead, but now the price has at least doubled if not more. Way too expensive for the limited selection available. There wasn’t enough time to try this out and consider whether to join.

Created an account and logged me out within a day, did not provide me with access to reset my password. This is my third and final update to this review, as someone who has used the app for a year: There are seemingly nothing but bots, now. Every message and like I have received in the last month have been from bots. The app is dead.

Logged me out without reason can’t log in or create new account. What a waste of time
So I was on the app a lot more recently and it just boom kicked me out and says I don’t have an account with any of the sites linked. Extremely annoying. Deleting me without reason is lame.
And the amount of bots and scammers is staggering. They don’t verify people it seems and it’s lame. All I was looking for was concert buddies and it seems that isn’t happening. This is why I don’t like apps much these days. They’re terrible now….

Has potential but not good
Just like the majority of apps like these, you have to pay to do anything, and its kind of unreasonably priced. I have also gotten a LOT of bot messages that are out of my age range that I have selected so I know it’s specifically made like that. It’s irritating and the app has a lot of potential but you won’t get any matches unless you drop $20 on it.

So I finally got a match after waiting for a while and it didn’t even show up under my matches I couldn’t mssg them and I couldn’t even see their profile , also the amount of likes you get before having to pay for more is ridiculous good idea poor execution.
No buttons work
Can someone explain to me how I’m supposed to find anyone at all when the bio buttons all work, but nothing else does. I cannot filter location circumference to make a wider area, and don’t see a single other profile on here. It’s as if I’m the only user of this app. Was this just one big mistake to download or am I doing something wrong? Someone, please, respectfully, I need some help.

You cant see who likes your stuff without paying at least 16 dollars which is crazy stupid and makes your app look greedy and pointless. They cant see you and you cant see them so whats the point and paying to see if its someone you might not even like is stupid and greedy. Immediately, upon creating an account, I get bombarded with messages from people hundreds of miles away. Outside my filter, not a match - but straight to DM. I also ran out of people in my area very quickly. I hope real people come to the app soon!
I had a bad and traumatic experience with the app
I got scammed by one of those bad persons who threaten people for money, I just erased most of my social media accounts and hoped nothing bad happened with this guy sharing personal info but well hope you guys can fix that, for me it’s just I cant deal with this and anxiety issues but thanks.

$16.99 for one month is INSANE. There aren’t NEARLY enough people using this app to justify that price. Even if there were a lot of users that’s still wild.
